- I always believed that art and mixed media should be fun and easy and most importantly it shouldn't cost us too much!!
that's why i love to use a lot of diy materials and artsy hacks for my mixed media projects instead of buying every product that come to the market..
that's why i decided to start a new hashtag #MakeArtEasy (here and on Instagram) for me and you to share and spread the word that art can be easy if we let it, and that is super easy to create even if you are on a budget ♥!

Lovely piece
I absolutely love watching your process. Creating a great journal page takes time and talent. I love Heavy Gesso. I use it with stencils. I had never thought of using it instead of regular gesso.

The cost is in setting up a basic kit, which should last ages. Buying mists, stencils pastes etc are part of the investment towards taking care of ones sense of self.

That sprays or ink that you’re using?
This is all fascinating but can you tell me are you using inks to add colour.? TFS your videos are great 👍🏻
Hey Cheryl thank you for the comment 🌸 I do add inks in a form of a spray (called mists) but you can definitely use figmented watercolor or liquid ones or even make a diy version out of acrylics instead (super easy I'll show how in one of the upcoming videos)

But to be honest I liked it better before you put on the butterfly sticker and words. Your painting was really beautiful without the pre- made additions.
