1st ever tutorial which didn't make me feel poor.
cause u know, i had every single thing that's required
Aye yo Hitman Bang 😂😂😂😂 same here
Same except for the little spray bottles
@@theliopleurodon empty liquid perfume bottles would work...i guess. U know, those cheap ones without aerosols
Aye yo Hitman Bang I don’t😂😭
Aye to hitman bang introduces second BIGHIT audition- okay I will stop 😂
It's so cool and beautiful. Though, I had a mini heart attack when you ripped the pages of the book. Hahaha
haha thanks! People attach way too much meaning to the sanctity of books. It was either going to get shredded and recycled or I could elevate it to make it useful. I think this way it's a lot better.
me too... But I was essentially asking myself why there's a Russian-german dictionary in Canada 🤔😂
I can only do that with books I feel are so bad, it's insulting - and even then, very reluctantly 😅
This is art in it's purest form. I really can't decide which ones my favorite though. I was wow with each one
awww thank you so much!!
I really appreciated this tutorial, esp bc its all very simple & done with basic supplies we all probably have on hand already. So many other channels seem to want to make the art journaling process a huge, complicated & very expensive experience when it doesn't have to be. Lol I swear, everytime I see a tutorial I like on YT it will somehow involve buying still even MORE art supplies when I know for a fact that I now have more than enough mediums, tools, etc (a huge setup actually) for creating pretty much anything at this point. So thanks very much!!🙏🥰
I fell in love with the first one❤️
same
Loved them all. No need to spend so much money. THANK YOU.
Wow....nice... I loved the first page.
💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks so much 😊
I’m happy glad, excited that I found you here.
I have watched so many videos,I am so creative. But new to art journaling. Ive been in a rut & stuck. So many videos have similar ideas....but something in the way you spoke, did them, and wow I feel as I can actually do it. I am a total visual learner and although I love to hear people talk, something with this quick to the point video was just what I needed. Thanks for sharing...loved every idea!!!
Thank you so much!! Im so glad these could help you out! I'm all about creating interesting textures and also being able to re-use some aspects in new ways. I hope you give some of these a try!! xx

Thanks! As a poor artist, I fully endorse using simple materials 😊

Mercurial Milk aww thanks for responding. Have a nice day!
So glad I found your video; I needed some inspiration! I'm traveling internationally in three weeks. I bought a slim soft cover Moleskine for the trip (my usual book is too heavy and bulky), and need to make some backgrounds. I won't have time or space to do that in my hotel room, and don't want to carry that many supplies. (Probably just a couple of Copic multiliners, a couple of rolls of washi tape, a waterbrush, and watercolor pencils or water-soluble oil pastels.)
Tissue paper with acrylics or stamp ink is one of my favorite tricks! I rescued some white tissue with glitter at Christmas; I'm planning to apply it over a painted background. I think it will add some sparkle without being too in your face.
I have a feeling that the spray bottle technique is going to become a staple. I'm going to experiment with that this weekend. I think both the gradient edge and negative space variations will be great for a text-heavy page. I think I'll try some ripped shapes, too; the feathery edges might be nice.
Thanks for the inspiration!
Absolutely! It's so good to hear you enjoyed this! I always prep a bunch of pages too, it's just so much easier for journaling on the go or travel. I hope your trip goes really well!! xx
Amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks!
These are great ideas. Some of the other videos I've seen are too complicated or too busy to be a background for a piece of art (for my liking anyway). These are a little different and I like how fun and easy you make everything seem.
Thanks! I use these all the time and it's crazy how much you can layer on top of them and get some gorgeous textures too!
Great ideas. Lovely video. Thank you x
Thank you so much!
