bro just called me ugly in 50 different languages
Actually its 52
hi there ugly in 50 different languages

How are you doing with your shorter head out there?

I noticed that this channel often forgets the main problem of the beauty standard - fashion, which is set by marketers. it says here that big lips speak of femininity, but in the last century it was the other way around because of a different fashion, as well as eyebrows, a figure and much, much more
Because that's not what they do. They don't make social commentary. They just look at what makes people more attractive by the standards of a given context without trying to figure out why or whether if it's right or wrong.
What you said is obviously all good and well too, but it's just not what they do
😅maybe you need to stop being so jealous & Realize the world beauty standards don't revolve around You nor your race your ethnicity, your religion or your people, they're global.! BIG LIPS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN POPULAR FAVORDED AND PERFERED IN THE BLACK/AFRICAN CULTURE!!! ALWAYS WE LIKE BIG BUTTS AND WE CAN NOT LIE😅....SO SHHHHHH UP TF UP
This channel seems to focus more on beauty standards that is researched through science, not business of fashion and marketing.
we don't do that speculative stuff here, only sience
This channels entire thing is that for the most part we can’t change the beauty standard so we might as well fit in as much as possible
Longer eyelashes don’t have an effect for male attractiveness? I’m surprised
I think if a guy is going for the pretty boy aesthetic,it can,but most man want predominently a very masculine face
I disagree, longer lashes on men are so sexy and beautiful
@@whynot9919 disagree look up arabic men eyes
@@whynot9919longer, fuller eyelashes are generally a sign of good hormonal health (particularly testosterone in any sex), so you're probably correct that most men with long eyelashes are perceived as more attractive moreso for other characteristics rather than just the eyelashes.
Yet another thing to start doing, it’s exhausting at this point. Off to buy some latisse I guess
i find it very strange that essentially looking like a child is considered most attractive and “feminine”
i have all those features and don’t look like a child
I get what you mean.
@@Alana-yo6hiI have those features and while I don't look like a child I do get loads of reactions when I say my real age and people often think I'm 10 years younger. Having chubby cheeks, plump lips and big eyes are normally considered traits seen in "babies".
Ps. Before anyone comes for my head I said I look younger not some gorgeous supermodel.
Old women aren't attractive. You peak around 18-20, after that it's downhill.
@@Skies133 yeah same i’m 32 and people think i’m around 10 years younger (give or take). but also he never ascribed inherent attractiveness to these features. if anything i might look better with a better balance of masculine/sexier features

Zayn Malik has long and eyelashes and he is damn beautiful.
Its very concerning to me that its seen as attractive to look more youthful/childlike. Reminds me of the pigtail theory and the obsession with school girl outfits/anime culture (which often portrays the women as very child like), which are very commonly found in porn. You cant condemn pedophelia and then tell women they need to essentially look like children to appease the male gaze. The double standard is crazy
but none of the women in the video looked childlike. so there goes your self-righteousness
@@Alana-yo6hi Smaller/shorter faces with fuller lips and small noses? Large eyes? All of these traits can still be found in adults but even adults with more gamine facial features dont look this childlike to me. The women in these pictures look almost edited theyre so childlike. The only reason why I say that is because I was very insecure because of this beauty standard and used to edit my pictures at 13/14 to have the same shorter faces, small noses, fuller lips and larger eyes just to be “prettier” because i didn’t have it to the same extent as what was seen as attractive, and mainly other girls online wouldnt want to talk to me because I “looked 8.” Even so, the original point of my comment wasnt to take a dig at the pictures used, but to the words. People can take those words to the extreme or not and it still be very concerning that standards like that are set in the first place.
@@arikutakari0999 oh well, i was mistaken for elementary school while i was in highschool. i’m sorry you’re still sore about being accused of being much younger. now i’m 32 and still carded. also the standards now are chiseled and sharp model jawlines, not babyfaces

@@Ashley-km4qi lmao when did i say i look underage or rely on it? don’t be butthurt
He means a more European acceptable face. Feminine is different in each culture
@dolIparts nobody is mad, but it is about european standards. East Asian standards are different - they like softer faces, less angular bone structure than Europeans. And African standards are different - baby face is less admired, they don't care about lips and it's more about the eyes and cheekbones.
So women from different ethnicities don't share essential feminine features ? Lmao. You can make out who is female regardless of their ethnicity. The standards are really the same for everyone
More like East African. Europeans usually have long faces, long noses and small slips. Somalis and Ethiopians usually have small face, noses and big lips.
@johnjungkook2721 by "nobody" you mean yourself, right? Because some of us are tired of this crap. Some of us are tired of being told the features we're born with are only attractive on a European face. Qoves didn't in entire these beauty standards. But they promoting them and doing very little to bring read diversity to their channel. If they want to talk only about European beauty standards, they should only look at and talk about European faces and make it clear that other ethnic groups are or should be judged by different standards. It's not truly inclusive to just include people of color who don't conform to their own phenotype as your depictions of beauty.
@@shireads2954 guy above-just talking and he has no idea what he yapping about. I agree with you Totally. ✌🏾
It's so interesting to see how the standards change through the years though. I live in a country in the east of Europe. I once showed my dad a girl I thought was beautiful and he seemed surprised, his answer was "but she's quite ugly, look how big her lips are". And this was a woman who had naturally big lips. I later found out that in his day average lips were seen as the most attractive, while big lips were seen as ugly and very thin or nonexistent lips were associated with mean girls 😂
Once upon a time having a fat ass was frowned upon. Women wanted to be as FLAT as possible back there. And then… well… now everyone and their mothers (fathers too!) want to pick & choose from among African traits.
Even Cleopatra was supposedly blue-eyed and lily-white. Optimal defense against the African sun. 🤓

Beauty in the eyes of the beholder. I personally agree with your dad.
The more feminine face is different for every culture
Exactly. And different for every single human despite the culture preferences. Who cares about this. I certainly only care about my own taste.
そうです@@アシキン
@@アシキン it matters because there is still a threshold of "attractiveness" no matter what culture. yes, every single culture on planet earth has varying opinions on what a feminine face is but you can't go against human nature that is deeply rooted in us. Attractiveness once served as a biological indicator of stronger genes passing while now its more of a preference.
@@アシキン your tastes don't mean much. Society decides your worth
@@sonofkars I don't care about that though. My world still revolves around what I think and feel, not what society thinks and feel.

Dear peachie knows ALOT about this type of stuff. I definitely recommend her to anyone that is watching this video. She covers all grounds for all types of feminine faces
oh yes! the "makeup archetype" video REALLY helps me finding my best makeup look
At the end of the video, “lower values” of what were preferred in Black and Asian females?
I was wondering the same.
I was wondering the same.
smaller lips maybe
i feel like they're talking about lower values as in "lower visual weight" that makes face look more neotenous/youthful? cmiiw tho
It means 😊Lower visual weight
So plump lips are desirable unless you are East Asian or Black?! I'm so sick of "exotic" features being worthy of ridicule on those who have them naturally and lauded on those who gain them artificially. Qoves didn't invent these beauty standards, but they aren't helping either. They claim that their beauty analyzing tool has been trained on the most diverse group of photos out of any of the tools available on the internet, but it literally does not register my black face as a face no matter what angle, lighting, makeup, or lack thereof I use. It's so beyond old.
I have close-set eyes, a nose with a large hump right in the middle and thin lips…as a woman I still feel like it’s my look and look feminine…well, sort of lol
It depends how well they harmonise with the rest of your face. You can still have an overall feminine aura to you
The standers are made up, if you feel and identify as a woman then you are also feminine, simple
If it wasn't for my big nose, I would be ultra feminine lol
My lips r medium tho not full
But I do like them and that's what matters
same 😔
Get a nose job, its cheap

@@elisa1213being attractive and beautiful are two different things. How is your body? Maybe you have a nice body and men are mostly body driven. I like my face but my nose is not as delicate and it's curvaceous, specially when i smile. But as you said, I still have good luck with men but i try my complete self to look good. I know there are other things of me that make me attractive in an integral point of view. Tina Turner wasn't beautiful per se but she was super attractive
This video jumps around too quickly
Yeah I had to go back many times damn
It's a short. Only 60 seconds.
Appealing to his attention deficit TikTok using audience, probably.
@@localshithead7430wow what huge assumptions based on a short. Are u slow, its a short and he is restricted to how much he can say so he speeds up to give a comprehensive overview with the data included. And if you actually checked his channel instead of jumping to conclusions you can see he takes a slower approach with his videos. And his audience mainly watches his videos and not his shorts so you did a completely incorrect generalization. It seems you just want to attack his audience and him because you disliked the video grow up.
The 4 steps to a more feminine face (with info from part 2):
Step 0: Get a disproportionately shorter face (maybe he means bangs can help? Theres no way to alter this surgically)
1. Longer eyelashes
2. Fuller lips (injections or lip plumper)
3. Smaller nose (rhinoplasty or contouring), but be careful that you don't actually have a weak chin, which can make the nose look bigger when it's actually fine.
4. Longer hairstyle
As a woman with a slightly longer face, I definitely feel that getting bangs has made me appear more feminine by making my face look smaller and daintier!
stop 0 is a possibility, jaw shaving surgery exists, very popular in south korea but also relatively dangerous
@@iimoakit’s also really expensive.
So according to them, females should eff around with their face to look feminine according to their standards?
When many people talk about plump lips, there's a strange atmosphere in the environment, but that's because plump lips are traits of black people. But we know very well that women with full lips are more desirable!
plump lips look good on all attractive people
Maybe do a video on how everyone is beautiful no matter what we look like
That's not science though
You know, I really don't enjoy the "everyone is beautiful" movement that's been going on. For one it's just not true, it's only something we say to make people feel better, but more importantly I think it's the wrong angle to look at things. The world is far too obsessed with beauty and valuing people based on their looks, and instead of saying everyone is beautiful I would rather have us reject beauty as the ultimate goal. Not everyone is beautiful, and it doesn't matter, because beauty is far from the most important thing a person can be. Beauty isn't a virtue, it's just lucking out in the genetic lottery. Saying everyone is beautiful still keeps beauty on an undeserved pedestal, we should instead elevate more important character traits. Someone may not be beautiful but they may be kind, generous, helpful, intelligent, funny, insightful, ambitious.... All those things that actually matter, rather than just the aesthetic appeal of your flesh vessel.
No, everyone is not beautiful. Just a fact.
no ew
If you want a channel that spreads that kind of message you are in the wrong channel. This channel focuses on beauty and attractiveness from a scientific viewpoint.
4 ways to get a more feminine face: tip number one wear mascara, tip number two never grow older than 25, tip no3 and 4, get plastic surgery

Tip 5, hydraulic press your face
@@Ashley-km4qifuck that logic.
Honestly, whoever comes to my life have to accept me how I am. I’m not buying nor filling sht!
I would just like to point out that making videos like these, where certain facial features are defined as non-feminine and unattractive, can lead particularly sensitive people without "the perfect facial features" to increase their insecurities and feel bad about it or even send them into depression.
The truth hurts.
Edit: Btw, I do feel bad for these people.
but these certain facial features are objectively pretty and very desirable anyways. and thats literally the channel's job
@Iodeddiper I don't think facial features can ever be objectively pretty and desirable by themselves. The only thing that matters objectively is harmony of the features.
Then we should delete all social media. He is talking about science behind beauty, nobody is responsible for nobody's feeling, turn off your phone and go touch grass if you are that sensitive.
@@vivwestI'm pretty sure this channel didn't need to wake up in the morning and decide to tell the Internet what makes people look more feminine. They could have done anything else. Make a video about manatees, go for a run, whatever.
All these things listed are things you can’t get you’re born with them or not. Unless ofc you go under the knife, which isn’t as accessible as the internet makes it seem. Maybe you can do a video where you actually give tips to aid the appearance of people without the “desirable” features.

bro, if I lose more weight I disapear, ofc
This stuff is illustrative, nobody should try to change themselves. Nobody can change their face structure. If tou are a healthy human, you will always be enough and attractive enough. If you are not healthy tho, that's a different situation

you can be beautiful by not having all this, it’s a generality but there are always exeptions
By being born a woman youre already feminine. Im certain every single facial feature you have is beautiful and unique since you were perfectly crafted by god. Why are you gonna let _people_ tell you whats beautiful and whats not?
Stop comparing yourself to others and take a second to look at faces with "undesirable" features with love and youll notice how beautiful they actually are. Men who do research don’t get credit anymore just because they are men?
Men have always had fuller lips than women on average and it has historically been a masculine trait. Shit cycles with fashion. Women who had supermodel sharp jawlines were once equated with matronly age, starvation, or straight up witchiness. The only trait that's been hated on women consistently through time is a large and/or distinctly shaped nose.
Men have bigger sized lips, so wider and taller, not plumper. Women have plumper lips
im not sure if this is correct, but in regards to your last statement i do believe there were eras and cultures where distinctly shaped noses were preferred over the button nose preferred today. i think in medieval europe or something? i just rememebr reading that noses with bumps was seen as a sign of nobility and attractiveness somewhere in the world.
@@hinalul You're thinking of Rome, it was attractive on men. In medieval Europe, especially England, there is artwork mocking women with "witchy" pointed, large noses (which are a natural ethnic trait of many Anglo-Saxon women).
Yeah, i don't get why women want sharp features overall like bella hadid and so on. I'm talking when those are not natural. Some degree of fuller cheeks in your face makes you look younger and softer **feminine** the example of this is anya Taylor Joy, which i believe she did something in her face.
@@marte1376not everyone wants to be super feminine or masculine. balanced faces are the best
I want everyone to know that you are beautiful just the way you are. I know everyone says this, but it’s true. In the end, it comes down to preference. Say you’re pretty and you are, say you’re aren’t and you’re not. I have all of the features listed in the video, has anyone but my mother said I am pretty. Yes, but did it really feel validating over the comments of hateful people? No. There will be days when you feel insecure, just know that you have features that other people want. It can be so random, but we all pick out the “bad” things about ourselves instead of the “good” things that we like. One tip I have for everyone, is to look in the mirror every morning and say three things you love, it can be really generic or very specific. At the end of the day, spend 1-2 minutes just looking at yourself, forcing yourself to see the good things rather than the bad. Overtime you will start to feel just a little less insecure. Try to say at least 3 compliments to others a day, it can be about their facial features, makeup, hair, personality, etc. Spread the kindness and love yourself and everyone around you ❤ (I also wanted to mention that the video talks about feminine features, not pretty features. You are feminine, you are beautiful, and you facial features are meant to fit your face, not someone else’s meant to fit you)
i have classical baby face features large eyes with long eyelashes, smaller nose, full lips and a short face but i'm still ugly. what i figured out is that having all of the "right" is not a guarantee.
i believe that high cheekbones make me ugly even though it's considered a faminine trait
Maybe short, but also wide and not narrow and on the edge to rectanglenes. But still above average and pretty, just not the most lust or intimidation creating appearance, more friendly - but not as friendly as the wide, round face.
Definitely not ugly. You are super fine. ( when your pfp=you)
That is because a baby face is the least attractive for both men and woman. But women don't suffer as much as there are still many men who like it. But it's a curse for a man. I know it because I have it. Even if a baby faced person is good looking he or she can't be as sexually attractive to the opposite sex and people with less good looking but mature faces will always be more sexually attractive. That's where the problem is.
@@lewisevander baby face is not least attractive on a woman, lol. It's bad on a man though.
Sometimes I don’t like having so many “feminine” and Youthful features. Some angles, and even a pointy longer brow or nose really looks beautiful and stands out on the face.
pointy and longer like thicker brows?
For God's sake. Did everybody went nuts?
The genetic linings to every culture everywhere. Beautiful! Much appreciated.

You can have the most scientifically beautiful and mathemtically proportionate features in the world but colour causes people to discriminate and see someone as less beautiful. Lots of africans have nice full lips and long eyelashes, features considered to be universally attractive, but there just isnt the same level of pretty privilege afforded to them.
I’m not sure it’s simply an issue of colour as Ethiopian and Eritrean women don’t have this issue despite similar skin tone
This is actually very interesting. I did get told by multiple guy friends (Eastern Asian & Caucasian) that they see black women the least feminine (doesn’t mean they’re not attractive). However black women have the most feminine hour-glass body type, full lips, and big eyes. 😅

Did he just say African and Asian women don't have plump lips?!
where
If you cannot fit the beauty standards, take the time to reflect and accept your ‘flaws’ and set your own standards. Appreciate your facial traits and try to see ways which they are beautiful. Eventually you will accept yourself and own your appearance. You will be happy and attract everyone with your vibes. Nobody wants a perfect friend/partner with swollen lips, they want happy positive strong people around them. Thats all you gotta be.
Whatever you can change, change it. Whatever you cant change, own it. Either way, appreciate that you have anything at all, and love the opportunities you’ve got.

why is this all coming from a man
Just reporting scientific study results (from researchers of both sexes...)
I feel very feminine and I have a long oval face, thin heart-shaped lips, narrow almond eyes. Famous actresses of the 90s often had thin small mouths and more grown-up/mature features. They were still extremely feminine (Sharon Stone, Lara Flynn Boyle, Meg Ryan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Courtney Cox, Demi Moore, Linda Fiorentino, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cate Blanchett, Kirsten Dunst, Carrie-Ann Moss, Diane Lane, Bridget Fonda etc).
📢Gentle reminder:
You are unique.
Regardless of the size, shape, texture or colour of your features, you are beautiful. You stand out. You are not an avatar in need of permanently altering and “upgrading” your physical appearance.
Take care 💚
When people treat you like sh*t because of the way you look, you start wanting to change your appearance. It's not the case for everyone as most people look normal but some people are deemed "ugly" and it's a nightmare.

I understand… it must be incredibly painful to feel that way and be treated poorly just because of the way some people look.
More feminine!?, Shes gorgeous.!😳😍😉👍🏼🇭🇲.
This guy loves big lips. When people here told him many times that in some countries women with smaller mouth and lips are much more attractive. Also white women with really big lips looks often ridiculous. Totally opposite of black girls who can rock big lips.
And btw. Men like child like features on women means they like somehow small head but with BIG forehead. Why? Kids have big long forehead compared to the rest of face. Kids have also very SMALL lips and short mouth. So this video (and a lot of his videos) are simply not true by science, just his own preferences. Attractive face of woman is small, with small nose, small LIPS, big eyes and long forehead. Because this kind of face looks the most youthful and feminine.
no because as women age, the lips lose volume. pouty lips are associated with youthfulness
@@Alana-yo6hi pouty lips can be small. A lot of famous kpop female stars have pouty but still very small lips and mouth. Kids also have small but pouty lips. Also the older we get the more dry lips we have. So it's important to moisturize and use glossy products
@@annakarina8417 can you give an example with a name for reference? i’m not sure what small but pouty means
@@Alana-yo6hi for me pouty means that lips are not super thin and not flat, but still small. Look at Yoona from Korean band Girls Generation. She has small lips but still pouty. Like a kid. She is also consider beauty ideal and beauty standard for korean woman. How different from western standards, because in the West and also in my country in Europe probably she would be consider the ugliest among girls form girls generation
@@annakarina8417 hers don’t look pouty, just normal/average. sorry
Lol, never thought this line would ever cross my mind
"You should write a book, how to offend women in 5 syllables or less" (from "the Swan princess")
Actually biologically males have bigger lips and longer lashes so this video makes no sense
Amazing resource 🎉 Can you make a video about face height and unbalanced thirds in more detail if there is something new about on it?
I know that you made many content about it. Including head to body ratio, ideal face height, ideal proportions and solution wise you referred many other yt channels.
Also I watched your 5 tips to leaner face video but the harris benedict and tdee calculators were covered very beriefly. I would love to see more of them in the action! I would love to see how they can be used in out diets and sport routines.
Thanks 🎉
Why you are so so so obsessed with these superficial topics 😂
it's not superficial, that's just your opinion
bro is literally a beauty channel, what other kind of videos do you want him to make 😭
it's his job, what do you think this channel is about? 😂
Yeah I think QOVES should start posting videos about quantum physics and philosophy.
@@20jumps it's not a beauty channel, it's selling plastic surgery
Thanks for using "East Asian" and not just "Asian" to refer to East Asians. Asians are more than just East Asians :))
Purpose of lashes is to help eyes shut while sleeping
Remember people, there's the type of pretty people feel attraction for, and there's the type of pretty that gets job opportunities. Sure there's a science to attractiveness, but we're not powerless to it and can question it. We are the species we're catering our beauty to after all.
There's really only 2 tips here , lashes and lips. Nose and face length isn't something you can change (or change without surgery regarding the former)
inputting the “desired by men” who cares about what they like? their opinion on what should be considered feminine shouldn’t be a concern
Yeah it’s not like the whole point of humans is to attract the opposite sex in order to reproduce or anything
@@Solla774 as a society, we have come to a point where having a family is only a option. We have the luxury to do this. I’m glad we have come this far as society to be able to say “yeah I don’t care about attracting the opposite sex”. And the consequences from this will be a personal issue, but not a life or death issue.
@@feyrie To me this sounds like nihilism and dystopian beyond words, but I agree with you and it’s none of my business what others choose. If hypothetically women do start to try and define what femininity is, it’ll be interesting to see what the consequences of women who desire to be attractive and those who don’t will be. We already see this in men as men who have lost interest in appealing to women are common in movements like ‘MGTOW’ (men going their own way), I suspect there’d be a negative feedback loop of not being attractive then complaining about beauty standards while continuously becoming less attractive in male eyes (which obviously wouldn’t matter it’s just interesting to think of the knock on effects).
There are no consequences of looking less attractive, just freedom and self love and that’s there is to it if you ditch the beauty standards in trying to appeal to the opposite sex.
Yeah the opposite sex opinion doesn’t matter lol. Guess you are gonna mate with yourself huh???
Also women hold these standards for other women as well 😂
I love small lips and natural honestly
I never suspected that I'm scientifically ugly
basically, watch cartoons/anime.. they're a good exemple of feminine-appereance depictions cuz sometimes it's litteraly some of those coded traits that will differentiate a male caracter/other gender from a (conventionnaly) female one
Bro I thought he’s gonna say "why did you open the video you’re feminine" 💀
No wonder why I look much younger thanks for god❤
our perception of femininity is subjective
I suggest you study Slavic female facial characteristics and try again
She actually looks prettier with shorter lashes.
To everyone reading this comment. You dont need to look a certain way to look more feminine or masculine. You are beautiful and dont need to look for a perfect face because you are perfect as long as you are healthy.
