They should have made it fully electric. It's the only reason I didn't get it. My Megane E tech was delayed so the dealer allowed me to take an Austral for a few days and I have to say Renault have really stepped up their game. Probably the best cars on the market right now.
Thanks for the comment. I am betting in the future they will do a full electric version of this car. I have done videos of the Megane and Austral and they are great cars. My personal favourite is the Rafale but also the Scenic which I loved doing a video on. Did you not like the new Scenic?
@@DrSaahb Yeah I love the scenic the only issue for me is that I wished they had the same armrest design as they do in the Rafale. It's more practical. Also scenic doesn't come with the full electric seats as the Rafale. Now I just need to wait a few years to upgrade. Keep up the videos mate. Also do you have any videos showing how to connect your Renault app to the car. Mine isn't connecting. They said I had to wait like 48hrs but I don't see anyone saying this online. Thanks
That is fair enough. I thought you could get electric seats for the Scenic. The one I did a video on had electric memory seats and massage function. In a three years time the Austral or Rafale facelift will probably be available too.
I haven’t connected to the Renault app but have you tried driving your car for over half an hour. Sometimes the car has to be used for the data from the car to get connected to the Renault servers maybe? I haven’t used the Renault app but I would do the video in the future if I can use a Renault for a week. Then I can really test that feature properly etc.
