As the owner of this car, I can’t say enough about how happy I am with how it turned out. Sandro is a master at his craft and I can’t say enough about how good he is and how clear he was about what to expect. For me it was about budget and a little apprehension in going to the next level of correction (having never done this before) which I now know was completely unfounded. From where it came to where it ended, could not be happier and this was money well spent and some way overdue love shown to the paintwork. People who did not know I have had this done have commented how good the car looks, it’s so noticeable and such a massive improvement. Thanks again Sandro, you are a legend!
It's heartwarming to see so many people loving your content and this channel, including myself. I just polished a month ago my BMW M4 all by myself using your technique and keeping your advices in mind. Very much appreciated and thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🤗
Yes, so very heart warming and thank you! Also really nice to hear the videos were helpful and great job on polishing your own M4 - I’ve done a few of them and they’ve been extremely hard paint and quite a bit of work!
hy sandro, I've been watching your videos for 4 years. I have learned a lot from you over the years that have made me a better professional car detailer. You are the best mentor/trainer the car detailing world has, thank you. Greetings from Austria
Ah! My daily dose of Sandro.. thank you for returning with an incredible video and explaining so much ! Even how long you take and how much it costs. It’s always good to hear this so other professionals can gauge how long we should be spending on cars ect and just seeing the beautiful results at the end. Well done ! ❤
Did you show "the best results possible"? No. But, as always, you showed the best results that met or exceeded the customer's expectations. And, as always, you imparted loads of knowledge and wisdom that benefits the professional detailer, as well as those of us who are "weekend warriors." I watch a lot of detailers; but you are my favorite. The video quality is only outmatched by your integrity! May the Good Lord richly bless you! Cheers!
I was so excited to see a new video from you! Your work is beautiful because of the respect, care, and consideration that goes into every car you detail. Thank you for providing us with a masterclass on detailing!
Watching your videos is such a motivator. I enjoy the full procedure/ paint enhancement vids. You took your time for sure when choosing the combination of pad and polish. It's not one size fits all. I've missed your vlogs, so don't be a stranger. 👍🏻
Missed your videos, Sandro! Glad you are back and what a fantastic job! You are such an inspiration. I learned so much from your videos. Thank you and keep up the great work!
In terms of production values, information, presentation and the end result this video is beyond criticism. Some of the best 50/50s I have seen. The use of captions with the product description is simple but brilliant. If only all paint enhancement videos could be made this way!
Glad when I got THIS notification ❗️❗️ I'm glad your authentic, in both your reviews and as a REAL detailer, it's much appreciated in this climate of UA-camr "reviewers" becoming pushers of their own products disguised as "legit" still...THANK YOU Sandro🙏
Really appreciate the kinds words my friend, I fail as much as the next guy but there’s been few greater words spoken than “the truth shall set you free” and I’m alway trying because it’s so true.
I've been watching you for years and Im still blown away by the level of the finish you get from a one stage process. Most cars I get are soft (and usually black!) paint and I still struggle sometimes with getting that finish to pop with a decent level of defect removed. Every video i pick up a so many little things and store them away for future use. I've always loved the more philosophical bits you've always thrown in too as I think with any hobby you are passionate about those skills and experiences naturally roll into other areas of your life. To me its not just about the action of wielding a polisher about I think a lot of patience is needed is a good thing and i find it very cathartic to do once i get into it. You said towards the end you didn't know if to make a video because its not your best demonstration of the work you are able to do and the level of correction isn't up to 95% that i know you like to go for, but what it clearly shows is the ability to still get gobsmacking results within boundaries that are set essentially by the customers budget and thus the time you are able to spend. I haven't commented for a while but this was one of my favourite videos in all i've watched of yours over all those years as it is like this one was specifically made for the exact cars I get the pleasure to work on. Im not professional but I do like to try and bring that mindset to it and everything else I do especially when I do get the time to do someone else's car. I do it for the look on their face when they come to collect it and see what some time, TLC and some knowledge can do to something they though needed an entire respray. When they get it back although I know its not perfect they don't look at it with the same critical eyes backed with the same knowledge I have. They just see the comparison of what they are used to seeing everyday and you can see they can't wait to get into it to drive it home. I learnt that a long time about DJing too, always chasing the perfect mix - as long as the result is the person on the other end loving it, that last 5% or even 20% isn't something that should take away from the achievement we can only learn and try and get 85% next time within the same parameters and that's what keeps me coming back and the need to continually tweak the process. I think the while thing i like is bringing back something someone else had given up on and showing them what it can be again. its like bringing order to the chaos you've been presented with. Anyhoo long story short, great video.
Thanks mate, I really appreciate the insightful comments and you’re bang on that in the end it’s about transforming a car’s paint/trims and handing over a result the owner hopefully loves - and we as the ones doing the work sometimes get too caught up on what we weren’t able to achieve rather than what we did achieve. I’m so glad this video and job in particular hit home for you, I think it also did for me - was really enjoyable, thank you!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing It was great. Admittedly I'm more Honda cars than Porsche but I love it all the same and you never know what might come in the future but hopefully i'll have some more time again to dedicate to it and get some more cars under my belt. I've been away for a while as the comments suggests you have been too so I'm hoping all is ok with you. The new bit of the studio will be so good when its got all the lines and stuff in it! Very inspirational and cant think of any one more deserving of it.
So relaxing to watch and makes me appreciate the paint correction jobs I do get, absolutely can’t wait to attend a couple of the upcoming detailing workshops in a few weeks
It’s the outdoor shots that always get me. Many detailers will use artificial light to embellish their work…never Sandro. The sun never lies, and that car looks spectacular given the time and budget constraints involved.
Outstanding job, Sandro. I just did a job like this, but in a Pajero Full, 10+ years, rought job but WOW it came out marvelous. Once again I'd like to thank you, because 3-4 years ago you're the one who motivated me the most to start my detailing business. Wish you the best.
God bless you Sandro! It brings me so much joy to hear you give thanks to the Lord for all the blessings he gives us. Another incredible vlog and an awesome result on the Porsche. Stay strong in the Faith my Brother and may God be with you both now and forever, amen. Pax Christi ✝️
Thank you Sandro for your generosity in providing such interesting and comprehensive lessons in this craft. Doing these combinations of pads and compounds on different OEM paints within a client's budget is always a good reminder of how much your experience and knowledge is freely shared and valued. The results on the Porsche looks amazing.
Claying is the most important step in a car detail ,add a good all-In-one polish like uno or 3d speed ,and you’ll be more than happy with the results , GLAD you are back 🎉🎉
Watched it again after the Carpro new product vid. Purely for inspiration and to watch the King at work . Great result Sandro paint came out beautiful, what a difference to that soft paint. New room taking shape . God Bless the King 👑👏👏👏
Great video as ever The postman is back as you always deliver The car just looks fantastic Sandro you make a good point that as detailers we always want to do our best and get the car to that 90 to 95 percent but that come with lots of factors The biggest factor being what the CUSTOMER wants If the customer want an enhancement detail as long as you do your level best to deliver then Thats all you can do Plus you went above and beyond and enhancement detail Which in this day and age is hard to do as price keep going up up ans UP Makes it tough to some little extras for free ITs doesnt matter what road you take There are many paths to the light IN sandro we trust
Sandro, greetings from a half-world away from the great state of Maine. I so admire your work and certainly the results on this beautiful Porsche. I am enamored with every aspect of each step you took but can't help but wonder what a coat of rich carnauba wax would have looked like on that shimmering black paint. Nonetheless... so fantastic! I have always felt that bringing out the best in the accessories such as the exhaust tips and wheels creates another level and dimension to the overall aura of the look and presentation. Your comments about the tips and your customers reaction to the wheels gave me a smile and a nod. yessss!... Continued success. Shine on you crazy diamond! 🚘
Sandro , another awesome one I like the fact that you are so humble. But what a result for a car paint in not a good shape Of course . A real compound + another polish would have been better but results are amazing budget wise You’re a so good film maker Sandro Love your videos 😊
Thank you, I really appreciate the comment. Most detailers and customers don’t have even the budget I had on this car, so I hope including more future videos focusing on just a fantastic improvement rather than striving for perfection will be helpful.
Thank you, Sandro. This was a heavy reminder to me that I don't have to be so hard on myself because there's still minor imperfections under certain light. I need to accept the fact that chasing every imperfection has been a hinderance to progressing further. I'm going to implement this mentality today as I detail and remind myself that there is a reasonable limit to set with how far I need to go.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing - pleas mate don't even mention, one of my daughters is saying now "when will Sandro upload again" - she was so happy to see your work again, BTW she is onlly 9... be well brother
Great video. I’m always picking up something new and valuable with everything you release. Also, bought the Shinemate EB210 after your review video. 10 mths later and it hasn’t missed a beat after countless correction jobs… Keep up the excellent work!
Nice one mate, just watched this on my TV. Had to grab the tablet and comment. I think i would have been a little more excited than the owner when i saw it. 😊
Haha thanks and maybe 🤔 but I think it’s more a personally trait, some customers are very lively in emotion and others are more restrained in how they express that.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing The fact that it's an activity that is grounding, positive and somewhat predictable, makes it somewhat opposite to the current times and content on the internet. The speed of the videos, the music, such a good atmosphere and outcome. Happy for you and the fact that you're able to do what you love!
Damn, Sandro. Such a great episode! So well-done, so informed, so practical in the detailing approach, and so relevant in how you share your perspective on client engagement. Would love to do a Zoom call with you down the road to discuss my horn-polishing project with CarPro UltraCut. That product paired with a wool pad is absolutely shocking in how well it finishes-down on hard substrates like plated silver. The work turned-out amazing, and the kids were so appreciative and inspired before their big marching competition. Under indoor stadium lights, it was ridiculous what those instruments looked-like; almost transparent. Anyhow, I’m so happy you are continuing to document the work you do, because I truly believe UA-cam doesn’t have a better detailing ambassador. Cheers mate!
Thank you mate and very glad you enjoyed this volg and found it informative, appreciate the encouragement as well. Fantastic to hear the brass polishing turned out what sounds to be amazingly well, it’s such a nice thing you’re doing for the kids and school and I can imagine those brilliant instruments just gleaning from the stage. Thanks as always buddy.
Well done sir it looks awesome. I did this to my 4Runner. I get asked all the time by other black 4runner owners how/why my pant looks so good. It took a long time but that’s what it takes.
Really well done, both the boxster and the video quality. Your choice of the short throw is interesting. You certainly got a great result. Im learning from your work, so thanks. One happy customer, it’s funny the first thing mine do is touch the coating. That’s a compliment,I guess.
Congratulations on the new shop Sandro! Glad to see you posting again. 😊 I’m going to use essence with the orange pad on my Lexus to re-coat with dquartz go topped with SiC after it had Glassparency graphene the last 5 years.
@therealmatthewsmith very nice and kind of you to say mate, but in the end it’s always what you do with that info and your own hard work that matters the most!
Great video - bought a black 2010 Corvette Grand Sport last year with 40k miles but the paint is similar to this. Plan is to attack it this winter. Wish you were closer lolol!
Hello Sandro, thank You for all your efford to create this content, love the way You approach the detailing concept. I think that the price You charge is a steel considering the fact You have to pay for your products, power, housing and last but not least taxes. If I lived in de Australië, I would be honerd that You would do my car!! Greatings and love from Europe.
Great video as usual. That Shine Supply product line is fantastic. Love the Cool Guy wheel cleaner. That Solution is strong. It will eat the skin off your fingers if you don’t wear gloves. Also, Porsche black is some of the hardest paint out there. I would guess you put at least 30 hours into this car.
Sandro, so awesome to watch you perform your magic, it looks fantastic! Even more awesome to hear you give credit to our lord and savior Jesus Christ. God bless you and yours my friend, can't wait for the next video! Take care.
God is good! I’m glad I found your channel. Excellent stuff!! What ratio do you mix your IPA? I’m struggling justifying the cost of a premade prep spray when isopropyl can be had for cheap.
Oh yes he’s back woop woop . Sandro what’ve you been doing ??? Missed ya bud but at least you’re here now. Thanks for the vid 😂 I haven’t even watched it yet but I know it’ll be great. Best regards Pete Uk 👍👍👍
Thanks Pete, hope you enjoy it mate and sometimes there’s just not enough time to tick everything off the list but really happy to finally get this new vlog out!
Another amazing and insightful video Sandro. This has become by far my favourite UA-cam detailing channel and to think I only stumbled across it after a mention from Pan the Organiser in one of his videos. Question, how do I find out more info about your detailing classes? I am in the early stages of transitioning from an electrician to detailer as I have moved to a regional area of NSW and changing up my occupation. 20 years of electrical work is enough, time to do something I enjoy and have a passion for. I know you're in Victoria but happy to travel to learn from the best.
Thank you so nice to hear! I’ll give you a link to the classes, the current round we are running is fully booked out but we run about 3-4 rounds each year. You’re also welcome to email or DM me (links to these contacts are on the desktop version of my UA-cam channel) www.waxit.com.au/collections/detailing-workshops?ref=1NNwBEgP4yO4AX
Hi Sandro👍. Have you heard of or ever tried this Korean Car brand products called: Katiba? If so let us know how you liked it and which items did you use?
Hi Sandro great work als usual… I thought essence would decrease the durability of the coating ‘cause the coating can’t bind with the paintjob … just like essence would act like layer between coating and paintjob … do you have any experience with that ? Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Thank you! I always like to base what I do or use on first hand testing and experience. Just about every time I’ve compared the coatings I use over both standard and primer polishes, I’ve struggled to see a difference in durability, performance and chemical or environmental resistance. I was completely sceptical at first but I’ve yet to see any substantial evidence that at least the coatings and primer polishes I’ve used perform any better or worse than using standard car polishes.
Sandro. Hypothetical question. Let’s say if this was Soft paint. Would it be good news or bad news in getting rid of all those Spider Web scratches/ marks removed. I guess I’m asking in your experience is hard paint or soft paint easier to correct? Thanks SANDRO👀👌
It’s much easier to remove swirls on soft paint, but the catch is that it’s harder or a more fussy paint type to finish well without any compounding/polishing haze.
I found your video and technique of applying NV glass really helpful and thats the way I do it now. What do you think about the user experience of G force? Is it much the same?
That great to hear! There’s little denying that GForce is by far the easiest glass coating I’ve ever used. Nv glass is still quicker to apply, but GForce is just so easy to level and really a pleasure to use.
Haha love to do your Maloo, but too much equipment to pack. Maybe back in my mobile detailing days could have done a long trip with the van 🙂 Try Liam at OCDetail in Brisbane.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing you would recommend him legit? I honestly don't let anyone near it unless it's someone with attention to detail like you. And the care for peoples cars.

@@CarCraftAutoDetailingyeah absolutely. I know he would have loved it.
Such a soothing and warm video, made me relax, enjoy the experience and wish I could take care of my car more.
Very nice to hear that, and also wish there was more time to spend on my own cars!
Sandro will always be #1
Great video Sandro, I love it when you drop new content and make a vehicle new again.
Greatly appreciate that mate, thank you!
Black edition👍
love your work
So appreciate that, thank you!
Great video! Greetings from Brazil.
Thank you and greetings right back from down under!
Great transformation
Thank you for the video
Well done sir it looks awesome. I did this to my 4Runner. I get asked all the time by other black 4runner owners how/why my pant looks so good. It took a long time but that’s what it takes.
You’re the best!!! Great job as always!!!
Awesome work once again! 😊
Thank you!
Really well done, both the boxster and the video quality. Your choice of the short throw is interesting. You certainly got a great result. Im learning from your work, so thanks. One happy customer, it’s funny the first thing mine do is touch the coating. That’s a compliment,I guess.
Beautiful job.. again..
Amen Brother!
Congratulations on the new shop Sandro! Glad to see you posting again. 😊 I’m going to use essence with the orange pad on my Lexus to re-coat with dquartz go topped with SiC after it had Glassparency graphene the last 5 years.
Thanks mate and I’m sure the Lexus is going to come out amazing!
@ thanks to your education I have stood on the shoulders of giants.
@therealmatthewsmith very nice and kind of you to say mate, but in the end it’s always what you do with that info and your own hard work that matters the most!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing thanks again Sensei. 🙇♂️
the Chris Fix It of car detailing is back!
Great video - bought a black 2010 Corvette Grand Sport last year with 40k miles but the paint is similar to this. Plan is to attack it this winter. Wish you were closer lolol!
Thanks, I love Corvettes and sounds like a great low mileage find, and I’m sure you’ll do a fantastic job!
11:21 well said Sandro 👍🏼
sandro its been a while mate always enjoy a good video
Fantastic to hear, thank you!
Amazing work, I hope to bring you my own black car very soon!
Great work as always. Could u please link the light and diffusers for the handheld light you're using to check for highspots
Thanks, it’s called the TakeNow handheld flood light. Unfortunately it’s no longer made so I have no link.
Thank you and when I was mixing it I used one part 100% isopropyl to 4 parts deionised water - essentially a 20% strength solution.
Sandrooooo 🙌
Sandro, you should try Labocosmetica 3ph washing system aswell the 2ph Interior cleaning system. I really think you will love it.
It's been a minute and hope you and your family are fine
Oh yes he’s back woop woop . Sandro what’ve you been doing ??? Missed ya bud but at least you’re here now. Thanks for the vid 😂 I haven’t even watched it yet but I know it’ll be great. Best regards Pete Uk 👍👍👍
Thanks Pete, hope you enjoy it mate and sometimes there’s just not enough time to tick everything off the list but really happy to finally get this new vlog out!
TOP!
Hope you enjoyed it mate!
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing It is so relaxing and informative to watch and listen to your videos. Thank you
Nice as always, would have been interesting to see what Carpro Ultracut would have looked like with that pad.
You’re also welcome to email or DM me (links to these contacts are on the desktop version of my UA-cam channel)

Hi Sandro👍. Have you heard of or ever tried this Korean Car brand products called: Katiba? If so let us know how you liked it and which items did you use?
No unfortunately I can’t say I know much about the brand
For crusty old built up emblems what’s your go to when removing and polishing under isn’t on the menu? Bore hair brush and acid?
I did a specific video on that, going through my steps and products, hope it helps!

@ ok thanks for the answer I gonna give it a try ✌🏽
@ Thank you Sandro
I found your video and technique of applying NV glass really helpful and thats the way I do it now. What do you think about the user experience of G force? Is it much the same?
That great to hear!
There’s little denying that GForce is by far the easiest glass coating I’ve ever used. Nv glass is still quicker to apply, but GForce is just so easy to level and really a pleasure to use.
Sandro by chance did you apply the Carpro Darkside undiluted to the tyres? It looked fantastic 👍
Is that a Shine Mate polisher with a bright orange head?
Yes, it’s the new ERO600 V2 - great little pocket rocket machine.
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing very nice Sandro👌
I'll fly you up or the gold coast to do my black maloo.?
Haha love to do your Maloo, but too much equipment to pack. Maybe back in my mobile detailing days could have done a long trip with the van 🙂
Try Liam at OCDetail in Brisbane.
@CarCraftAutoDetailing you would recommend him legit? I honestly don't let anyone near it unless it's someone with attention to detail like you. And the care for peoples cars.
@GrantHorvatGolf Liam is a great detailer, but start by having a look at his pages and have a chat with him to see if you are both a good fit.
