Good video 👍 did mine a while ago , difference is night and day and stops as well as the Jcw brakes (at a fraction of the cost )

Question, after installing your swap did you have to have system programmed? Or was there a code/error light after this UPgrade?

      Although with standard cooper s wheels(on a 2015 f56 cooper s ) the calipers foul and require 20mm spacers front and 15mm rear .

Is braking power really just the size of rotors and pads or does the size of the master cylinder play a part too?

Nice vid! Will like to know is there programming needed after this swap...any error codes in cluster? Also if wanting cross drilled/slotted rotors, I can just get 330 and they will fit right in with these x1 parts on my mini f56 w/o issues?
    Thanks for feedback

No programming required. Just make sure you bleed them out properly. I would suggest upgrading the brake lines while your doing this to save time later. Yes you can fit cross drilled/slotted discs with no issues.

@@tonythowtovideos6691 oh ok sounds good...I was thinking to use ss lines, race brake fluid and stock sz cross drilled/slotted rotor I will be good?! However BIGGER rotors from x1 won't need programming, which is best?

    Good video, thanks!
How was the brake pedal travel & feel after fitting? I'm looking to do same with my BMW F45 and fit 330mm disks up front with 300mm vented from solid at rear but concerned with pedal strength & travel that could need a master cylinder & servo change.
Also, does no fluid leak when removing the calipers?
    Cheers.
Yellow calipers, now that's an idea! :-)

Hello, the pedal feel was firm and the difference was night and day. They obviously won’t perform the same as the JCW brakes, but these are a 1/10th of the price. The servo is more than capable for the job. These are also fitted on the countryman as well as the X1. To prevent fluid leak when removing the calliper. Depress the brake pedal fully and prop it depressed with a bar between seat and pedal. You can then disconnect the calliper from the brake line without losing fluid.

Did your new calipers come painted yellow as they look to be properly painted not brushed with Hammerite?
