What a picture of you in that flowing gown, standing next to a huge tree that has it's roots wrapped around a great big boulder!!! It's a beautiful way to start your day, even if it does rain! 👍 I live off grid and have the same results with my solar. We lose a minute of sunlight a day until the 20th the start of winter. Then starts going back the other way. Yum yum on the cooking 🙂
Maddie and Ellie thank you for sharing the time with us. Enjoyed the cooking part. I was making cookies at the same time. Glad you two of each other. I lived in a converted school bus for years. When it is raining espicially we had a condensation issue. We went to a rv supply place and got this item that helps with condensation. It could be that you need to have the windshield taken out and the rubber replaced and sealed. Be safe girls . Life is so precious when you have someone to share life with.
This was the perfect entertainment for my rainy day on the other side of the country. I feel like I've been living in a similarly hectic time as y'all and am so happy you shared. Lots of love from Washington D.C.

I love your vegan cooking show, such a calming video. It looks so yummy! Some suggestions on trying different ingredients, Basmati rice maybe healthier because it has lower glycemic index (less sugar content). And you may want to try taro, or Asian sweet potatoes for your veggies?

Today is my birthday
Lube the door! top and bottom. grease, any kind of grease (automotive) cheap chassis lube is fine. while you are driving run the defroster full blast to dry that stuff out. it will do it. just turn it often. put the stuff right on top of the vent. only put small stuff on the driver side, it will steam up the window too much. check those holes you unplugged in the window for dirt and clean them out whenever blocked.
I have a Bluetti PV350 solar panel. It produces power even on cloudy days. Thanks for another excellent video.

I highly recommend getting a pizza stone for the oven. It does an amazing job creating an evenly heated space. Also, Larrabee State Park is easily my favorite beach for tide-pooling. And then finally, I'm not sure what your vans electrical set-up is, but Larrabee has campsites with electrical hookups that should allow you to hook up your batteries to an AC/DC charger so you can charge up your house/leisure battery.

Larabee State Park is one of my favorite parks near Bellingham WA. Was first time I ever saw it snow and then sunshine in 1972. The snow sparkled like diamonds in Bellingham. Great college town. You should visit Mount Baker before roads close.

I had a new 2021 pro master and I thought it was just me not shutting it properly. Nope. Those doors suck. I had those vent visors (on the front door windows) and cracking those helped a little with the vacuum suction. Good luck. Thx for sharing your adventures with us.

Yep, our sliding door in our Promaster 3500 is very hard to open and close.
We’re getting ready for a long trip to Florida with our van ( from New Mexico to the Florida Panhandle) to spend Xmas with our daughter and her little family 🥰
Maddie, I just noticed your little knot ring on your finger 😁. 30 something years ago, my “boyfriend” , now my husband, bought a gold one for me(cost around $15) , put it on my finger in the parking lot by his dorms, and said “just between you and me, this means we’re married now 🥰”. To this day, it’s one of his most romantic gestures 🧡

awww heck yeah your around my area. bless. its super chill up here and people are very nice. got lucky it isnt dumping snow like it usually does around this time. i'd say go visit silver lake, baker lake, or diablo lake... super tight spots but could be treacherous if there is snow or ice.
Maddie, I don't know if I've asked you this before: Do you have a second Alternator on your engine that can be a dedicated battery charger for your off-grid systems?
It can be an easy installation, depending upon if you're running v-belts or serpentine. It could solve your "winter power blues".

What a beautiful place to chill. With your drawing skill, you should ask Elli if you could paint a portrait of her. Drawn her likeness fairly accurate, then rough sketch in her hair and the surrounding elements. Just to do it live, and see how it goes. Then take photos of the scene to finish it later… or continue if she’s up for it. Drawing and painting live is fun, you can talk and laugh as you work. ♥️✌🏼🙂

I know that they create a cozy and romantic vibe but those candles make me nervous, especially the ones perched on shelves and ledges near flammable materials. With all the issues you've been having with your van a fire is seriously not something you want any part of. Be careful. You can get LED lights that use very little power and put out way more light for pretty cheap, and power them all from a small power bank that you could recharge at a nearby cafe or park visitor's center for free. Stay safe! 🤗
Luckily, they're both close by and can act immediately should anything go wrong.
Yes! We never leave them unattended and we do have air flow in the van :)

But seriously, one positive aspect of all those short and overcast days is that they force you to turn inwards and not rely too much on external stimulation for mental well-being. Once I got used to it I found it to be kind of relaxing. Just make sure to get out as much as you can, which you're obviously doing. Stay well! 😊

I’m halfway through the video and I’m thinking about the mold you had before on your bedding. Did you buy DampRid to help with the moisture? Also double check under the mattress to make sure nothing is growing under there. If you have a panel you can access, I would look behind your walls to make sure no mold is growing back there. I’m newer to your channel so I haven’t gone back to watch any van tour or build of your video, but depending on your insulation I’ve seen some creators get mold behind there wall and it wasn’t noticed until I started showing from the front of the wall. 🤢

Love your videos! I keep pausing this one to write down the ingredients and measurements for the muffins. In the beginning you said there was oatmeal in the muffins but she didn't add any that I saw. If there is oatmeal how much? are the nuts on top chopped pecans? Please keep posting!!!
