You did a great job showing installation of whipple, this is reason why I have 2.9L on gen 1 coyote. I have 6R80 with 3.31 rear gears and car flies on the freeway. S197 platform is not technically sound vs s550 but, the weight difference and solid rear axle make up for it, squats and hooks. Just turned on alert bell. 👍🏼

I would do exactly the same bro. When I got my Terminator, I waited months to upgrade pulleys so I had time to learn to drive the beast safely without killing myself! lol You want to protect your car AND yourself.
tominator. I remember my terminator. I got the predator tuner with the 'canned' tunes in it!! i put the 3" pulley on it and the wheel hop was so bad i took the pulley off.
I like how those guys are very careful with your car, they look very professional not at all a rushed crappy job. I didn't know Steeda did installs, once I get my Whipple I need to bring it down there too.

I love the Whipple, I love the Roush too.. One observation.. The intake on the Whipple has the spindle and associated casting running through the intake, therefore reducing the swept area of the intake. On The Roush it's rear entry so the swept area is not interrupted. Probably not a deal breaker, just an observation.
Nigel's ..... Good observation!! The whipple has it's limits. Personally i think the tvs 2650 for the 2015-2017 with the rear inlet is the blower of choice. But that blower does not fit the 2018. The whipple seemed to me to be the best choice as the tvs for the 2018 has a great rotor pack but a small throttle body opening. Not good for future mods. I may be proven wrong though. We will see how others do with the roush blower for the 2018. Thanks for posting!!

How do you not like Al? I learned more from this Whipple install video than any other, by a mile.. The 4 NOx sensors, the direct injection fuel rails. A bunch of stuff, Whipple owes you Al,so does Ford and the Steeda shop. I would definitely use them.. I have an 18 Whipple. One piece of advice is to some additional life insurance because your liable to end up a tree hugger. These cars move.. Also you can get a great deal on motorcraft 5/50 synthetic from Carid.com. Under $90 for a case of 12. Great videos now head north and put Michael Mac in the loser round.. if you find out any detailed info on the warranty please share that or make a video. Did you dyno the stage 1? Fixing to do the same thing in a few weeks whipple slow getting sc out. I have a 2018 6speed but added 4.09 gears and headers.

Hey Sammy..It's a great time to be alive!! Stage one uses stock everything. Injectors, fuel pump. Just bolt it on, top off the fluids, Flash the tune and stand on the gas!! LOL!!

hmm. I need to go back to my dealer and have them note it. with only 500 miles, it's kinda upsetting but at the same time I wouldn't have any other car. plus im still stock and have Ford's warranty and purchased an unlimited mile and year bumper to bumper warranty.

Bigdaddytrucker....10K. Not cheap. But got the oil catch can and the upgraded intercooler. i cant see spending 6K on full bolt ons to get 40-60 hp. spent a little more and took a giant step forward and my car is still quiet!!

@Coyotecarguy Having a Kenne Bell LC 4.2 installed, you get a package that comes along with that. After the install, you would get the Mustang tuned, then get it put on a dyno, your Mustang should be well above 1200 RWHP

I was looking for a warranty to protect me in the beginning and then mod from there if everything stays together. I am nervous about these engines. Several people have had cylinder scoring and ford replaced them under warranty. This whipple kit could give me like 800 whp when upgraded maybe more but that is as far as i want to go really. @@coyotecarguy2076 Dang well the kit is advertised at 775 at the crank and 15% loss puts rwhp at 654 ish and tq at 494. Yours seems a little low.

Bigdaddytrucker....10K. Not cheap. But got the oil catch can and the upgraded intercooler.
i cant see spending 6K on full bolt ons to get 40-60 hp. spent a little more and took a giant step forward and my car is still quiet!!

Kev j.... Hey dude!! I did not do any cooling system mods. Not yet! I added about 75 lbs to the front end of this car and i wanted to see what that was like first. Also i want to drive it around a while to gauge what the temps are like. Then i will decide what to do. Thanks for posting!!

Kev j... i did upgrade to a larger intercooler, no fans. radiator and rest of cooling system is stock!! If i make changes i will post a video for sure!!

Having a Kenne Bell LC 4.2 installed, you get a package that comes along with that.
After the install, you would get the Mustang tuned, then get it put on a dyno, your Mustang should be well above 1200 RWHP
SouthDetroit Entertainment...Wow !! Those are big numbers!! Sounds like something that is beyond my envelope. Sounds good though! I was looking for a warranty to protect me in the beginning and then mod from there if everything stays together. I am nervous about these engines. Several people have had cylinder scoring and ford replaced them under warranty.
This whipple kit could give me like 800 whp when upgraded maybe more but that is as far as i want to go really. By the way i did get the car on the dyno at steeda. i will post a video soon!! Thanks for viewing my friend!!

Whipple'd my 2018 Roush Stage 2 Mustang. I too had the stage 1 installed to get the Ford warranty. But honestly looking to upgrade to stage 2. Was not satisfied with the power I got lol. Yall wanna check it out, look me up on IG "luisgarciaa97" d:
Luis Garcia.. Wow sounds cool!!! You know the stage 2 makes more power but i feel more comfortable with the warranty in place. At least for now. these 2018 engines make me nervous. to many of them have ticking problems. I am not on IG! but your car sounds nice!!
