I think this test track could add a mud patch for say a hundred yards to see how all tires deal with a couple inches of mud & how quickly the mud gets released when returning to the wet & dry roads.
I agree. They could have not reviewed the Khumo to fit it in there. The HT/02 is a fairly aggressive H/T tire which is why they probably did not include it. On the other hand that's exactly why 4X4 Truck/SUV drivers like it.
Do these tires or highway tires in general balance easier than All Terrains? Currently looking to switch from my Wildpeak ATs because I keep having to get them balanced and want something quieter
What happens to the tires after testing? Do you have any testing to verify tread wear estimates? Is there really value in 80K vs 60K or 50K warranties?
Thank you for reaching out. Currently, we do not conduct specific tests for mileage and durability on our tires. The longevity of the tires will largely depend on how they are used. We are continuously looking into enhancing our testing procedures, and we appreciate your feedback on this matter. Some tire companies offer treadwear warranties on certain tire models. Navigating and fully benefiting from these warranties can sometimes be challenging. Nevertheless, we have a specialized team available to help our customers with manufacturer warranties. Thank you for your understanding.
Looks like the Conti is the choice for someone who enjoys a sportier experience (single cab short bed). Interested to see snow results. And I'd LOVE to see a comparison of the available sport truck tires on the market.
Not the best on-road tires for the test... but, I've read a lot (in ref to the older LTX M/S model; so the newer M/S2 should be even better) that LTX M/S's claim-to-fame is that it's obviously an All-Season; but, with capability and durability (or very close to it) of real deal All-Terrains, like say a BFG AT KO or Toyo AT. Tested in very sharp, rocky conditions. There's tons of old blogs/threads about them if you search... with users using them for tens- or even hundreds-of-thousands of miles off-road. Fun fact: the LTX M/S2 are produced in the same factory as BFG AT KO2/3s. So you'll be getting the same build-quality, materials, technology and perhaps durability too. Would love to see testing of these "All-Seasons" in real off-road conditions; to see which is most capable off-road and as an "occasional/weekend All Terrain."
Thank you for sharing your opinion with us. We are sorry to hear that you are having a hard time finding tires for your vehicle. However, we would be happy to provide a recommendation. In order to do so, we would need to know your vehicle's make, model, year, trim level, and current tire size. Additionally, we would need to know what you are looking for in a tire, such as wet traction, dry traction, comfortable ride, etc. The more information you provide, the easier it will be for us to find you an ideal tire based on your preferences.
apparently Goodyear Weatherready car tires are available in size for the '23 Toyota 4Runner.(17" tires) If the 4Runner never leaves the road or drive on snow, are those car tires okay?
We recently featured the Goodyear Assurance WeatherReady2 tires in our Premium Touring Tire Test, and they exceeded our expectations, emerging as our top choice overall. You can watch the test by clicking on the following link: bit.ly/49DERnX.
Would love to see the Yokohama, BF Goodrich & Toyo tires handle this test next. Thanks for the data.
I was also hoping the Falken HT02 would be on here.
Thank you for your comment! We wish we could test every tire, but unfortunately there has to be a limit just to keep a test manageable and consistent.

We are always looking for ways to improve our testing and will be sharing your feedback with our team!
Great test! Thanks for doing this 👍🏻🇺🇸 I just wish you’d included the Falken Wildpeak HT02

You should do a comparison test of the Pirelli Scorpion AS3 versus the others in that category.

We are so happy to hear you enjoyed the video! Thank you for your feedback.
I had to pause at the 0:33 mark, then think this is like a Brady Bunch episode starring tires.
😂
what are those wheel specs? nice fitment. Would like a comparison featuring Pirelli scorpion AT
Might look at Tyre Reviews channel. He did a decent AT comparison recently.
The Wheels are 17x8.5 ET35 Method MR703 in Gloss Titanium.

Michelin will lose customers of older trucks and vans as they discontinued the 15 inch size. It is affecting my shopping for my newer vehicles.
