I've watched a ton of youtubers draft this format but the way you describe your constant stream of consciousness is incredible, really grateful for it! (Even if you did kick my ass in straight games at GP Birmingham many moons ago!)
Yay love more MH3 drafts reminds me of your March of the Machine drafts so creative and I learn so much! I also show these to friends to demo how incredible the draft format can be!
the game of mouseing over your cards on arena is so real. so often when being thoughtseized the opponent will take the card i keep hovering on even when it’s completely wrong
Might be a minor thing but one of the things I love about your content is that you have the subtitles available it’s hard watching the channel fireball stuff cause the subtitles aren’t always there or are just the auto ones rather than what your actually saying and it just makes watching so much more enjoyable ❤
Nyxborn Hydra gives (and has) reach as well as trample! Pretty sure the correct line at 33:20 was bestow the hydra X=3 and then Stump Stomp the Solstice Zealot. In fact, the game looks pretty winnable from that point to me.
Fun deck! In the final game on the last turn you could have cycled the Bountiful Landscape for another redraw for Deem Inferior. (I always forget the Landscapes have cycling, it comes up so rarely.)
It’s a much bigger player pool, on mobile, and likely newer players. MTGO has more old school players that have been playing the game for awhile. MTGO is simply not as easily accessible as Arena, and thus has often more experienced players that are going to make less mistakes.
I love the draft format, but I'd appreciate it if arena wouldn't flood me out every game I play. The last 4 drafts I've been in have been 0-3 because I've drawn 13 lands every game for 9 straight draft games now. I'm playing 16 lands too. It's pretty unreal.
This is the first set in recent memory that I can't stand watching draft videos of because I have had so little fun drafting it myself. I had so much anticipation for MH3 with how much I loved MH1 and MH2 draft yet I find the format incredibly unfun to draft and play. Largely I do blame Writhing Chrysalis, the card ruins limited games. This is often fine from the rare or and to some extent uncommon standpoint but to have to see it so often every draft sucks the joy out of it. We've had unbalanced formats before with power rares ruining limited for me (Innistrad Crimson Vow) or sets where the power between colors is incredibly inbalanced (looking at blue in most limited sets these days) but nothing as sever as this. Wow. Just wow. TLDR Please post less MH3 videos and more cube or flashback or wintston or anything else because I love watching your content daily and can't stand watching this set.
yeah, this set sucks to draft for sure. i still enjoy watching the content though. it's just one of the worst balanced draft sets in recent memory. color balance is just so bad. gruul or boros or bust is not a fun format.

realizing that you can target them with deep analysis is a pro move right there
I used to do that frequently in the worldgorger days of vintage.
It's actually come up for me multiple times already. A lot of big board stalls in this format.
It’s not a completely hidden mode at least since the game prompts you to choose a target, unlike most newer draw spells.

Loved that first game. LSV put it best, old templating makes for interesting gameplay. Too many modern cards have the bowling alley bumpers on

The lack of respect for Collective Resistance in a Nadu deck is crazy
That card has killed so many turn 2 Riddle Gate Gargoyles

We recently had a snapping voidcraw in our back yard (we live by a marsh). We had to borrow our neighbour's dog to scare it away.

I'm done watching the draft and deckbuilding. Let's see if the nonbo of Altisaur into Wumpus ever comes up.
One could say the third game, running the Snacker like that, he was cookin'
Missed the opportunity to call the video 'Much Nado About Nesting'
would bouncing the safekeeper not have been the safer play? (Ik the play you made worked out, but it was only because they forgot it existed)
cool draft LSV. thanks for the content
Absolutely love the MH3 drafts still going ❤❤❤
I think this deck was more of a Nadon’t versus a Nadu
imagine getting p3p7 stump stomp, p3p8 assault. what is going on in this pod?? lol

I'm not trying to be a jerk but players on Arena just make such big misplays, like, all the time
Almost as if they were human 😮
I'm glad we have another believer for the 'all player's on MtgO are high level bots conspiracy'

Spoiler: There was nadu Nadu-ing.

i think writhing shouldn't have had reach, and the reach slot given to repurposer instead

Love your content! Toooo many adds tho 😢
