Hi Andrew, every project you do turns out beautiful. I didn't know you could purchase a timer for a bathroom fan. I learn something new with every video. You have an awesome channel.
Oh Andrew! U made me smile! THE second I saw u slowly screwing n those screws, I knew exactly what u were doing! I had an excellent maintenance guy that was determined NOT to work for me because he wasn’t sure he could work for a woman. I knew I needed him and he was top notch! We talked for about 15 minutes but he kept shifting closer and closer to my office door. I thought all was lost. Finally, he agreed he’d give it a try, then he whipped out his, ever present screw driver, and straighten the screws n my light switch plate, as he said- I just can’t stand THAT! My OCD heart melted on the spot!! U r the only other person I’ve seen do that!
I heard from a professional builder that those little screws had to be in the identical position (either horizontal or vertical) to meet code. Whether that’s true or not, I’m all for it! 😃 Congratulations on the great report from the inspector! 🏆 You’ve done a fabulous job. It’ll be enjoyable to watch the continuation.
here's a tip when putting on door handles before door stops are installed, simply put the door hardware box on the floor where the door stop would go thus creating a temporary door stop itself.
I used to have a big problem with USPS not delivering packages. A new mailperson was being lazy and it got taken care of ....eventually. Glad to hear about your C.O. getting nominally approved! I am looking forward to seeing your new house become a home.
Just do your thing Bud you Rock at getting it done. Never worry about content or what your putting out there for us to watch! .Me personally I'll be back every video to watch and see your progress and just all around great attitude and personality. If you just inspire 1 person in all of this yall have succeeded. BOTH you and Tiffany our a blessing from the good LORD for all of us. Continue to be yalls regular selves. Thanks again for all you do.Blessed be!Everything looks fantastic.
Those self moving screws can be fixed with a little blue loc-tite. 😆 🤣 😂 Then them gremlins can't mess with you. Great looking handles and I like that fan switch. List it so I can get one and the toilet paper holders. That lifting up was cool too.
Do me a favor, I can no longerist links from my phone through Amazon. Respond to this comment so I can remember to list those items tomorrow from my computer. Thanks
Looks great Andrew, tip on installing pulls/knobs. Scrap piece of wood 3-4” x 8” or so long held tight to back of door or drawer front to back up as you drill- no blowout. Take care
Kind of someone to send the hardware jigs! Those handles really complement the design yall have. I love the fan timer! Ingenious! Enjoyed it my friend.
Great video! I really enjoy watching your videos, I really love the way you do the blocking and thought ahead on all of those things. I hate constantly having to put in anchors and replace anchors for things like towel rods and such. Also most importantly you put your TP rolls on the right way!!!!!
What a great video. The handles really make the kitchen pop. Congratulations on almost getting the CO. you are in the home stretch. It looks like you will be able to move in before Tiffany's birthday. We can just hear that sigh of relief.
I'm happy to hear FedEx isn't being a pain because a package is set to arrive on Friday via Orlando. Hope it gets there without any problems. Sounds like the punch list is quickly going away! The handles on the cupboards look nice!
LOL at the screws slots straight up and down! Wow... I thought I was bad because I go into people bathrooms and put their toilet paper on the roll correctly if it is not (over the top!) but now you got me looking at screws, and they are ALL out of whack here. Dang it...
Andrew: 1. Glass upper cabinet next to door… an outlet in it. Bottom right corner. What are your plans … for that ? 2. Congratulations on the CO when was that date? Monday? Or Tuesday? -- remember an earlier video where you said to post your guess for the CO date. Who won & whats the prize?
I don't officially have my paperwork for the CO, I was meaning all inspections are competed. I have outlets in either side of the sink cabinets for future under cabinet lighting.
I always line my screw heads up too. Unless it's at work and I come across something that someone else did poorly or sloppy. Then I do my best to make it right but I just leave the screws whatever way they end up so it doesn't appear to have my name on it.
I'm fairly certain you can clamp a block to the back of what you are drilling to prevent blowout. Might save you some time in the future, mark your holes, clamp, and zip right through.
Thanks for the video! I am glad you guys are in the endgame for the House! I hope your Jury Duty went well. Suggestion on the bed from personal experience, I learned my lesson here and have to have the floor in my bedroom touched up when i move. When you build your bed frame, make a way to attach it to the studs inside your walls. This prevents a lot of those even minor movements as you get on and off, that leave little scratch marks on the floor as the floor posts or rails wiggle around on it.
I like to close the seat before flushing. I seen a show when I was a young kid show the particulate that comes out of the toilet all over everything.... Including your toothbrush, it freaked me out 😳😳😳
