I like the soft close on the drawers. I also like that the drawers fully extend.
Yes Andrew those drawers close Great. 👍
I’m so glad I ran across this video I’m getting ready to do my kitchen and I was looking at where to get my cabinets. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Nice cabinets. Been watching your homebuild for a while. "Routing" vs "Routering".
That was so interesting thank you really like the new ones I just shared with my neighbor who was over today talking about new cabinets
Love the new cabinets. You gave the company free advertisement with a review with integrity. Pays off to be honest. What a sweet blessing for you and your wife. Now I can't wait to see them installed.
Andrew, the owner reaching out to you proves he is an honest man and proud of his company. You did an extremely professional cabinet assembly and demonstrated how to easily assemble the cabinets by yourself. Phenomenal job and the cabinets are gorgeous. Take care and God Bless.
As a family business, we value each and every one of our costumer’s. Thank you for the kind words, we appreciate it!
We have the same cabinets and love them! And yes, they were the cheapest we saw, but quality was so much better. Did have a few issues with ours but after a few calls, they made it right.
I will give the company a try the next time I put in some new cabinets for myself or customer.
I am sure the owner also watched your Diy Icemaker series. He knows that you do your research and that you're professional and honest in your videos.
Love the kitchen cabinets. I haven't been able to watch your videos lately. I had a total knee replacement Dec. 29th, You can guess how I spent my New Years. I really missed being able to watch your videos and your live stream.
This shows the integrity of the cabinet manufacturing company. I would highly consider Lilly Ann if I were to do a kitchen remodel
I’m about to purchase these. This is exciting they are easier to assemble than other rta
Looking forward to the install! Great review and checking them out now
Love my soft close toilet seat too. Also love my kitchen. All stainless steel "Tracy brand" cabinets and cup boards. My kitchen is 1942 original. Never any problems with fit, finish, or anything falling apart.
This is an important Video! To be able to SEE the difference via amateur assembly is invaluable. I would be “re-budgeting” for the higher quality cabinetry for sure. I bet that this Company would work with you on that. Nice job!
WOW, how awesome. It just shows, honesty is the best policy. so glad the company got to see an honest review. What a difference between the two grades. Can hardly wait to see the cabinets up.
Please take care and be safe
I have to say I am very impressed by Lily Ann. I will remember this company when I replace my cabinets. Good quality well built good assembly and a company that stands proud of their product. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing the cabinets installed. Stay safe
Thank you! We look forward to possibly working with you in the future 😄
that was a wonderful job and explanation of past and present Cabinetry. you obviously know what you're doing and are proficient with tools, I could expect nothing less from you Andrew
I can't wait to see more, also your installation of your wall cabinets .base cabinets it's all tricky but you got it dude 👍🔨📐📏
I am so glad the company reached out to you...you guys deserve a blessing like that!! The quality looks amazing! I remember when you first started to build your house and I prayed for you guys and thought "oh my what a big project" and I asked God to bless you...and that he has!! Your place is looking amazing!! Great job!!
Thank you Lucinda! We take pride in helping each and every one of our costumers in any way we can. God bless!
Wow beautiful cabinets. You deserve to get an upgrade for being honest I’m glad to know there is honest company’s out there also. We will look at these ourselves as we get to our kitchen build. Very nice! 👍💞
Honesty truly pays off. Good of them to do that and was a win win for you both!
That’s why I watch you because you tell it like it is , always! Beautiful cabinets too!
Those new cabinets are beautiful, and YES, you WILL love the soft close doors and drawers!
Congratulations Andrew. Those soft close mechanisms are awesome. Hope you two install them in the kitchen.
I sure like the way the cabinets assembled. Solid wood is a great advantage with this manufacture. I hate partial board! I’m definitely using these on my future kitchen remodel. Do they have bathroom vanities and cabinets? I can not find any decent vanities. Even the expensive ones have partial board.
Great video. Thanks!!!
I do see on their website that they offer some vanities, I think it depends on which style cabinets you choose.
Hi Dave, we sure do have bathroom cabinets and vanities! Feel free to check our of website/ give us a call if you have any more questions
Nice upgrade and thanks to the cabinet company for offering you the opportunity to show off their product line, looks like a win win situation. Great review by you.
For my kitchen remodel I used Home decorator cabinets from Home depot .. considered semi-custom. similar to yours but fully assembled. all plywood construction. The one thing I got was ALL the bottom cabinets were ALL DRAWERS. So much easier than reachin style. All the drawers were dove-tailed and used BLUM under-mount soft-close sliders holds 75lbs each slider. I like the detail of your new cabinets.
That's great to hear the box stores offer better built cabinets. What is usually in stock is junk when I've looked at them. We have more storage than we know what to do with 🤣
Wow, such a blessing. What an awesome turn of events. Sounds like a great company too if they're willing to go to that length. Enjoy!
Those glass front cabinets are beautiful!!! I've always wanted some!!!! Thank you for making this video!!
Hi Betlor, Feel free to check out our website and get a free 3d design and quote if you’d like to see what the glass front cabinets would look like in your kitchen!
Congratulations..Win/win for you and Lily Ann!! You recieved a superior product and Liky Ann a honest and positive review. Your ability and attention to detail is so worth watching for any potential new build or renovation project.
Maybe Habitat for the other cabinets?
How about that. A company owner reached out to you about some concerns that you had. That says something about the products company. Well done Lily Ann.
That's pretty stand up for Lily Ann Cabinets to do that. If I were in the market for cabinetry, I would consider them for my purchase. Mainly because the owner stands behind what they sell.
Thank you for the update and review. That says a lot about a company that reaches out. The new style cabinets do seem to be higher quality. I think it still leaves something to mention that even if a customer doesn’t have the budget for the higher quality ones, that means the hardware problem would still be an issue? Doesn’t seem like that was addressed. I understand there are higher and lower grade cabinets, but either case, they should supply them with the proper hardware. I can promise you he won’t be sending me a new set if I had issues. Know what I mean?
Apparently I received some mixed older cabinets due to low turnover rate in the warehouse. That's why I had a couple of different bracket sets and some hardware issues. So yes I guess the risk is still there depending on how much of that inventory needs turning over. What I can say is they overnighted me the missing hardware on the last cabinets, and that was before I posted a UA-cam. So they did remedy the problem problem before ever knowing I had a UA-cam channel.
@@TKCL I see. That makes sense. That’s good they recognized it and overnighted it. Well, thanks to you, he probably had them go through each one of those sets to make sure they had the correct hardware. 😀 I’m still pretty comfortable purchasing from them. I got my samples within a couple days. That was impressive.
I could clearly tell these boxes were factory sealed and so was the hardware packs. I actually wound up with extra screws and hardware this time... Go figure 😁
Nice , very nice I’m 100% sure Tiffany loved them to .. Mom always said it pays to be honest and this here is a prime example of that . Happy for you both and I can see a very nice looking kitchen in the near future. Lily Ann you rock ..
I am SO tickled for your upgrade! U will love those soft close! N our old house, that I designed the kitchen upgrade, I included a true lazy Susan. I also rounded the counter top corner to accommodate the Lazy Susan which gave me a more graceful space. I loved it and miss it terribly n my new house.
Impressive! Never heard of
This company before...I.need
Cabinets in my 36 year home
After kids have grown and left.
I will check them out!!!! No partical board sold.me....though real butcher
Block and granite were similar.
Andrew you can sure tell the difference in the quality from the previous cabinets. I would say a very good Company to deal with. I am so glad it went to your favour. The pain you have taken in a premium build I am glad your getting the better cabinets. Take care. 🇨🇦
Very nice cabinets. Will be looking into this company when we get started building. Another great video.
Those new cabinets are so beautiful! I'd pass out and fall over if Tiffany says she doesn't like them! I'm very impressed that the owner of this company called you and sent out more cabinets. He's one of the good businesses for going up and above for their customers which is seldom seen these days! Going to share to facebook for sure!
We take pride in making each and every one of our costumers as happy as possible. Thank you Crystal!
Congratulations! You're entering the YT phase where you start getting "free" stuff for the advertising value you provide to the company. That's an awesome milestone. I know you put a lot of work into your videos and it's starting to pay off.
Thank you very much! I get offers daily, but it's very rare I accept anything unless I feel it fits the channel or provides entertainment value to the viewers.
We couldn’t be more thankful for Andrew’s videos! We love rewarding good and honest people!
Andrew, you've changed my mind on new cabinets- for years I've thought that I would need to strip and re-stain my solid oak cabinets. I've hated the cheap crap I see in the box stores & specialty stores exceeded my means. Never knew companies like Lily Ann existed. Sweat equity we have in plenty! And we can get a quality product within our budget! Already building savings for the planned remodel. Like you, debt free or really close to it is our MO.
We sure do exist Tracey! We take pride in our quality and helping our costumers in any way we can. We have cabinet lines for every budget! Feel free to get a free 3d design and quote from our website if you’re ever interested!
What I love most with the soft close on draws is they extend 100% out making it easy to access the back items
That is wonderful news for you all. The new cabinet fronts look a lot nicer to me and all of the changes from hardware to joinery will make a huge difference in the life of the cabinets. Great job and congratulations on the upgrades.
Fantastic job! Love to hear the owner cares enough to reach out personally. That means a lot these days. Will keep them in mind when we remodel our kitchen later this year, your cabinets are beautiful and you make it look easy to put them together.
Thank you for the kind words Sam! We always try to help each and every one of our costumers in any way we can. When you are ready to remodel your kitchen, get a free 3d design and quote on our website!
Excellent. Andrew. It’s nice to see your videos paying dividends for you. You deserve it. You present all of the products you’ve worked with well. Hopefully the other brands will reach out to you for exposure. I’m a Lily Ann fan now!
Hey just a little tip on the lazy Susan door you may want to put a guard or something soft on the corner of the door where it touches the cabinet we have the sam set up with white cabinets and it’s marked our other base cabinet where it’s hit it
I didn't show but these come with large rubber bumpers that keep the door from making any contact.
The cabinets are beautiful It is heartwarming to see a company reward you in some way for being such a honest human being, they obviously see what the rest of us see in you Andrew
I, for one really appreciate your honesty and transparency, I admit I have stopped watching and even unsubscribed to a channel before because of the clickbait it just felt like they were being dishonest and in a way deceitful… I prefer to spend my online time watching a genuine, real, and honest video like yours ALWAYS are
Thank you for never using clickbait and always keeping it real
Thank you very much! I absolutely do my best to not give in to the click bait titles or thumbnails.
I say this every time I watch your videos that I have no idea how your channel isn't bigger. This is my favorite channel on UA-cam. Love this series and will be sad when it is over. Great job and keep it up!
Excellent video Andrew! Those are some nice cabinets as well. I will remember Lilly Ann in the future. Nice job!
Happy for you and especially Tiffany to have those great cabinets. Now you can tell your wife you provided top quality cabinets for her ( it was, after all your skills that earned the new set) :)))) It was about time you got something!!!!
I truly appreciate your recognizing his value and giving him an opportunity to prove his skills which we all know he has been blessed with. I pray that you prosper in the future:))@@LilyAnnCabinets
I would purchase the Lillyanne cabinets after how well they treated you. I love the color and quality of the cabinets.
Hi Andrew....Just a suggestion for you. After our house fire in '91, the contractors installed the wall cabinets before installing the base cabinets. Was easier to work with a stepladder and supporting the bottom of the wall cabinets as the guys could get closer to the wall without leaning over the base cabinets. Just some food for thought. Love the better quality of the cabinets. If I ever replace my kitchen cabinets, I know where I'll be looking
I agree wall cabinets is the correct starting point for multiple installers. Working alone makes me think outside of the box. I have something special planned for cabinet installation.
@@TKCL I think that since you are going to be working by yourself you will have to install the base cabinets first so you can use them to support whatever it is you are going to use to hold up the uppers. I have been a DIYer for a lot of years. I was planning on making my own cabinets for the kitchen and bathrooms but am rethinking it now.
You are correct on the install approach. Assembling cabinets is one thing, building them from scratch would be a major challenge.
The new cabinets are beefy and beautiful...old ones look pretty good as well. What are you going to do with the other ones you've put together?
Excellent tutorial. I sincerely appreciate the time you take to demonstrate the finer details. Thank you!
Love the video. I am happy that Lily did right by you. The new cabinets look great and I am sure the both you and Tiffany will be happy with them. I agree with two of the comments already posted. Even though the drawer bottoms aren't solid wood they should be allowed to float. With changes in humidity wood will expand and contract. Also you and Tiffany really should rethink granite countertops. They look great when new but you have to be extremely careful about what gets on it. Hot utensils will burn and chemicals(thinking about Tiffany's awesome sauces) will cause stains. There are man made products that mimic granite but eliminate the problems. You are doing an awesome job. Love watching the videos.
Yep enough people have scared us with anti granite comments, we are definitely going to look at the man-made stuff. Thanks!
I was impressed with the first set, and I'm really really impressed with the new set. I wonder how the soft close drawers would hold up to my wife slamming them shut after I make one too many smart-ass comments about using the smoke detector as a "pizza is done" timer? 😉 Looking forward to seeing them installed and what your countertop, sink, etc will look like. Also, smart move Mr. LIly Ann Cabinets Owner... this channel will continue to grow, and Andrew's house build will be watched by many home builders for years to come. You should get a ton of business from this exposure. I know where I'm buying new kitchen cabinets from. 👍
@@TKCL She always watches on ROKU, so the comments aren't visible... I was born at night, but not last night! 😂
@@TKCL Crap. Tack it on to our fire pit bill and I'll settle up then. A small price to pay... #HappyWifeHappyLife
Thank you Dan, we couldn’t agree more! And speaking from experience, the self close should hold up pretty well😉
Great video. I've been doing woodwork for 20 years and the only thing I would say is not to glue in drawer bottoms just let them float. That allows for them to move with humidity and temperature changes and not split. Plywood splitting isn't that likely but I have seen it happen.
He is correct. Don’t glue drawer bottoms or any panels surrounded by a frame. I do like the cabinets. They seem to be a fine quality cabinet. Anyone would be proud of them.
This video couldn't have come at a better time. We got hit hard by Hurricane Ida and having to gut and rebuild. I'm going to have to take a look at getting some of these. They look well made and if they ship to me all the better, especially with the pandemic firing back up. Be great to avoid as many showrooms and salesmen as possible.
What a great video for Lily Ann Cabinets. What great advertisement for Lily Ann.
I like the "higher end" cabinets much better, however if someone were on a tight budget the "builder grade" cabinets do appear to be decent quality as well. I would not shy away from them based on what you have showed. I completely agree with you on the press board. Any furniture or cabinetry made from that stuff is usually only going to last a few years before something breaks. Great job.
I like the new cabinets. Way easier to assemble! That's awesome they sent you the upgrade. Can't wait to see them installed. House is coming together good.
Perhaps you could consider donating the first set of cabinets to Habitat For Humanity and taking the tax write-off. It'd be noble :)
Use some of the other cabinets in your laundry room and closet? (if you don't already have cabinets in the plan for the laundry and closet) maybe a few wall cabinets in the loft? A couple in the tornado shelter for storage? Just an idea.
I have a friend that has reached out about the other cabinets, he is going to use them.
Hi, Andrew! What a nice surprise. Much better quality cabinets. You two deserve the best.
Hi andrew i’m a long time follower and I sent your video to the family member who contacted you. I’m glad something good came about for giving honest review! keep doing what you do!
now you can sell your video how to put the cabinets together to the company. and he can sell more cabinets. be bless and love the home.
Great Video Explaining the Cabinet Assembly and the Higher quality line that they sent you. Next Lily Ann Should give you a Discount Code for anyone ordering Cabinets from your channel so they can Track.
How did you keep the glue from oozing out and making a mess.
Andrew that is why I like about your channel and channels like yours. Honest, straight forward, real life problems. Shoot you even show your funny mistakes with your bloopers. Keep the great videos coming. God bless
Glue gets out often, that's why I keep a roll of paper towels ready to go on the bench.
maybe the builder grade could be re purpose in the laundry room, pantry or even in a closet, thanks for the info !!
Man that was as awesome video Andrew. Those cabinets look really really nice and easy to assemble. That was an awesome Story by the way. What I really like is that the owner of the company took his time out to reach out to you. A lot of business owners would not do that & to take the time and go out of his way to reach you that really says something. & all you did was just keep it real on your Channel about being honest. Well I am going to get back to shoveling this 8 inches of snow we just got & get ready for this 3" to 6" in of snow we going to get tomorrow night. Good video You take it easy buddy.
@@TKCL you don't want just a little bit of snow? It'll help keep you cool down there and you won't have to run your AC you stay cool.
@@TKCL man I was hoping I could send just a little bit down there so you can do some ice fishing. But okay I tried to send it up north. I definitely don't want it because it's interrupting me wearing my flip-flops.
Thank you Mack! As a family business, we like to do things right. Treat others the way we’d like to be treated, and with honesty.
Like the look of these cabinets better than the other ones nice easy installation good video of putting them together
I just sent my husband a link to this. We bought big box cabinets 4-5 years ago and they look awful already...peeling and just scuffed up. We need to replace them in the near future.
I can vouch for the longevity of these, but the current models seem very well built and reasonably priced compared to the big box stores.
@@TKCL solid wood anything has to be better than what we have. The laminate is peeling off the cabinets in front of the sink. urgh
That's awesome looking. I really enjoyed watching the cabinets build. They look 👍🏽🇺🇸🇺🇸 the soft close looks awesome but it took awhile for the bottom drawer to close...... It will grow on me I think 🤔🤔🤔🤔.... You should see if maybe they can send a promotion code or maybe some merchandise to give out to your viewers 🤷🏽♂️
The self closer drawer and doors are high end quality features! Thank you for taking an interest to our cabinets
It sounds like the company is a really good one to deal with...I will keep them in mind for when we need ours purchased...which should be fairly soon.
The Charleston version that you got looks very nice...might have to get the same or something near it...I like the design very much.
An excellent idea putting on the toe-kick for the corner Lazy Susan before the bottom...totally snagging that idea when doing ours :)
Thank you Gregory! Check out our website and get a free 3d design and quote or some free samples of the Charleston if you’re interested! We’d love to make your dream kitchen!
Nice!
