I was 10 years old when the murder happened. It was scary to hear my parents talking about the murders. We were staying quite nearby.
How near? I was living in blk 8….. those days play everywhere so any one of us could have been the victim…..
I stayed at that block 12. Saw the SOC and ghurkas came to arrest him. Only got my childhood freedom after he was arrested.

Regarding the victims, I read back in 2016 that the mother of one of the victims fainted every time she heard her child's name. She hasn't gotten over it since the murders

I was 12 when this all took place and remember the hush whisperings between adults, especially since I went to The Risen Christ Church. It really sent shockwaves throughout the country. So many memories of the aftermath. Very sad.
I was born 30 years after this incident took place, thankfully we have dna fingerprinting and nationwide cameras now

summary : Wang Zhi Jian bought fish for her wife Zheng Mang and daughter Feng Jian Yu , however they were spoilt for choices and wanted chilli crab instead of fish and the couples then started arguing , later at night , her flatmates? Yang Jie and Li Mei Ling entered the flat as if nothing is going to happen and it was going to be a fun sleepover since they had done this a few times , however Wang Zhi Jian when he couldnt sleep at night and went to the kitchen to cool down , however he saw some knifes and stabbed both Zhang Meng and her daughter Jian Yu , but after they stabbed the 2 , they chased after the other 2 , Yang Jie ran out of the room and tried to hang outside the kitchen bamboo pole holder and Wang Zhi Jian made her lose her grip and she fall to her death . He then chased after Mei Ling where she tried to hide in the toilet but Wang opened the door and stabbed her however shes still alive . Wang then tried to leave singapore , however 1 of the neighbours called the police about Yang Jie’s body and police investigated the case . As Wang was about to leave , they saw the police and he tried to hide inside until the police was done conducting their search , however Wang blood’s was left on a padlock and made the police suspicious about this flat and called assistance to open the door . when the police opened the door , they saw the bodies of the 2 in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom . Wang then confessed he attacked the 3 of them but didnt know what happened to Yang Jie.Police investigated for years and figured out the truth that Wang Killed Yang Jie

I was chatting to an old police officer. He shared many details of the case. Will never forget them. He had this pendant he wore which gave him 'super' powers. As kids we stayed in TPY, few blks away.

I lived in the opposite block back then. According to auntie's network, he had a first wife before that was my neighbour. There was a fine looking son too. The first wife lived with the mother. They use the flat to run majong games. The mother was also operating some kind of member's network and aunties would pay her money regularly. I am not sure how it works. I visited Blk 12 quite often as my classmate stayed there. A spin-off story for posterity

As a Hindu this is an info and it is extremely offending for me(although i completely get the point what this guy is mentioning about this guy) Ma Kali is the enraged view of Ma Sati(the apparent timid goddess) although i dont know the entire story but she was enraged to see demons ruining the sanity of the universe and thus she used her limitless powers to stop the demons and bad people(that is why she has a skull necklace around her) and she was about to destroy the entire universe when Baba Shiv came in his path and lied down in front of her to which she got embarrassed because of stepping on her respected husband and thus stopping her to destroy the universe. Ma Kali would never support smn like Adrian or wtv the name is.

I was a teen when the Adrian Lim murders occured and was scared even to go to Toa Payoh. But years later I met Agnes' sister. Hope she is doing well now.

@SneakySushii....Hi, maybe next time you can visit Galang Island near Batam Island. There is a former place where Vietnamese refugees lived and some of them took their own lives. Long time ago, i heard it quite seemed creepy. But not sure for now.
