I haven’t watched you and your sister in years. I think it was my granddaughter that used to watch you. She just started her first year of college. I can’t believe you’re married and having a baby!!!! CONGRATULATIONS to you both.
My husband caught all three of our babies!! He tells everyone it was so cool and I honestly loved it and felt like we did it together. Would highly recommend!!
I've had 3 babies unmedicated. The best advice i can give is don't fight the contractions just relax and welcome them! Good luck! You've got this! Baby will be here before you know it ❤
My unmedicated birth ended up in an emergency C-section with no spinal block (due to the fact it was emergency) PLEASE if anything starts to go wrong towards the end don’t fight it thinking you can do it naturally. I was so stubborn for my natural birth and couldn’t regret it more! Just sharing the other end of the spectrum of what could happen ❤
I had an unmedicated hospital birth 6 months ago and it was great! Having a birth playlist was key for me. When I hit transition I was blasting birth affirmations and was able to stay in a calm mental state. You really have to surrender to the contractions - they’re a wave. They come in, crash, but they do go back out 🙌🏼
This sounds so similar to how hospital births are here in Ireland! midwife almost always delivers the baby and medication is entirely optional and very much promoted as so,as well as the fact that many women don’t even stay a night in hospital and go home the same day with their baby, so excited and so lovely to hear you talk about your birth plan and such a positive and encouraging light ❤
I don'g want to upset you, but I want to respectfully share somthing with you. My friend chose to have her son at a birthing center & her uterus ruprured. They had to call 911 & she was rushed to the hospital & into surgery. Hysterectomy. Please be safe. You can choose to labor without meds, at the hospital. A hospital birth allows for immediate intervention if any complications arise...for you or baby boy. Wish you all the best😊
As someone who delivered at a birth center attached to a hospital and then had a home birth the difference is night and day! Laboring in the comfort of your own home and then recovering in your own bed makes a world of difference. Every contraction and wave brings you closer to meeting your baby. You can do hard things and it will be SO worth it. I also fully agree with keeping it to just your birth team for the labor, delivery and golden hours. Let your family come visit when you get back home. Soak in those precious moments as you become your own family ❤️
I've had 3 unmedicated births. My 3rd baby I labored and delivered on my hands and knees. It was soooo much easier than on my back! Also, when you hit the wall that you can't keep going, have hope because that means baby is super close to arriving!
I love the idea of just you and Dakota in the birth room. I feel like this is such a beautiful, bonding moment for both of you and the baby. It’s a moment that’s soley yours ❤ super excited for the family after too ofc! Such a big support
Nothing about having a baby goes to plan. Try to be open to change. So many are angry after when they have a plan that didn’t happen. Don’t build it up in your mind, live it as it comes. A healthy momma and baby is best regardless of how it unfolds.
Good advice. My birth went completely different than I imagined but I know that I tried everything I could to have the birth I wanted, I am just so thankful for a healthy baby in the end!
I had an unmedicated birth 3 years ago with my first baby and I’m planning to do the same with my next baby (due in March)! Seriously would do it again in a heartbeat, it’s such a cool experience! My biggest advice is don’t have expectations for when you’ll go into labor (before or after due date) or how long your labor will be. Everyone told me that as a first time mom I would go past my due date and have a super long labor (average 15-18 hours I believe). But then I went into labor 9 days early - my water broke (no previous signs of labor AT ALL) and I was holding my daughter 6 hours later! I planned to labor at home for as long as possible, but ended up leaving for the hospital 1 hour after my water broke because my contractions immediately started at 3-5 minutes apart. I was in transition while in triage, and I only pushed for 15-20 minutes! I was so prepared to go past my due date and have a long labor that it all just really took me by surprise 😂
You two are so cute. I love to see how much you guys have grown together and how you're making all these plans for your baby. Best wishes and congratulations 💙💙
Yall got this!! As someone who started show signs of pre-eclampsia, I didn't have much of a choice but I don't regret my choice of Obgyn since I chose her at a Women's only center/hospital, so I felt safe and comfortable giving birth there. You'll love that golden hour. That was our favorite! And we didn't decide on a name until our daughter came🥰. Yall will be Rockstars!
I had two unmedicated births. One at home and the other at a birthing center. Both good but also very different experiences. I don’t regret for one second doing it unmedicated. Best experience ever letting your body do what it was made to do, and having your baby naturally!
I’m from the UK and live in the USA. Midwifes are the ones who aid you in giving birth in the UK but I’m not sure where you heard everywhere else it’s common to have a midwife and not be medicated?! That’s very much not true. The USA is by no means not the only place where a medicated birth is common, epidurals and midwife’s are common everywhere. Also, unfortunately if you are high risk for any reason you can’t be at a birthing center. You have no choice but to go to a hospital for birth, it doesn’t mean you go to a hospital just because you want to be medicated. My midwife will help me give birth in a hospital due to the fact I have a bleeding disorder
I delivered my first baby at 36 weeks my water broke at home. I had my bags packed at 32 weeks I was scared id go early so I probably jinxed myself . you got this Brooklyn and Dakota !!!! Prayers for a healthy rest of pregnancy, birth and postpartum
Thanks for sharing about this. It's not something I hear a lot of influencers choosing but I'm excited for you and hope it's a smooth and safe birth for you and baby!
I gave birth to my twins unmedicated i was scheduled for csection at 38 weeks but gave birth to them at 37 weeks everything that have happened was so fast like boom my water broke then next thing in knew they were already out plus both of them are breech witch is crazy I’m just thankful everything worked out just fine they just turned 10 months old the other day. Goood Luck Brooklyn have a safe delivery of your baby boy 🥰
I had my baby by water birth at home 4 months ago. It really wasn't that bad! I'm really excited for you guys! 😄 Dakota should catch the baby! He won't regret it, it's so sweet and natural 😊
Thank you for sharing this. I know everyone has their opinions in motherhood. 🙄 It's so inspiring and empowering for women to know that this is an option!! I'm soooo proud of you! And btw, Brooklyn, you might feel in the moment that you want to catch him! 🥹
So excited for you!!!❤❤❤❤ I pray that everything goes as planned and that baby and momma stay healthy ❤️❤️ I can’t wait to see your birth vlog❤❤ I am so happy for you that y’all decided to go unmedicated❤❤ y’all are making awesome decisions as parents ❤❤ y’all are going to be a wonderful Mom and Dad to this baby❤❤❤❤ Congratulations 🎉🎉🎊🎊
I did it unmedicated, my body did it all on its own and it is the best feeling! I praise people no matter if it’s medicated or not. If baby comes safely it’s all the matters isn’t it😌you will smash it!! I can’t wait to watch your journey with little one. I also wanted a water birth but it just didn’t happen but I was similar to you in not minding whether I did or not, it just sounded that little more relaxing! I love that you understand that things can change and you have to be flexible as it means you can never be disappointed but I feel as though our plans are so so similar! Other than the fact I wish more than anything I birthed as much as I could from home but my waters looked red so I had to stay in😭but I am still so so proud of my birth anyway. You will do incredible no matter what happens lovely! 🤍
I would also suggest 'Delayed Cord Clamping'. Apparently, clamping the umbilical cord after a minute has many benifits such as improved iron to baby and reduces the risk baby needing a blood transfusion. Plus more. Very common here in Australian. Im not sure about the US. We generally give birth at a hospital setting with midwives...yes multiple. I had 5 when i pushed my baby girl out, haha. We can see a dr when requested or if theres a complication. Also theres no shame in needing pain medication if you cant cope. That was me. After hours and hours i gave in. At first i was disappointed that i failed. But looking back i listend to my body. I got some rest and had a great labor with no complications. My pain tollarance is low. I expected very bad cramps not the back pain, haha. Good luck! You’ll do amazing!
Recommend getting a tens machine and birth comb it was a saving grace for my natural birth! As well as research the jabs and eye ointment they give after birth so you can make an informed decision if you want them for your baby or not ❤️ All the best for your birth ❤️
My parents did the same thing where you don’t name the baby until you see him/her. My twin sister and I came out and our parents switched because Sam looked like a Sam more than a Katie 😂🩵 I feel like when you know, you know :)
Brooklyn&Bailey I really like watching your videos on your UA-cam channel I really like that you&Dakota did UA-cam video of about your birth plan. This baby is going to be here before you know it you got this.
Giving birth in the US seems so much more complicated and so much more planning than in the UK! Here, at least where I am, you’re automatically assigned to your local midwifery team where you go for regular appointments to check your growth and urine and blood etc, we also only have 2 ultrasounds, one when you’re believed to be 12 weeks and another at 20 weeks, you only get more if you’re high risk or pay for them privately, once you’re in labour you just make your way to your nearest delivery suite which is normally within hospital grounds and you’re just left to labour however you want to with a midwife who’s assigned to you but they won’t be the same midwife you’ve been seeing for your appointments, given pain relief only if you ask for it, an epidural only if you ask for it and as long as everything is all ok with you and baby you’re discharged to go home as little as 6 hours later no matter what time of day or night! I’ve had 3 babies now and all 3 have been completely different but all quite fast, my first was 8 hours, my 2nd was 2 1/2 hours and my 3rd was 2-3 hours! Good luck Brooklyn, you’re gonna smash it and I am also very jealous right now because although each pregnancy was worse than the last nothing beats giving birth and holding your baby for the first time! ❤
I loved your video from the beginning to the end. Keeping Brooklyn and the baby and Dakota in prayers🙏🌈💚💖🩵 God bless Brooklyn and Dakota and both of your family’s and all of your family and all of your friends. Lots of love and blessings to Brooklyn and Dakota and the baby and both of your family’s and all of your family and all of your friends, your family from UA-cam🙏🌈🙏🌈💚❤️🩹🩵❤️💙🤍💖🩷💜💛🧡🤎🩶😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ve never given birth but I seen a video recently where someone had shared their best tip was to not tense up during contractions as it will make it worse and to simply just melt into them! idk if that helps!
Hey girlie - my first baby was early - don’t just run with first babies usually Come later. Sending you the best of luck , first birth out of the hospital can be very scary (this is not to scare you of course / it just is kind of scary because it’s the first one ya no and you don’t know anything ….

I had the same experience. You can prep as much as you want and sometime God has other plans
Same here I labored for a total of 40 hours (32 at home) and ended up needing a C-section.

I’ve done it all. Emergency c section, natural birth & a medicated one. You got this girl 💖 just breathe thru the contractions
You two are so cute. I love to see how much you guys have grown together and how you're making all these plans for your baby. Best wishes and congratulations 💙💙
You got this. 👏 I delivered naturally in a hospital just fine. The tub helped a lot! He's almost here. 💙💙
All three of my labors, the 'pushing' part only lasted 5 minutes. Good luck, lots of love and positivity your way 🙏🫶

Hi can’t wait to see when your baby comes into the world. Your beautiful. You & Dakota are a blessing couple. 4 aunts are awesome.
Do you plan on filming a labor and delivery vlog before your baby is born? You all are going to be amazing parents! 💚💚
I think anything pregnancy related that you are willing to share we would all LOVE to see ❤

Delayed cord clamping of 30-60 seconds, depending on the situation (mom/baby health) is standard practice in the US.
why am i literally crying over the idea of bailey meeting her nephew
This is so exciting for you 🥹

I’ve always wanted to be a doula someday! I hope this goes amazingly well!
I can't wait to see the Baby in the videos
I would love to see that video of preparing!
Love you guys and hopes it all goes well
I did unmedicated 2 years ago and 100% will do again if possible if I have another baby!

i’d love to see a what’s in my hospital bag video once you get closer to your due date! 😚🩷

I really like watching your videos on your UA-cam channel I really like that you&Dakota did UA-cam video of about your birth plan. This baby is going to be here before you know it you got this.

I had my baby at 35 weeks my second 37 weeks and my third 39 weeks
So excited
I missed my opportunity to guess the name on the last video 😂. I don't know why, but I'm guessing Grayson 🤷♀️?
I love your videos ❤
When you are there after giving birth, ask all the breast feeding questions and tips
Because two days might feel like forever for lactation consultant!
You should check out pain free birthing! Quite a few videos on YT and more info online.
This feels so not real Lmao, I remember getting used to you guys getting married hah and now this!! I’m so happy but yet crying!! So happy for ya’ll😊
I love guys 💖💖
None of what u said that yall want to happen....will not happen. Ur birth plan will not go as planned, i know u want these things so bad ...but not happening
Big fan of Utah im Jared 34 Brooklyn
Early!!
Idea for laboring maybe buy a bag of nugget ice for labor.
Yay!
Would you ever make your own family channel?
Oh honey do you realize a baby crowning feels like you are being torn open from the inside out. I had a unmedicated birth not by choice
