Another suggestion in Manhattan is Patsys at 118th st and first ave old school little Italy around the corner from Rao’s. Trust me it’s a great pie
you've got to get RnR Canada going. so many great spots, you could alternate US and Canada each month and have international tournaments a time or so a year.
Working on the new place on avenue rd.
Supplying all the equipment from edge resturaunt equipment.
The pizza ovens r massive and top of the line. Check it out.
"he made it special for me" tells you EVERYTHING.
when I know the restaurant owner as a personal friend of the family the food is killer if the owner knows i'm going with my family. i go alone anonymous and the food is average. this has happened to me 4 times in my life. yes, it's shocking and depressing. they roll out the red carpet on quality when they want to. that's why Michelin star ratings are so good, consistency is a cornerstone of that rating system. the owner UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES can know you're an important reviewer.
That's why you tell them you're a food reviewer everywhere you go to eat sometimes it's just so simple everybody knows the rules
FACTSSSSS
Dave,was being "tracked".
Honestly, in this case, I can guarantee you the only thing they would of done for Dave is make it a bit more well done than normal.
The pizza itself is world class, and has always been. It's that good.
@A B Manhattans not really known for 🍕 minus Joe's & John's on Bleeker. You want good pizza in NYC you gotta go to Brooklyn & Queens. Also, Jersey has some amazing pizza joints.
yaa this is the spot. Fave pizza in Toronto. Geary Ave location is in a full on beer hall with arcades and the Kale/Bacon pie is crazy good too.
Dave, as a Vancouverite, I can say if you ever come to Vancouver, you would hate most pizza shops here (a lot of east indian or greek style). Our "best" pizza is a lot of breweries doing Neapolitan.
Hey Dave, welcome to Toronto! Now say Toronto like a Canadian like “chore-on-oh” and say it fast. LMAO
If you’re in Toronto you have to try “Mark’s Pizza” in Scarborough pretty sure it won best pizza in Toronto it’s tremendous 🔥
I think it's better than bleeker I have had both...
Badialis is the best. Haven’t had Mark’s yet. Evidently Conzos is also incredible.
Uh.....Scarborough ain't Toronto. Mark's Pizza is like, a 12 hour drive from downtown Toronto. You need to use a sled and a team of Huskies to traverse the snowy tundra. Fuck that.

The best pizza spots are at local plazas. They usually have a bench facing the window. International pizza down town Hamilton is usually great
Got to love the “recognization factor”. El Prez single handedly bending the English language to his will!!
not sure if your team will see this but great spot to start try Pizzeria Defina, maker pizza, Pizzeria Via Mercanti, and Pizzeria Badiali
probably my favourites living here so far
Gotta disagree.... That seems like an 8.8!
Can confirm it is an 8.9. Tried it this summer while in Toronto and it didn’t disappoint. Right up there with the pizza I tried in NYC
It’s awesome to see you in Toronto so much it’s a great town
Honestly thought it was going to be a 9+ pizza looked phenomenal
Come to Halifax Dave! You must try Salvatores. And Piatto. As well as Yeah Yeah's. There is a whole unexplored world of pies here waiting for you to review.
Based off his overall reaction I thought he’d give at least an 8.9. When he asked how much the other place was rated he must of thought it was in a similar class. So the fact he didn’t give a 9.1 is kind of strange.
This guy needs to head to Cape Breton, Nova Scotia to see the Cabot Trail and try the interesting east coast pies. That would be an interesting series for sure.
I have heard from friends that grew up there it's the best pizza.
never going to happen
When the video started I thought, oh my god! Portnoy is in Toronto. I’ve been going to North of Brooklyn for 10 years after every Jays game. I agree with the 8.4. There are better places in Toronto and Hamilton (The Hammer) but this place is legit. International!!!!!
id say 8.1 but they can be inconsistent, I have gotten a 9.1 pizza from them before tho just depends on who's doing it.
What are these other better pizza places?
Would love to have that list to try out haha
@@sudarsanasandeep3378 Conzo, superpoint, franks pizza house, badiali
I hope ur going to Montreal
Dave knows damn well that pizza is higher than an 8.4
Nah Dave couldn't have nailed it more. I've eaten this pizza, I dont know, 95 times? It's bang on mid 8's all day . Doesnt compete with top NYC pie but still very good
@@mattjohnson4276 yeah 8.4 is a great score. i would eat that regularly and i live in nyc
Come to Hamilton Dave !!!! Go To Shortys Pizza and Pizzeria Flora !!! Oh Dave if your Canadian its pronounced Trona
As a proud Canadian this is pretty special too see. If possible Windsor, ON is a pretty renowned city for pizza in Ontario, would make for some good reviews.
He’s not going to fucking Windsor 😂 give it up already!
@@enjoybagtimer When he enviabley goes to windsor i want a firm handshake and a kiss on the mouth from you as an apology.
@@RedShoesGaming33 why would I apologize? I never said the pizza was bad? I’ve never been. But it’s 4 hours from Toronto. He’s not going this week. Give it up.
@@enjoybagtimer You better hope he doesn’t come to Windsor now. If he does, which he should, you are gonna get roasted non stop. Windsor Is the Pizza City dude.
@@CampariMM can you use your eyeballs? Why the fuck would I get roasted? I’m telling you he’s not gonna go to Windsor. Sure he would like the pizza. That doesn’t change the fact he is not gonna go this week.
I just had North of Brooklyn pizza yesterday. Have to agree with Dave. Great pie.
Guarantee he's gonna go to Pizzeria Libretto and give it a 6.8. It's gonna break my heart.
Will he get the NY style there? Their NY is amazing. I wouldn't touch the other pizzas they have. But it's also a bit fancy with the sourdough which he might not like
way overrated
FINALLYYYY!!!!!!! TORONTO PIZZA REVIEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We love dave in canada
I just flew in from Vancouver. Went straight here. Had the “Killer Bee”. Sickest pizza! Worth the travel!
Dave that was a weak score! That was the best looking pizza ive seen on your page bro! Easily a 9.2
I have waited a very long time for this
