“Some weird dragon” 😂😂😂 no tacos for you sir!
Hahaha that is not a weird dragon 😅 it is the middle part of the Mexican Flag haha loved that you got to thrift in my beloved city. Much love from Az
As a Mexican American, I laughed so hard. Haha
Lol yep the Mexican Eagle and snake
Perrillo 🤣
Came straight to the comments when I heard him say weird dragon when looking at the Mexican flag 😭💀 it’s an eagle 😂👍🏽
I lol 🤣 🇲🇽 ❤️
If you’re still in the L.A area take a quick drive to Pasadena, they have some of the best thrifting in all of Southern California!
Just goes to show that this business can be done ANYWHERE. When I used to do flea markets, I went on a couple of trips to upstate New York and to Iowa and I found things there that I couldn't find here in Alabama and was able to sell them when I came home. I had driven to upstate New York and went to tons of yard sales and my car was stuffed! I got back to my friends' house and took everything out, cleaned it up, priced it and packed it nicely and firmly in my car and I swear there was barely room enough left for me in my car, but I made it and came home and had the best week of sales ever! I sooo wish I'd had Ebay then! This was in 1996, I'm thinking. I stopped at yard sales on the way there, on the way back and while at my friends' house, we went to all the yard sales we could find and I basically bought out my friend's daughter's yard sale. LOL Soooo much fun. I NEED a trip like that again. Also stopped in Washington DC to see a friend and did some "retail arbitrage" but didn't know what's what it was called then. LOL I bought things and used them for a few years, then sold them on Ebay when I discovered Ebay. When I went on those two trips, I was 35 and had a basically new car. Now, I'm 62, disabled and my car is currently in the shop facing no telling what! She, my car, is a 2005 model, so she could never make it to upstate NY or anywhere else for that matter and me.....probably not, but if I had access to a decent car, I'd probably try it. Although I have a 65 lb wild and crazy dog, so maybe not. And one time when I was doing flea marketing full time, I lived in a motorhome and that was fun while it lasted!
But now I'm thinking I should list items for about 10 hours a day every day, get a better car and make one more good sourcing trip out and about, go to Goodwill bins, etc. We don't have a Goodwill here, unfortunately.
Your needing to get a jacket because it was cold in LA last year reminds me of a trick I used to do with my flea marketing. All summer long when it was 100 degrees, I would get nice coats for $1 at yard sales and then on a cold day at the flea market when I knew people wouldn't be expecting it to be cold that day, I would load up with nice coats and sell them for $5-$10. I had a space to store them so it was a plan for each year to sell coats a few times at flea markets. I tried to have my times set up where, like during the weekend before and weekend of the Iron Bowl, I would take all the Bama and Auburn merch I'd found during the year at yard sales. Sold Army Surplus during hunting season, etc. I used to go to church every Sunday and I would wear a "new" outfit each week, sell it during the next week on Ebay, then wear something else "new" the following Sunday. Even if I just broke even, I got to "rent" the dress for free! :) There are soooo many ways to make and save money in this business!
I'm getting so excited thinking of all I used to do. I wish I had the energy to do a UA-cam channel because I have been doing this since 1978, so I do have a lot of cool ideas. Plus, I'm still learning! I just can't hold up to stand on my feet outside in the 100 degree weather OR the 16 degree weather. If only there had been Ebay then! I'd be rich now! :)

The best way I have found to ship things back to me from when I travel is ( you should try it and do a video) Greyhound. Drop it off at the station boxed up. You can negotiate price with them. Then when it gets to your local Greyhound Station they will call you for pick up. You will have your items in less thank a week to my experience. Love your channel.
Wow didn't even know they provided that service.
When you come back to Las Vegas, our thrift stores have restrooms. Also no sales tax because they are non profits. Remember do not to go to Savers.
😂😂😂Whatnot from hotel room - GENIUS!!!
😂😂😂 the weird dragon thing is really an eagle eating a snake and it’s the part of the Mexican flag 🇲🇽 cool finds! Keep it up!
As someone who lives in California I can tell you that the answer to the no bathroom question sadly is usually because of the extreme homeless population. The best place to always find a restroom each and every time is go to Starbucks. ✨️
You like to live dangerously. Some of the most disgusting bathrooms I have seen are at LA Starbucks.
Targets a key for bathroom
What do You mean? Apparently the restroom is outside. The city smells like pee
Fast food restaurants will have bathrooms, some may require you order something for a token to open the bathroom door.
Josh and Hayley!!! These traveling ones are so great !!! I'm so happy you got a cute clip of mose when you are gone !!! He always looks so happy !!! Thanks for taking us along and sharing what you made in profits after fees ! I appreciate both of you!!!

California… my old stomping grounds. Great job running a What Not auction from your hotel room!
Now that was a really cool video! What a great idea! No special extra work to do when you get home and truly you showed it could be done!
Loved that you did a What Not auction from CA. Love to watch you both and Moe's to. He's beautiful!!!
Wow, You two are all over the place. Good for you. Enjoy while your young!!
Thanks!
The profit ticker you put near the end of the video was a great touch. Hope you do that again. Thanks
Cool video! You and Haley rock. Haley is a doll.
What a fun trip! Great video guys!
You guys are so darn good. Well done & ty. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪.
Popped the Frunk! That was hilarious!
Love thrifting in different states! Great video!
Ya'll are just so fun to watch. I am so glad Haley was able to join you full time. Ya'll both have 2 different eyes on things it seems so together you cover everything when you hit a store, the bins, or a sale.
Thanks for another positive and uplifting video!
Modern day treasure hunters!! Loving the video guys. Cheers Kevin, from Liverpool, U.K.👍👍
You guys are great teachers! Thanks so much. Hi from NC 👣!
Oh how fun!!! I wish I known, I'd watch the whatnot auction in real time!
Another great video! Thanks
I know that Goodwill; always stop in when I'm in that side of town.
Lol…no bathrooms! Welcome to California….we normally just go on the side of the buildings out here😂
🤣
A lot of Mexicans watch your videos , pretty sure they were laughing when you said " a weird dragon". 🤣🤣
Great video guys!!!
The weird dragon 🐉 on the shorts 🩳😂😂😂😂 wow! It’s the Mexico flag🇲🇽. I am Mexican and I laughed when you called it a dragon 😂
Welcome to California pricing. Hubby and I were in San Jose this weekend. The pickings were slim and what we did find had little to no profit left. Crazy times! If you find yourselves in Sacramento, I would love to be your free Uber driver! ❤ great content as always!
This was a really cool video, great job guys! Keep crushing it!
Videos are really fun watch always interesting. Like part with what spent and profited for day also thanks for sharing
Mose for president!!! Those Jaco shorts had the Mexican flag on the leg
Guys your shopping in all my stores. Love ❤️ so happy for you
Great Finds! So fun to watch the hunt
Hey guys tganks for content. So cool that you did the shopping in LA. Quick question you mentioned you guys sell on whatnot but do you use mercari to sell?
You guys inspired me to hit my local flea market at 8am today and I bought lots of stuff! Total profit today should be around $400+!!
Love from the bay ❤
wow that sound really awesome congrats
Amazing way to take advantage of being in Vegas. Way to go guys! Thank you for sharing!
Great Video pretty good fines!!!
Loved the whatnot auctions!
Always with the great finds. All those new Nike jackets would have been nice with fall here now. Looked like Mose was holding down the fort while you guys were away.
I sent a load through greyhound and it was very reasonable. With all you could of bought at the place with the clippers sweatshirt it would of been crazy. Different area different styles.
Good idea taking your postal stuff with you and doing an auction.....much easier that way.
FYI You can use restrooms and grocery stores Target Walmart CVS Walgreens etc there's usually a lock and you have a code or a key to get in.
😂😂 this is hilarious because I’m in L.A. visiting family & thrifting, and I’m from South Carolina
Come on hairy tornado!! How could you not tell your flags apart😂😂 made me laugh when yu said weird dragon lol 🇲🇽🇲🇽
Josh I love my Lego Jacket especially the Lego Zipper Pull 😂😂
I'd love to see you guys on the Goodwill Outlet in California. It would be nice to see an episode there.
Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
Thanks Mateo!
thank you! you too!
Thank you 🙏
Thank you
Amen 😢❤
Tuned in, hopefully we can go thrifting together next time you guys are here!!
I’m just over a minute in and your Brilliant Idea of bringing your gear to sell there is a Very Cost Saving measure for Everyone 👍
Thanks for watching!
Big Potential eBay Problem: I woke today to find another of my eBay stores (have 3) was cut over to the new Listing Template and noticed a big potential issue for Sellers. When I used it for the first listing today, I noticed it lacks a Custom SKU block for inventory control. If this is eBay's plan (and not a brief glitch) and they follow suit and remove the Custom SKU data field in the other places it appears (shipping label page, search pages, etc) then many Sellers, who use it exclusively for Inventory Control and pulling sold items each morning, are going to be lost, if their inventories are very large.
Since my oldest store pre-dates the creation of the Custom SKU block, I've always put the bin location in as the last line of the Description. as well as the Custom SKU block. Because I put it in 2 places, I will be able to still find items, just not as easily.
What is interesting about this is that today's version is slightly different from the new Template my oldest store was changed to a couple weeks ago. That version lacked a UPC field to enter Bar Codes. I felt this was odd at the time, since eBay uses Bar Code Scanning as a way to search COMPs and create drafts. When I called, they said type the UPC into the Description block. With the increased emphasis on Item Specifics and search results, it makes little sense to omit the UPC data field.
For years, Sellers have asked eBay to simplify and speed up the listing process, so maybe their solution is to delete listing data, that is useful, to make more room for redundant and useless Item Specifics.
Has anyone else seen this issue yet?
Great job guys 🎉🎉😀😀👍👍❤️❤️❤️
Fun trip and nice profit!!
Wow…I was impressed with the Nike stuff with tags! Great video you two!!
Thrifting in my backyard so cool!!! I notice the Goodwills in Cali been raising their prices tho, i thrift in these same stores, trust me they’re getting kinda outa hand.
Some states, like Minnesota where I live do not have sales tax on essential items like clothing. I did not look up the California laws, but it could be that, or it could be a charity exemption to not have sales tax. You got some great deals.i hope you had a great time in Cali.
Enjoyed seeing a part of the world through your eyes.
next time in LA gotta check out "St. Vincent de Paul Los Angeles Thrift Store" expansive and inexpensive.
In Los Angeles you need to hit the Swapmeets. I find dollar items that sell over 20 to 50 bucks everyday. Tables and tables of Brand New Clothes, sneakers, everything for 1 dollar. Brand New.
3:46 the weird dragon is actually a brown eagle with the snake on top of a cactus is the eagle and symbol of the Mexican flag.
I was just at this Goodwill on Sepulveda just two days ago. Sorry I missed you guys.
Love your videos, Josh and Haley. ( :
Enjoyed it!
Great Video!!!!
Loved this vid.👏🏻
There’s a store in the LA area called Box Bros. that has all kinds of boxes/shipping supplies.
I want a Tesla Model Y so bad! There may be a cheaper version with different battery chemistry coming soon to the USA so watch for that. Amazing trip for you two!
I love yalls video so much ❤
That Patagonia jacket is so cool👍
You have definitely become one of my favourite UA-camrs
Thank you!
I think the next step is to build out a travel van for living/shipping and travel around the USA haha do one state a year for like a month and you could vlog on food, sites, frisbee golf courses haha
Dang! Wish I could have crossed-paths with you somewhere while you were in town!
Heard and saw on news SC got flooded in certain parts.. hope is all well and you guys are safe 💙💯
We're good 😊
LOVE THIS VIDEO!
I love that y’all did this. It’s so good to see y’all making money no matter where you go. Thanks for the great content
Nice trip, good flips
Awesome haul! That pikachu shirt was Japanese Hiragana. Been quite a few years since I've brushed up on my Japanese but I'm pretty sure it says Pikachu haha.
Katakana actually. But yes, it says Pikachu, lol.
ピカチュウ
Thrift stores in California that have a training program or social service component to their organization don’t have to charge sales tax. Goodwill, Salvation Army etc…
R u going back for that rack of nwtag clipper and other new tops!!!! We love u guys. Hope u r home stayed safe in SC!
Hi Guys, great haul. a good profit but (and I mean this positively) you have to add what you will aslo make from this video so all round very a +++
Where did Haley get her wild and crazy kids shirt from great video
Josh and Hayley, you found some awesome items there in LA. That Tesla looks nice, how did it ride? Be safe. Blessings
It was great!
As an LA native not sure which thrifts you went to but my usual routes do not have the stock you guys came across. I cover most of the south LA suburbs. Inventory is low and prices are high. I usually have to go to the next county over to find anything these days.
God bless that puppy dog Moe's and his family.
No tax was definitely a salvation army store thing. We get taxed on everything here in California.
How do you account for your return address when shipping while away from home. How do you calculate the shipping? Do you have to change your address in your account?
❤ what your doing,w ith the sale great thinking:) love your video’s
Hello from Germany :-)))))) ... When I am not sure if there is a stain , I turn it inside-out , because most of the time there is only one colour inside :-)
Can you make a video how you list and take good pictures to make faster sales
$254 in profit really shows how possible this lifestyle is.
You are blowing me away, council thrift shop is less than a mile from where i grew up
0:05 "and movie stars" 🤣🤣🤣
