Love, love, love the smashup! The duo of Kevin and Matt were outstanding with the beatboxing and the bass line. Kirstie and Mitch’s harmonies were butter in this and Scott was amazing as always.

Matt sings in mad world and I think you already reacted to that. I really wonder what's up with Mitch's mustache I'm not gonna tell you what it reminds me of maybe at a different time. You're absolutely correct in that they can just show up anywhere and start singing and produce something like this. You mentioned it in one of the 1st videos that you reacted to. Kevin and Matt look like they're having so much fun going back and forth back and forth with the beatboxing. And yes they literally look like they just went into this gorgeous sitting room with an awesome view and said hey let's have a sing along and this is what they produced. I'm so glad you discovered Pentatonix and I discovered you through them. As always you're very very good at what you do.
Great reaction as usual 😉. One of the many things I love about PTX videos in general is the way they are shot. Whoever is behind the camera does an excellent job of panning over to the person that brings a different element to the song (hard to explain). In other words, how the focus switched to Mitch or Kirsty when they did the bell sounds or how it switched to Matt when he sang "Are you responsible" with his bass voice while you could still hear Scott with his riff or when it switched to Kevin with the intricate beatboxing. I have noticed this with all of their videos and it really helps when trying to figure out who is doing what in a song. I usually watch a PTX video a minimum of 6x to get a different experience. The first time I listen to them as a group. The rest of the time, I focus on each individual all the way through and simply get a different sound experience which to me is what makes acapella so cool, especially when it comes to PTX. After a while it isn't hard to tell who is doing what. Thanks again, you are a hoot to watch. ☺️💞
Okay so Are you that somebody was performed by Aaliyah back in the 90s before she passed away. No Rules is by Dua Lipa. Both songs are completely different genres (one being RNB and the other being Electronic Dnace/ Pop) I suggest you check out both songs as they stand alone in their own right! Great reaction! Keep it up!
I know Mitch has a killer voice, but I'm not sure you give enough respect to the tight harmonies Kirsten is pulling there. It's almost like one voice harmonizing with itself! Everyone else, sounds great, too.

I believe you already reacted to New Rules by Dua Lipa? They mixed it with a classic 90s song ( iconic bass line) by Aaliyah, so that's probably why it wasn't ringing any bells. Both songs are great and it totally works as a mashup! Glad you enjoyed it!
They've had their own Christmas specials and have been guest on various programs on TV ( Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel, etc.) Not much radio, which would help a lot. You can hear them during Christmas in Walmart when they play one of their tracks. Most of the time they are used as back up singers to someone who is a big name in the industry, instead of as a group in and of itself.
That last part is not correct. Pentatonix has been around since 20ll. They have 3 Grammy awards, several gold and platinum albums, has topped Billboard 200, had two television specials, has performed on just about every morning, daytime and late nighttime shows, just sung National Anthem for World Series, was invited by Kelly Clarkson to open the Billboard Awards with her. They have done several World tours. Only the pandemic kept them from going to UK/Europe this year when schedule. They had already finished the North American, South American, Australia and Asia legs of the last tour before the pandemic in March. There's more but I'm tired of typing.

It took a female entertainment reporter telling her that the piercings were pretty and she shouldn’t cover them up for her to change her hair draping over her forehead.

I wonder why it almost always Scott who sing the lead. I would like to have more mix. To me Scott has the least interesting voice of them. He sing good, but the other have something special.
I think they actually share the spotlight very well. I think it’s funny that everyone has a favorite, and no matter how much attention they get from others, it isn’t enough. I’ve heard that Scott’s voice is the most consistent, so for live versions it probably makes sense to have him take lead for longer periods of time. Scott has flat out said that Mitch has the best voice, for example... Idk, I think they all share the spotlight now that the others have become more confident. *shrug* Also, Scott’s riffs give me chills, so I think he’s pretty special. :)

Four octaves, covers the bass when Matt/Avi have solos, gorgeous falsetto, can belt pretty darn high, has more soul than most in his pinkie nail and runs that put even a lot of the best to shame. He’s also known to beatbox here and there in some of Superfruit’s stuff. I’ve read that he takes the lead a lot because he’s most consistent with pitch and stamina. But part of their charm is that they do mix it up and everyone can have their favorite. :) If you want to check out some amazing things that Scott can do I recommend his cover of Red’s “I should tell ya momma on you” or his cover of “Down” from years ago. He’s incredible!

I think a lot of the time, people think Scott has a 'normal' voice so they don't listen that closely to him. However, his multi-octave ability, his SOULfulness and his riffs/runs, no one can compare. And 1 of the reasons I think that vid gets overlooked, because people don't realize how difficult it is to switch between octaves so seamlessly while staying on pitch!
I'm not sure what you mean by “interesting”, because every PTX member sounds unreal to me, too talented😂. They always arranged the song the best way they think. And I think Scott's voice is the most versatile that fit in almost any kind of songs, especially the pop, and most PTX's covers are pop songs.
