Waitangi Day for Pacific People

For most in this country Waitangi Day is a holiday ...for Maori its the chance to reflect on the significance of the Treaty but what does it mean to Pacific people and how they see themselves in Aotearoa.

I don’t see why Waitangi Day should mean anything to people who are not Maori or the descendants of British settlers?
