my first introduction to synth pop was I love you-yello, i had headphones on and that beginning vocoder creepy talking, the tires screaching, her voice and that wobbly bassline, dark stuff for sure. look up LOST AGAIN, SOMETIMES and DESIRE. Fun Boy Three same year our lips are sealed had that dark trippy break with the rasta talking, what a great time it was. nice video, got some more nice releases. I love johnny come home.
Amazing story with Yello that kicked off your Synth-pop journey. Thanks for sharing this. (I think) you presented “Johnny Come Home” in one of your great videos; probably where I got the inspiration. Sometimes hard to keep up with your massive collection. Definitely will check out your recommendations. Stay safe in those deep caves, buddy!
100% agree with you, Dre. The only other LP I have in my collection from this group is 1988's "Introspective". I don't have their 1st LP (think it has West End Girls and Opportunities). But "Actually" is loaded full of synth-pop goodness. As always, appreciate your comments and dedication to my channel.
Thank you so much! I actually purchased some vinyl from Brazil years ago; both E-Bay & Discogs. I see that Your country has released some great compilation CD’s of Synth-pop, freestyle, and electro tracks. More freestyle from Brazil than anything else. I haven’t had the pleasure of owning any Synth-pop from there; nor do I know any artists. Most Synth-pop is originated in UK & Germany. Thanks for watching!
Hello, my friend. I purchased a few records about (2) months ago and been extremely busy at work. Holidays and XMAS prep too. My birthday is next week and my wish is usually record store shopping. My hope is to have a great video on my latest finds (more than likely before Jan. 1st). I was thinking about doing a music room tour displaying re-organized shelves (by BPM's). 2023, I will display a 40 year anniversary of records released in 1983 (another huge year in music). Maybe a video on Razormaid and other remixed EP's. Stay tuned!
Well, I'm glad to hear you're ok. I still can't believe it's December...AGAIN! Sounds like you have your hands full, and the music room tour would make an awesome video. Happy Birthday and Merry Christmas my friend!
Yes, I have several videos over the years which I posted some great Italo-Disco. Still collecting now & some gems in my Want List. Love Albert One, Fancy, Kano, Shy Rose, Vivian Vee, My Mine, Silent Circle, Peter Richard, Fun Fun, & more. This genre for vinyl can get very expensive & rare to find in the U.S.

Pet Shop Boys, is a solid album 🤘 probably one of if not their best albums.

@@klassicjam - sincerely you deserve more subs and recognition 👍
Have you done the TKR VideoCentral challenge yet, 10 obscure releases you don't think anyone else has in the Vinyl Community?
That’s a great idea; need to post a video. Thanks for watching!
@@klassicjam you might want to watch my vlog if you haven't already, I know we are going to have some similar music tastes 😉
Nice buys!
Greetings from Brasil!!!
(Do you know any brazilian Synth-Pop band?)

Hmm I prefer steel and concrete records, vinyl is what records, albums or LP's are made of
Vinyl 4-ever!
