Such a Viking. Loves to compete. Hates to rest lol.
Don’t say Viking
What a legend
the best out there!
Jakob is so good for this sport and will probably only be fully appreciated when he is gone. Great interviews too.
I believe the guy has an amazing range, from the 1500m possibly even to the marathon. There's always a chance of world records when he runs since he runs so hard and fast from beginning to end.
He is a great runner in all his events. Hope he has a Happy Birthday 🥳
Confirmed! Jakob is going to run half marathon in Copenhagen tomorrow!
I think he will only move to longer distances if and when he starts falling off a bit in the 1 mile and 5k distances. Same progression as Kipchoge
Exactly there’s no point right now while he’s getting into prime track shape
Kipchoge achieved success on the track early then completely fell away for a number of years before he found road running....Jacob will move to the roads or try to combine track and road..He will likely move away from 1500m and mile sooner than you think..his strength is his huge aerobic capacity and it will naturally push him to the longer distances...people forget he has been running track 5-6 years already...This a man who likes to compete and challenge himself and will buck the trend of the previous generation when it comes to road running...he is a young man in a hurry
Thanks for the microphone!
Excited to see Jakob back in cross country again! A casual stroll through the fields of Europe part 7 coming soon :)
You can feel they all (so called reporters) get intimidated with Jacob and they cant even ask him a well rounded question ..
they need the letsrun fellas ask the questions. they not afraid to ask some real questions people want to know
@@papaflores3084 agree
He does it so easy. Always looks comfortable running and comfortable after the race. Already wants to get back to training and a new challenge. Other guys interview like they are trying not to fall over and vomit and can’t wait for season to be over.
lol
but jakob does make it look effortless
Would be cool to see him conquer all distances
The Best Super Jacob
Fantastik Run...
What’s your favorite race? The next one.
Lol everyone’s asking about that half marathon and Jakob continues dodging the question. I just want to know!
the answer is basically if he feels good he will do it. He was saying that after he sleeps he will see.
If he feels he recovers enough he will probably do it but if not he wont. He can do whatever he wants since any place would take him to race so probably we will either know tomorrow afternoon or a bit before the race as a "surprise" if he indeed runs.
@@shabbychicken8635 body language tells me he won’t be running HM this week
@@leafulchermasterunner He just announced he will run Copenhagen tomorrow
Summary of the video, he loves to compete
Guys, is he competitive?
sometimes in the life he’s too competitive
2:41 No 😐 Love him
I’m not sure, but I think he’s quite competitive…
Correct me if I’m wrong
The Norwegian will win again! Best ever in my book! I am 25% Norwegian blood consider him a country man!
Does he love to compete?
I think he does
Body language looks like he won’t be running HM this week.
Which I hope he doesn’t, needs rest and time with family
He’s just been confirmed
I think the half marathon will be hard he already was complaining about the 5K
He is going to crash so many records on the track in the next 4 years. Way too early to start training and compete at half marathon!
I think racing a half-marathon at the end of this track season can only help him for next year ..... of course, as long as he doesn't get hurt
Don't be surprised if he moves his goals away from 1500m and moves them onto a 5000m-10'000m combo and then moving into the longer distances on the road sooner than you think...this is a man in a hurry
@@garymanders1273 I don't think so , he loves the 1500/mile and will compete in that as long as he's successful and running fast . His training allows him to do that and be successful at distances from the 1500 to the half marathon . We shall see how fast he can go on Sunday
humm after watching the interview I don't expect he will run
He is running tomorrow. CPH just announced it
We probably won't trust your analysis next time, at least not when it comes to Jacob.
The Scandinavian mentality just always seems so oddly selfish...Christianity never really penetrated there i think because the mindset was not communal, self sacrificing...I do like Jacob though and the Scans...they are just a bit weird...
What a very christian thing to say, excluding and shaming people for being themselves.
@@newyork1401 wow isn’t this great. saying that a group of people have a bad mentality and then claiming it’s bc ur fairy tale never made it there. come on bro what happened to love thy neighbor
@@toastedwaffle8622 lmfao
This is very unloving stereotyping, Jesus died for people of all nations.
1 John 2:2 He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world.
Revelation 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation,
Way to mix unrelated things together. Please point to me to an elite athlete, performing in a non-team sport, who isnt selfish. And regarding to being communal - scandi countries are among the most socio-economical equal contries in the world. I’d say thats pretty communal. And we used to be a pretty religious bunch. We just grew out of it.
I know he is great and will probably end up as the best ever, but gosh, he is obnoxious-ZERO aura. MJ and CR7 were competitive, but you could actually enjoy cheering for them because they had charisma. Cole, Keer, and Naguse have much more interesting personas than he does; you can actually cheer for them and feel happy when they pull off a win.
Bro is talking about nothing
Totally agree. He is very self-absorbed. No comments or kudos for the other competitors. I love hearing from Cole and Yared; they're much more humble and grateful of where they are.
What is bro yapping about 💀
@@katherineschexneider585he’s who he is , and that’s fast
He has the most aura in distance running buddy , when he’s in a race everyone knows it’s gonna be fast
