I have never tried escargot, mostly because I’ve never really had the opportunity. They are like a lot of things that are edible but have connotations that are offputting to a lot of people. Still, you could describe lobster in such a way to make it sound unappealing, and it’s delicious. It often has all to do with how it’s prepared.
Orkney is such a beautiful island. Very easy to get around - you can see it all in a day or 2. Nice views.

I tried my first Escargot on a Disney cruise and could only taste the delicious garlic sauce, the sauce would make anything taste good! LoL

I nearly choked on my small dish of mixed nuts I was having along side a Diet Coke when Leigh said about the snail poo you are braver than me just the look of them in that green stuff it did just look like shreks swamp 🤮 glad you both are having a great time

Loved this vlog. I’m an invernesian. Shame you never got to see and do more, like culloden battle field etc.We love celebrity and are booked on silhouette in March for the Caribbean, done the Equinox before so I’m sure it will be very similar experience.

Guys I absolutely love you two. I subscribed two days ago as I found you from the Costa Calero hotel in Lanzarote as I’m off there in October. You are brilliant and just tell it like it is, no airs and graces and with just the warmth of Northerners. Plus I really wanted to go on this cruise as well but it’s just too close to the Lanzarote holiday.
Nick is so handsome and I love this youtube channel keep up the good videos.
