I’m not sure how close you can get to the Hollywood sign these days, when we went, we were given the zip code of the closest area we could get to.

The Griffith observatory is a must if your in LA. The views are amazing. The tour of celebrity homes is a good one too if your into that sort of thing it does include houses used in films and tv shows too.

Nick I have had the same problem with my feet as you. here is a simple exercise to help you put a can of soup or vegetables or any can that size on the floor and then run you foot back and forth on the can it hurts at first but it really works. I used to do it while watching tv in the evenings. It will take a couple of weeks before you notice any difference but you will find that it helps.
I feel your pain with planter fascitis I had it when we were in Florida in January and it's only now got better, freeze a small bottle of water and roll your foot over it, it's supposed to help
I go to Disnelsnd at least once a year. Usually do 4 days, two for each park. We find you need this to do everything. Also make sure some of those days are on the weekend. In the off season Fantasmic (the best one IMHO) is only offered on weekends. So, at least 3 days. 1 day is fine for Universal if you have the Express Pass.
Make sure your nieces havnt seen this vlog, otherwise they'd know it's uncle Nicks voice as santa lol

I have suffered from plantar for the last 2 years, I'm a netballer, I finally got shut by wearing adidas sequence boost 8 trainers daily and just like that, it's gone! I'm a hairdresser and have recommended to loads of my clients and they have worked for them too. Can't recommend enough. My Fiancé is an elite sport coach and he researched it and found they are the best for it, I was worried sick going to Disney world with it but honestly they cured me. Good luck, nobody understands the pain unless they've suffered it. It's awful. Love the vlogs, thanks for the toothpaste tip in the states, brought loads home xxx

Tip, if you don't eat the left overs put it in the freezer before it gets to bad. And if you wanna throw it away just warm the bottom and throw the whole ice block away.

Gents I just came from my California and here are my tips:
- we did Disney in two days (1 park per day) at peak June time - it was do able & very quiet in morning but it was a very long day. So had to get there first thing and left at the very end. California adventure is smaller and more doable though but if you want a little slower pace maybe 3 days but the parks are nowhere near as big as Orlando and their version of Disney Springs is small
- bare in mind parking is $25 per day
- universal one day max it’s quite small
- Venice beach is wacky a must do
- Griffiths obs is a must (pro tip: don’t pay for parking, if u keep driving and park in the last car park (10 min walk to observatory) it’s free & less congested
- must eat at “Egg Slut” in California
if you want to do most of what you have on your california list you will need more time in L.A. traffic is horrendous. you will spend hours on the freeways.

Leigh you have to give Nick much more sympathy because Plantar Fasciitis is super painful, especially first thing in the morning or if you’ve been resting for a while. It literally takes ages to get better 😞 (months and months not weeks). I have still got pain after about 8 months. Maybe Leigh you could treat Nick to a nice foot massage!! 🦶🏻🦶🏻
I’ve only ever used bags of whole chestnuts 🌰 in mushroom soup (delicious) and veggie dishes (nut loaf) never eaten straight from packet, do you warm them up (hot chestnuts)? 😋
I thought the premiere went very well, and I’m glad to know you plan to do more of them. It’s a great way to get everyone’s reactions to the video and to establish more of a community among those watching the vlogs.
I’m not religious either but we went to Beverly minster last Christmas Eve was really nice but very cold so when you go take a blanket with you

If you're traveling all that way why don't you go and see some other things besides Disney. It's like a Californian traveling to London to see Harry Potter World and then going home. Great start but there is so much more to see.

Hey guys! I've seen a few videos from some other vloggers I watch about the new ruling from coppa which comes into effect Jan 1st,how is this going to affect your vlogs? Very worried as dont want to lose your vlogs!!x
linzi stewart it shouldn’t make too much of a difference as it is just a setting that needs to me made at either Channel or video level. If they do it at channel level then it makes that setting for all backlog of videos 👍
Some of the vloggers have stated that if they tick suitable for children they lose the ability for comments,notification bell and some other bits and then if they dont tick suitable for kids and it is found that it is suitable there can be fined $42,000 per video!! Its got a few you tubers worried! There is a petition going for this not to happen! One of the vloggers was doing this as full time job(has ALOT of followers)has now said going part time and cant afford to be fined,another said may quit! Seems to have them quite rattled!x

I know this is a bit of an old vid, but if you're still struggling with plantar fasciitis, I can heartily recommend the steroid injection into the sole of your foot. Hurts like hell, but absolutely worth it. I went from crying every time I walked to up and about within about 48 hours.
Freeze left overs.
