I applaud Paris and the Hiltons for being so vulnerable bc they don’t need the publicity but they knew this would be major entertainment news therefore spreading awareness of the issue. Paris has handled this quite well and I’ve gained an entirely different perspective of her after seeing her doc.
As a parent, never ever leave your child somewhere where you can't be in touch with them. In rehab, some places have a two-week policy, but anything beyond that, you have to wonder what they are hiding.
My heart goes out to Paris. I blame her parents 100 percent for this abuse. How on earth does a person think it's okay to kidnap your child? To allow men to enter your daughter's room and put their hands on her. Makes me sick.
The fact that it took a camera crew to make her watch her own daughter's documentary on a tortured part of her life (due to Paris' parents narcissistic approach to their eldest) speak volumes of what Paris had to deal with growing up. It took a film crew and a tv show to make the mother watch the documentary on how her own daughter was tortured as a consequence of her decisions as a parent. Read it one more time....
I think her dad's a simp and just does whatever Kathy wants for an easy life and he had her mother "big Kathy" to deal with too and she sounds rancid. Not turning up at the screening screams guilt and shame. If they didn't know when they ripped her out her bed in the middle of the night what the school was going to be like that should have been their clue and put a stop to it right then and phoned the police.

I agree. Her parents, huge business tycoons, are not that stupid to not know what was going on. No remorse from her mom or dad. The trauma will fully reveal itself one day. Paris is a very strong and focused individual. I look at her very differently now.
I'm so shocked watching PIL Season 2. Her mother is a narcissistic monster! Bullying overbearing, u can see Paris is still afraid of her mother. They say beauty is on the inside & kathy hilton is soo ugly inside! She gets away with it coz of all her money peope suck up to her. She's discusting
Her mother knew because she didn’t like the way she was acting so I’m pretty sure she knew what her daughter was in for at the place,and was fine with whatever punishment or discipline was used ,that is why they picked it and didn’t try to help her when she cried for it ,it’s probably the same thing as the parents who try to reprogram their children not to be part of the lgbtqia+ community
No she don't get it. She's still refusing to admit that she was a part of the cause of her tragic abduction and abuses. But she knows now. It'll take a awhile to sink in, if ever. That's her protective mechanism now kicking in to survive and not get stuck in it. We all fall short of the glory of God. That's precisely why we need him in our lives.
I am so sorry you went through that negative experience it seems like your mom wants to be supportive in helping you overcome all the hardship and abuse you went through at the camp even though it was so long ago
