Stefani, your work is beautiful! I’d love to see more videos where you spend a little more time showing different angles of the finished piece. Love your videos!
I love your video doing it on the floor proving that while still budgeting for work bench I can still work and do projects and accumulate money for my work bench
Wow I'm so happy I found you. I watch so many DIY youtubers and while their stuff is great its never perfect because a lot of people rush through things. I'm a perfectionist so I always notice the tiniest things. I can see you're a perfectionist too from your work which makes your channel very enjoyable to watch 😊.
Love it. I appreciate you providing a list of tools for this project. I plan on having my Home Depot guys cut the wood for me. Thank you for sharing. Stay safe.
It all started with the closet DIY video, Looking forward to tooling up and using your videos as a guide! Thank you for well executed DIY tutorials, very detailed, and clear instructions! :)
Tip: try to maximize your textiles when upholstering. Cut only what you need by placing the object to be covered as close to the edge as possible. That way you can use leftovers for another project.
I have watched you do all these great projects in your garage on your hands and knees. Take some time and build yourself a workbench girl. You will save time and your knees will appreciate it.
Thank you Stefani, this a great project, you are so talented and things look simple. I will make one for my house, im actually looking for a piece of furniture exactly like this. Blessings
Sweet. But I think I would put 1 or two frame supporting pieces in the middle to avoid any sagging in the ply top. Also 2 pieces would gives a little support for your frame to stay square.
I was given a handy tip when I made my first bench that I hope will help you too. Use high density 3" foam for longer life and comfort and use an electric knife to cut the foam. I got my electric knife at Good Will for $1 and only use it for foam and crafts. Hope that makes future projects easier. I love your projects and all your BOSS girl power! Nice job!
Christine Brennan I’ll have to look up “high density foam” to see what it is, but how does it differ from what Stefani used here? Is high density foam what memory foam pillows and mattress pads are made of?
High density foam has a longer life and can take more wear and weight than just craft/sewing foam. It is not memory foam. It is much more dense and firm than standard foam and is used in furniture and vehicles. Any upholstery store can get it for you. I used to get it from Hancock Fabrics.
Great job. I think I would have used heavier wood along the length, or a second piece behind the first just to make it sturdier. You could get some cracking where the screws enter the wood if somebody heavy sits on it. But it looks great!!.
Great job! I’m actually building a shoe rack cushioned ottoman for my master closet. Is there anything you can recommend besides the spray glue, to make the foam stick to the wood?
Very nice video, im enjoying your channel and handywork. You should really get a workbench or at least knee guards. Cant be working off the floor for too long
Nice to see how you protector your livingroom flying carpet when spraying. My wife would totally kick me out if I would pull that off, and vise versa. Hope your hubby isn't watching
AT 0:59 WHAT DO THE DIMENSIONS MUMBERSEAN LIKE WHAT IS THE LENGTH? so 3/4" : 11/2" @ 42" AND 1/2" X 2' X 4' @ 48" X 16".... CAN YOU TELL ME WHICH IS THE LENGTH / HEIGHT/ WIDTH FOR EACH OF THOSE NUMBERS? IS THE BENCH FRAME THE EXACT SAME SIZE A THE BENCG SEAT? OR I THE BENCH SEAT SLIGHTLY SMALLER? SORRY FOR CAPS, KEYBOARD NOT WORKING X
Why do men feel the need to offer unsolicited advice? Stefani did a great job without yall's opinions on what she should have done instead. Go do it yourself, guys.
"so many"? 3 out of 86 is not so bad .Anyway, to compensate for the "creepy men" i will now post a non sexist comment: What an ugly, unattractive woman! eeew! 🙄😄

I will keep that in mind, thank you!

I always avoided anything with upholstery b/c I thought I would have to sew, but this vid reminded me I can staple! I will give this a shot, thx!
I use this to make a bench seat, your pictures at 7:49 were especially helpful! Thanks

YES! I'm so glad you notice all the hard work and detail. Thank you so much for watching!!🤗
So amazing, definitely using this to help build a custom window seat pillow
Nice video. Ditto to needing a workbench though. You're a brave woman... Spraying spray adhesive over your living room carpet!
I like it!!! Great job!
This is such an easy and great looking project! Thank you for tip on dealing with the upholstered corners! I've always had issues with corners...
Thank you for watching! I'm glad you found it helpful.
Directions are easy to follow. Thanks
Thanks for watching, Mary!

it's not long enough for it to require any supporting piece...
Looks awesome but I was so stressed when you started spraying adhesive over your living room rug!! Ahhhh
hello I really liked your furniture congratulations greetings

Christine Brennan Very cool! Thanks. I learned something new today!
I love sharing the good things others have shared with me.
Excelente me gustó el trabajo
Boa tarde Stefani, eu gostei bastante desse video, é por isso que eu vou deixar meu like👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.

Very nice love navy.

Dear hubby,
This young lady needs a SHE SHED! She is awesome!
I agree girlfriend!! 🤗 @DevinTerry
@@HomeWithStefani I agree!! Grab a couple Kreg Track Horses. Working on the floor gets old my dear!
Any idea what the maximum weight is given the bench is secured with pocket screws and the frame is quite thin?
It works
How tall are the legs you bought? With plywood and foam, I’m trying to picture exactly what to buy
Nice work. May i recommend a workbench.
Electric carving knife works great on foam
Hi Stefani, where is the rug in your living room from?
Very nice video, im enjoying your channel and handywork. You should really get a workbench or at least knee guards. Cant be working off the floor for too long
BTW - if you have one, an electric bread knife is the best
way to cut foam !
Great vid 👍
How much overhang is there on the material of the bench?
Mmmmmm... lovin’ the leg show!!!
Nice to see how you protector your livingroom flying carpet when spraying. My wife would totally kick me out if I would pull that off, and vise versa. Hope your hubby isn't watching
Next time you need to cut foam...try an electric knife. My sister said it works great. 👍
Ohh that’s a good idea, thanks!
@@HomeWithStefani 👍😎
A serrated bread knife works just as well.
I can't believe you sprayed the glue on the wood on your nice living room carpet.
Please get a workbench for the garage!!!
I have one now! 😊
Home With Stefani I am so excited for you. Now your back will thank you!😀😀

Stefani is a smoke
Quick tip: Next time try a long blade kitchen knife to cut your foam. Long strokes.
Not a very strong design, pocket screws not long enough. Broke after a week. Used 2x3s, dowels, and glue and it's now strong as heck.
Great work. You need a knockdown workbench. My back hurt just watching you
kitchen
Out of pure ignorance....... why do you need the batting, can’t you just use the fabric? 🤪
batting is applied over the foam to prevent slippage and provide a smooth appearance
So many creepy men who must comment on her physical appearance instead of her work.

Why do You walk in shoes in Your home, on carpets.. weird.
Um, you're weird. Carpet isn't holy bro, calm the fuck down, that's what vacuums and carpet washers are for.
