Fue una pelea eliminatoria por el título de la WBC de las 154 que lo tenía Terry Norris y como Norris le huyó a Tito y no lo quiso enfrentar pues Tito siguió en las 147
@@dan32113 Sadly he died quite young. Troy was the youngest of two bigger older brothers who sparred with him for years. In those sparring sessions he took many a head shot from bigger boys. Not to mention the shots taken against Norris. This may have been a contributing factor toward his early departure. May he rest in peace.
Ha. That steel plate didn't help at all.. Lol. A flash knock down is usually from one shot and you go down. That was two shots. First one stung him. Hopped on one foot three times. Tito saw that and smashed him with a right. Kinda bad when you get knocked out in the first round with someone who is a slow starter. Lol
Is that the only 1st round KO youv'e ever seen? It does happen and often, do you think you could of done better do you think you could of trained hard all your life and get to number 1 contender and 2 world title fights, realy is that all you can say Ha
Trinidad is a smart fighter boxer puncher. He kept moving to his left and his opponent ran right into that beautiful left hook. If you look at Waters feet he was on the move and unbalanced when he was hit. Trinidad on the other hand kept him moving right into his left hook and was positioned with his feet planted if you noticed Trinidad always pauses and plants himself to throw his shots so his hips and legs generate the power for that hook. The foundation of boxing is foot work so it's all about angles as well as positioning and balancing. If you know how to tip the scales on a balance you'll see that the weight generated will have leverage. That's why they have weight classes because the weight puts both fighters at an even playing field. Trinidad uses his weight and whole hips and turns that left hook at the right timing when the opportunity presented itself and his opponent was positioned in a moving and motion projectory right smashing into that left hook Trinidad does this to perfection
Tito Trinidad era un gran Campeón unos de los mejores de todos los tiempos lo mejor de lo mejor
RIP Troy Waters
Trinidad had a great left hook he completely twisted at the hip to get good impact on that shot

Sadly Troy died quite young from Leukaemia. This perhaps represents years and years of heavy head shots.
