After a group meet up at Buninyong four of us head to LaL Lal for a bit of dirt riding in the bush. @OzADVRider Tries out my 450 mt and i get to ride the Frankinstrom.
Loving your videos Bazza. Best 450MT videos on the net hands down. The videos are free to watch but it may end up costing me $9500. I have seen the variety of bikes you have ridden / owned over the years, so to hear you say you have never liked a bike as much as this one really carries some weight. Going to need to buy a bigger shed its full already with five motorbikes and a Surron. 4K 👍
Thanks, that's a great compliment to receive. I guess for me this bike is what I really like at this stage of riding life. Can't get enough of riding it.
Your my test case mate, I'm almost convinced to drop the hammer and get myself one but my Dr would have to go so im in two camps atm. Thanks for the informative videos. Cheers
Thanks mate, I surely am testing it out. I also have a dr and tiger, to many registered but nothing is really selling at the moment 😕. Maybe after tax time.
192 kg wet for CF Moto 450 MT is less than Tenere 700 & also Aprilia Tourag 660 as well as BMW F850GS. It's most certainly a lot lighter than the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 which is 196 Kg wet. I thought getting 450 MT off the side stand & actually riding it that it felt quite lite & well balanced. My 350 Meteor feels a lot heavier I thought. Despite the weight the Meteor very capable wee bike even lite off road.
Thanks for commenting, I'll have to look up the meteor. Yea mt is surprisingly nimble and lite feeling. I want to lay it on its side and see how it is to pick it up. I know even my dr is hard to lift.
Thanks, I am in Geelong. Do the otways, Lerderderg, lots around Ballarat. I'm finding this bike so easy to ride. That big front wheel goes over obstacles great.
@@bazz6670 ah sweet, I’m going to do a day trip just north of Daylesford at some point. I’m on a Husky FE501, there are times were something like the 450MT would be nice to ride, especially on longer trips.
Hey mate, What do you recommend for a GPS. Im new to this adventure stuff. Was just going to mount the phone like you have, but people are saying thats not ideal.
The camera/video quality seems poor on my side, but maybe that's just my youtube settings, I'm watching at 1080p but it's very grainy / pixellated. Shame because you ride awesome tracks.
Hi Bazz, Could you please compare it to some known bikes lets say a cb500x or tenere or vstrom so i have a better idea how it rides offroad. thanks! nice videos.
Hi, I was with Bazz on this ride. I've ridden with him a lot with him riding a DR650, V-Strom650 and Triumph Tiger and was a bit surprised how comfortable he looked on this new bike that he had only done a couple of hundred k's on. Hard to keep up with on the rough tracks! 😁 P.S. I enjoyed my short ride on it too.😃
Thanks for the suggestion, I have been trying to catch up with a mate who rides a T7. Love to put them up against each over. Also my brother has a vstrom. If you look through my old vids there are some of us off reading the vstroms. Cheers
Thanks for making these videos it means heaps I e been researching these bikes like crazy
Thanks for checking out my vid. I done the same research watching vids . Then I seen one in the shop and that was it.
Great to see you enjoying the new ride 😎🤙🏻
Thanks, BERT,
It was great to have a ride on your bike, I was very impressed.
You looked very comfortable on it.
Cheers, Ian. Can't wait to do some rides.

Enjoyed the video Barry! Stay upright mate 🙂
Thank you, Petros.
That bike looks like it’s handling everything so easily!!!!
Thanks Patric, it is an easy bike to handle , like a fat dirt bike with great road manners.

Was that near Meridith?
Good video.
Thanks for commenting. Yes, a bit past Meridith

I’ve read two measured, wet weight claims of 185kg and 188kg.
Great vids mate, the 450 looks like a lot of fun and capable. I test road one today and was pretty impressed. What area were you riding in?

@OzzyADV we have been riding up around Creswick lately, lots of great tracks.
Giving it heaps Bazza! If you don’t break it, it can’t be broken. And if it does… it’s damn cheap to replace
Mate, it was asking for it. Won't take long to reach a thousand ks. Maybe a great ocean road ride to Appolo Bay will do it good.

I'm going g to try an old zumo my mate had. The phone is easy, but it can loose signal depending were you are unless you download maps first.

I think it's like that because I uploaded straight to you tube. I noticed it, too . I won't do that again. I do try for the best I can. Cheers
