I love both of your pups! However, Oscar is probably not a Pomeranian as you said but rather a Miniature or Medium Spitz. They're usually bigger than poms and have longer noses. As said, both are lovely, just good to be clear on the variety of the breed. Much love!

Our pups definitely have the separation anxiety. They follow me everywhere. Paul can get up in the morning and they won't leave the room until I'm up. If I leave them in the lounge to go to the bathroom - despite the back door being open for them to go outside, they'll toilet indoors. That's my biggest issue - they're 1 now and they do this.

We got a baby gate for our kitchen to put the pups in there for when we go out. Our bigger pup jumped it :/

Omg no it didn’t!! 😂😂😂 that’s mad!! Can you get an extension to make it taller? If it helps, Oscar is 1 1/2 and has these troubles! That’s so strange that they do that! 💗

Can you keep the door closed during the day and only open it at intervals, taking them out and keeping them out until they pee? 💗

Thanks for sharing, my puppy sometimes urinates if he notices that I am upset, but otherwise he is getting used to it little by little, your two babies are beautiful

This was great, thank you. We didn’t have separation anxiety issues until COVID since we have been home with them so much!

    WELL DONE!!
such hard work you both have put in and I bet many a day you wanted to cry when you saw pee and poo on the kitchen floor. I am so glad he has you both to help guide him and he will get there with time and he will be so happy you gave him a forever home and didn't give up on him. You are both wonderful 💗 stay strong and love each other and your puppies I KNOW the day will come this will all be a memory to look back on and I pray for those silent nights and calmer welcome homes from Oscar 😘 hugs sent your way.🐕

If I just step to talk to someone a stranger selling something and I walk outside by myself and close the door behind me, they will pee behind the door

I have a new puppy pomeranian and brought her in from my home country to the country I live in now. She is quite independent but I fear she'll have a bit more trouble learning because of the big change of living in one location for two weeks and then coming here. She was also a very calm puppy when we got her and now she's super active. Of course, she's also grown but the new temperament is scaring me a little because I hope she won't be as stubborn when learning new things. That's why I've been binging your videos 😅
    One question:
She is now 9 weeks old. Do you think it's okay to give her treats (specializes for training) or it's too early and I should just praise her? The problem is she doesn't enjoy the physical praise as other dogs do. She just thinks I'm trying to annoy her so she starts biting me instead 😬

Hi! Firstly, she won’t mind too much as long as she’s with you! We took Pepi to my parents for two weeks when she was 12 weeks and it was the best thing we did for her. She learnt so much from my family dogs!
100% you can use treats. I would highly recommend it! Puppies are still learning and absorbing so much. Treats are your best friend right now. I used to cut Pepi’s puppy treats up into tiny bits so that she wasn’t consuming too much! Puppies that are so young won’t understand affection as much, so food is your way in. Good luck! 😘

Thank you so much for making the video.🙏Does separation anxiety occur in every breed? Over the past, my different friends with different breeds of dogs have separation anxiety like poodle , Portuguese Water Dog , miniature Schnauzer whereas my two Pomeranians in the past never had a problem with us leaving 😅

Of course! It is definitely worse in some breeds. A lot of the time working breeds struggle with it, because a lot of them spend so much time with us humans! 💗
