My favorite uncle used his mower as a side by side like you. He used it to check and gather cows, check on hay fields, go after the mail, and other stuff due to his health getting worse. Lost him in February during heart surgery. He is missed. Thank you for reminding of his joy of life.

Buggy is a sweetheart and has learned well to bless her food before eating. Oh, that briar is called a saw briar. They will eat you. They are bad here in Kentucky too. I’ve got my fair share of scars left from them. Your getting it done. It’s hard work but it’s so well worth it. I have had the same victorio sauce maker for 30 years, hope she has the salsa, berry, grape and pumpkin screens they make quick work out of jobs that can take all day the old way of running through a sieve.

This Greenbriar Thorn vines are a real pain ... I am 72 and starting my own mini Homestead on 1.2 acres. The place we bought this year was left overgrown ... many Greenbriar vines in shrubs and tons grown straight up into Sweet Gum Trees .. ( double trouble ) I chopped the vines last Feb and recently pulled the tangled mess out of trees last month. What a chore. Always chopping and chipping overgrowth. Enjoy your family videos. Love the fact that the kids go barefoot most of the time. Reminds me of my childhood.

The same with tacos, pierogies, burritos, pasties, .... anything that's a group of ingredients or from a certain cooking tradition has a philosophy. It's a very freeing way to cook!

Ya'll have seriously improved the heck out of that place!! You've inspired my wife and I to start on a MUCH smaller scale what you guys are doing.
A friend of ours has paw paws....we've noticed that they can taste WILDLY different depending on the tree the grow on. They're weird like that lol.
You guys are a beautiful family and we love watching the vids. God bless!! :)

Good day from Kamakura, Japan 🇯🇵! I think those tubers the vines grow from could be mountain yams. 🤔👍🏾

If it were me, I'd dig out & pot up some of the stronger, straight Paw Paw saplings, baby them & top dress them like you do your gardens.
If the root systems aren't too big, & you still have some straight ones, you could pot a few & get them out of harms way.
Seems like they produce many new seedlings. So if you can keep the pigs away, you'll still have many new saplings popping up, over the years to pot up to give as gifts or in trade.
They have pretty leaves & grow in drifts. They supposedly have an edible fruit & can live in my zone 5, (now considered more like 5B to 6). They're probably more common in your warmer zone. I'm not very familiar with them.
I'm just remembering you recently planted some figs. You might try growing some near your Paw Paws. They could form a colony on one of your slopey areas. Preferably a multi solution location, like creating more privacy, blocking a view while also preventing erosion - all at the same time. You could plant them near a larger native to give you privacy. One day you might appreciate privacy,or just enjoy planting a visually appealing arrangement including one - or some natives, taller, maybe a 70' tall tree along the back property line, with some Paw Paw trees & Figs down lower on a slope. They could be snugged in going down the slope, with smaller drifts of berries at the bottom holding the soil back while growing in a fairly sunny spot.
Or maybe you'd prefer to clear right up to the fence posts & leave it open so you can see what the animals are doing along that property line.
You could put in a tall privacy fence back there one day, to keep your animals in, create privacy & also keeping predatory animals out. I keep hearing that more bears are roming around now. Up here in MA anyway.
Those Figs & Paw Paws would be interesting in a big drift with about 3 types of evergreens of some kind with varied growth habits. A conical shaped Spruce or a soft Hemlock if they survived the scale or those other insects that hit the Hemlocks in the South. Maybe you could plant something columnar instead, with the Paw Paw & Figs. You may do best to plant something more native that you find growing in the wild, in your area.
Do you have different types of Cedar in your area?
They'd be complimented by some shrubs with berries, if on the sunny side of a slope. It would be a nice sight if they would all do well under similar conditions with not much coddling from you to thrive, once given a couple years to get established.
You've got hills. That means you can plant trees that like good draiage & choose based upon if the slope is facing East, South. West or North.
A slope helps trees & shrubs & would be the best use possible given your access to unobstructed sunshine.
Flat property is easier but with free trees & shrubs, if you can visualize how they'd look 15 years from now, you can really enjoy arranging areas of forest & cleared land for animals or for growing flowers & veggies to sell. You already know how to make preserved, shelf stable, plant based jars full of food to store.
Using trees shapes land Over the years, with mixed woods areas here & there, you can grow selected companions. You'll have to allow for easy access to the driveway & your gardens of course.
It would be especially nice to have all the best Paw Paw saplings potted & kept safe until later. They'd come in handy if you'd like to create privacy , like maybe down along the back end near your property line.
They supposedly have an edible fruit & can live in my zone 5, now 5B to 6 (calculated to some updated estimates of a warming climate). Some Winters it can drop to - 5 for a few days a year, or to -10. Guess I'm going to have to look their zone up. I'd want to taste that fruit first, too.
Loved at the open, how you used the music when you went around the building & then flew out ( speeded up)
riding on your tractor - is that what its called? I love it. Wish I had one, or something like it.
