    Thanks a lot, what factors should I consider when setting prices for my print-on-demand merchandise to ensure competitiveness and profitability?

      When setting prices for your print-on-demand merchandise to ensure competitiveness and profitability, there are several factors to consider:
      Cost of Production: Calculate the cost of production per item, including the base cost of the product, printing costs, packaging, and any additional fees. This will help you determine the minimum price you need to cover your expenses. Suppliers such as Merchize often price their products including shipping costs, making it easier for you to calculate production costs.
      Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand the pricing landscape for similar products in your niche. Analyze the prices set by your competitors and identify the range that customers are willing to pay. This will give you a benchmark to determine a competitive price point.

    Awesome 🎉 what's the minimum search volume you'd recommend for a winning kw?

      I have a bestseller that has maybe 15 searches/month... but it's because all the other tags/keywords are heavily searched. If it's an incredible item, a low price, trendy... the search volume may... OR MAY NOT matter. It really depends! I would prefer to have at least a couple keywords searched by the thousands, however, I also have listings that I know aren't well searched and I don't advertise those.

    I have not done much with my shop…. Can these strategies work if you shop has been dead for a bit?
    If not, would you share some strategies to revive a shop?

      Of course! I've seen shops that didn't have many items that were in demand add 100+ items and sell thousands of items in a short period of time. I made a video on Etsy sales slumps a couple videos ago :)

    Whats your view with the dtrategy where people create a tshirt listing but add a sticker variant to male it look cheaper, does that really helps?

    • @theteacherandbeyond
      @theteacherandbeyond  5 місяців тому

      Do you mean a duplicate listing where one has the sticker and one doesn't?

      All in one listing, another way is using kid sizes.

      @@LennyYT Ah, I see what you mean; where the price shown to the customer is only the price for one of the items in the listing. I offer listings with many variants, personally. Some of it is a bit much these days though with ppl offering the png file for $2.99 in the same listing... a bit much sometimes!

    How many listings should I publish every day?

    • @theteacherandbeyond
      @theteacherandbeyond  5 місяців тому

      I wish there was a magic number, but there isn't one. If you have just a couple listings, then add more listings that are the best you can make them. HOWEVER, sometimes it's helpful to have a goal, I get it! If you think adding 1 listing a day is a challenge, then add 1. If you think you can add 5 quality listings and still get a good night's rest, then add 5. Some shops have 7k listings and some shops have 60. If you sell ornate handmade coffee tables worth thousands of dollars, then 1 listing a month is probably plenty.
