How can someone sell that 30 x 40 baby blanket for less that what it sells for on Printify? How are they making any money at all? This is what confuses those of us who want to sell them, but can't go in the hole.

Your title says "2024", but this video was aired 2 years ago. Would love to hear your current opinion on Etsy Ads, now that Esty is competing with Temu and the likes and are having trouble accessing Ad spot. My experience now is that Etsy can't spend the minimal ad budget that I have, which wasn't this way like 2 years ago.

I opened my 2nd shop in February of 2024, and now have 5 sales. That said, I know why I don't have more sales ... plain and simple ... I S*U*C*K (pardon my French) at MARKETING. I don’t have a basic strategy and I'm inconsistent. Yes UA-cam tutorials, workshops etc will tell you "What" to do, but knowing what to do and "How" to do it are two completely different things. As I don’t have the funds for some 4-figure course, I have to leverage my time, and the learning curve is, well ... let's just say that the rise is significantly larger than the run. 🙃

There is something you don’t know.. necklaces are made in Turkey / istanbul. They own their own factory, own craftsmanship and silver necklace cost is 4-7$ per piece including labor. You can not beat their price if you produce them in Usa. They leverage from low labor costs and weekly fast shipping bulk.All the silver jewelry market is over saturated with Turkish shops. Most of them are producing in Turkey, shipping bulk weekly to a Usa based partner to ship their items inbound. How do i know? I’m one of them. But instead i sell 14k gold. (I live in US)

I am looking into selling ai image Prompts on etsy but I can't find any definite details within the etsy rule book on whether this is something etsy are fully allowing sellers to do, I know lots of sellers are already selling ai Prompts but I also see shops selling branded products so I know it's not always a good idea to follow others league, please could you advise me on if it is ok to sell image text Prompts please?

Great tips 😊 There is one piece of conflicting old advice i keep hearing. When it comes to listing titles, i think etsy likes it when you use commas between keywords just because it makes it easier for customers to read. But ive noticed only the first few words are shown in search to customers anyway. I was told that if you only use spaces instead of punctuation marks between keywords, you will never exact match for your keywords since your title is a run on sentence. Personally I don't find this to be true. The algorithm mixes and matches your keywords regardless. Also by using just spaces you have room for more keywords. And you can exact match for less competitive long tail keyword strings by accident, just because some words are together in your title and not broken up by commas. All this to say, is needing commas etc in your titles old advice, in your opinion? ❤
