yes we do have that village life too, just wanna say i am so proud of you South African brothers and sisters that are putting money back into the villages, cuz yoh so many mansions in villages now, the tuscany style houses too, people really putting money back into their ancestral lands and its a trend to build these beautiful big houses in the villages, lets keep each other inspired , in our beautiful peaceful villages , and to our American Brothers and sisters, lol might wanna look into those villages in SA too, peaceful beautiful living

Historically, black people of Tulsa is the first generation of black folks who tought us, it is possible, to rise and become anything that you want be, regardless.

I am South African and you are more than welcome, like the US, South Africa is a melting pot of Cultures, Religions, Skin Colors, very friendly people open hearted, but like the US we also got our problems, unfortunately 1% always make life hell for the 99%. Just be wise, stay away from areas you dont feel comfortable, basically, what you won't be doing in the US do the same in Soutrh Africa. I am white and my family has been in Africa for 400 years, and there is something in the air or the water that makes you African, yes, I am African, a White African and I will never be anything else.
Just a tip - when one loves a particular wine(like Chenin Blanc) we identify the particular farm of origin and the year of vintage. Off course you should connect with that farm on the internet ... Many farms export their champion wines ... 🍻

When the lady started speaking, I got goosebumps while I was running an espresso . I got glued to this interview. Before she said she is a communicator I thought wow this woman speak so articulate. She pulls you in. Her husband is a gentle soul.

I appreciate that the kind words and yes she was/is amazing for sure and well said about Mr. Eric. That's a valid question, speaking for us, God specifically told us to move to Johannesburg so that settled that.
Your channel is teaching us S.Africans alot about our country, we complain about everything and given so we have democracy right, but if we were to sit and look and research about other countries we are in the equal with a lot of countries oversees
Americans moving here and sharing their experiences with both countries is a very great way for us to learn and reduce the complains, learn to speak well about our country
I'm in tourism and I had to unlearn speaking bad about my country cause people from Europe would be like oh that's what you call that situation here and they would tell you what they call it in their countries and that's when you realise that media has done alot of damage in putting Africa in a bad light

Potholes, unemployment, unequal society, load shedding and crime
@@mtshedamarunyane5465 Even with potholes, South African roads are lightyears more developed than Naijas. They have far more dusty gravel roads than most Southern African countries. High crime rate is driven by Nigerians and Zimbabweans in the country. Is Nigeria having equal society? Have you been to Nigeria?

South Africa does give a soft landing to the continent of Africa..its not perfect..has its problems (afterall its Africa)..but it does give a tad bit of familiararity )sp) for a majority of Westerners..hence YT folks fill those planes at any given day from Atlanta to the city of Johannesburg (Delta)..theyve been doing it for years..Now its about time Africans from the Diaspora to fill those plane seats...
This video is amazing... You should definitely come here and become permanent residents... Definitely engaged in entrepreneurships projects... Teaching people how to fish will always be better than charity... However charity is always welcome... People sometimes just need the helping hand and dure those children from Uganda are blessed... While South African has a huge inequality gap, we also have a huge growth potential... South Africa is full of young educated Africans sitting at home... We need more Black Americans to come back home... Share their business accumen and the strength of the dollar... it's a winning recipe... So you have something to come back to...

I think it is awesome that the sister is doing a much needed dissertation on those inconsistencies. However, what about the inconsistencies in our attitudes about visiting other countries/continents? It seems like assimilation is welcomed and almost expected everywhere else except in the US...Here we must welcome all and ACCEPT all that comes...

@@eyeforafrikaOr you can just drive to KZN, which is subtropical and the Sunshine Province of South Africa. Durban is 6 hours away by car, and 1 hour away by plane. Many Joburgers have second or holiday homes in KZN, because of the weather and the ocean. Your Zulu lessons will also come in handy there, as KZN is the home of the Zulus.
You might hear some negative news about Durban CBD, but it is better than Johannesburg CBD. However, the surrounding areas like, South Coast and North Coast are stunning!
