Such a homie. Love the straight forward easy info. Good to lead down lots of rabbit holes!
Glad you liked it!
Super helpful videos, great for new growers!
Great to know and thanks for the comment and subscription!
I learn something new in every single video!
Great to hear!
Your laconic style is so refreshing in this business.
Great to know and thanks for the subscription!
Hey Mr.DeBacco Its Becca. Don't think I need this for Biology or for chemistry next year. 😃. I'll watch it anyway to support your channel.
Support of the channel is always appreciated and there are video updates in the works for all of the playlists so be sure to check back and keep on learning!
Thank you for all your videos to help me considerably to my grow here I have nutrient problem and try and figure it out and you have helped me considerably thank you medicine for my back back I broke my back
Thanks great to hear the videos are helpful for you.
Love your teaching style. Keep it up man!!!
Love your comments, keep it up!
2nd time using fox pharm and I'm running into this mid flower
Look at adding a nitrogen fertilizer to your line-up.
This channel has helped me out with my grows exponentially. Now I’m proud of what I grow. Thanks DeBacco, much appreciated!!!
Thanks for sharing and happy to help!
This is such a random video but funny enough, I watch this video instead of any I should've seen for school during it.
More uploads to come for all playlists over the next few months so be sure to keep on learning!
Love the video and content. Thanks 👍 for sharing the knowledge. We need to support one another in OUR growing cannabis community. Much love and respect from Canada.
Thanks for your comment, please help spread the word about the channel it is greatly appreciated!
Which form of N do you recommend for potted plants(peat+perlite mix) NO3-N , NH4-N or Urea-N? Thank you
This can depend on the time of year, but in short, in colder soils calcium nitrate and in warmer soils Urea. Be sure to get both into the root zone.
@@DeBaccoUniversity Thank you for the reply, Professor DeBacco.
@@DeBaccoUniversity 99% of growers and gardeners will never understand this simple advice until it’s too late. Great share thanks
Very good
Glad you found it beneficial.
@@DeBaccoUniversity I did very much thanks I appreciate the time you guys took to explain all of this information
@@michealvega3695 You are welcome!
Amateur growers be like:
“1 spoon might not be enough for this majestic beauty that I have grown, clearly mine need a bit more….”
Experienced growers be like:
“1 spoon?……….half.”
Great transcripts from two different growers;-)
Thanks. Good video
Thank. Good comment.
I have pre made soil. And my plant is growing its 5th node. I notice the color is very dark green and slight inward twisting of leaves. What can I do to lower the Nitrogen in my soil since its pre made with NPK ratios suitable for this plant growth
Add more water the flush it out and/or reduce the temperature of the root zone if it is a living soil.
Love it thank you so much for your time please keep It up. Hazzah!
To conduct actual plant trials takes time and near daily attention so it is nice to know the work is appreciated. Trials on cannabis and tomatoes were conducted. Stay tuned for uploads showing actual plant deficiencies of calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium on this channel.
Bro check the Spanish on this subject:
DIFERENTES TIPOS DE DEFICIENCIAS NUTRICIONALES DE LAS PLANTAS DE CANNABIS
That's some good stuff, ur a clever guy, u'll figure it out. Amazing what u understand if ur passionate about sth lol
Passion can drive many things!

Love these videos they're super super helpful! Thanks!
Glad you like them and it prevents problems in the future for you.
Mass and trace element test please.
Kindly add exact ranges too, if not already done.
Search the channel for other elements discussed.
Great info. What about when it starts from the new grow?
Be attentive, keep records and make adjustments.
I have 3 big outdoor plants. Over 7 foot tall. Doing good and budding. The tops of two of them are starting to go light green. And actually a few of the larger water leaves turned completely yellow, at the top of the plant. Still have a few weeks of flowering. The rest of these monsters are beautiful. What would cause the tops to start yellowing?
Could be iron, check the channel for other potential nutrient issues.
Thank you. I am going to try to add some urea to correct
Hope it helps!
02:49 You didn't talk about clawed leaves. If I'm correct, the lockout of N can do yellow and clawing leaves.
Clawing of leaves can have many possible causes so this is not a good single use visual characteristic for any one issue. (Water stress, pH, light exposure are examples that can cause leaf clawing.)
Professor have you ever seen plants form tips which are made up of what appears to be clusters of little immature leaves where white hairs should be pushing out the first week of 12 12 lighting, they appear to be overdosed on nitrogen and take a week to start putting out pistils. Looks somewhat like broad mite damage too.
Sounds like this is a stress response, so make sure that when changing the photoperiod you reduce other stresses and also consider gradually changing the photoperiod over 3-4 days to go from the vegetative to flowering lighting duration instead of a one day change.
@@DeBaccoUniversity Thanks, I watched your other video where calcium deficiency could cause poor flower formation, I wonder if it could be related to that.
saved my life. can i just use my own pee to correct or is it straight out too acid?
Take a look at this... www.scientificamerican.com/article/human-urine-is-an-effective-fertilizer/
Excuse I have major problem is my leaf's curl up an down top the plant way it flower the leaf's on it curl up an the leaf's in the bottom curl down how to fix this problem need help asp please
What are the temperature ranges and humidity? Is there any additional leaf burn noticed? Where on the plant is this occurring?
Hi, what would you say is the ratio of npk on fish tank water? Mines is none-high-high
Depends on many factors, a water test would be the best so you "know" what is in there and also what the pH is.
Thank you for the video quick question do we use that nitrogen with normal feeding nutrients or do we use it alone can I use it with my nutrients do I add it in the beginning do I add it in the end or is it alone thank you
Nitrogen should be part of a blend, but having a nitrogen only fertilizer is advised to have on hand if the plants need an extra push or it leaches out due to rain (especially in outdoor operations).
Great videos! Thanks for them!
Thanks for watching!
Cool !!!
Thanks!
Could we also use molasses and Epsom salts ?
Yes, but not for nitrogen as there is not enough to meet the plant demands.
@@DeBaccoUniversity Do your recommend using nitrogen in the flowering stage? Thanks very much.
Don't know if your still checking your comments but, I have a question. Any problems with diluted urine (10:1)? Thanks. Sorry for being a little gross. lol
DeBacco University does its best to reply to comments posted which takes some time away from content creation, but an important part of building the community. Diluted urine (assuming human) can be ok, but often contains pharmaceutical contamination that can accumulate overtime. Essentially this is in part what Urea is based on, but in short there are "better" sources of nutrients than urine.
@@DeBaccoUniversity Thanks so much. So glad I found you. You videos are great!!!! So many, too. Please keep it up. All my best.
You are welcome, be sure to share the channel with others;-)
Thank you

Back at you :-)
What can we do if we added slow release nitrogen soil like miracle grow. i started using that before i transplanted to fox farm soil and now it looks like its really a toxicity
Realization of what was done is an important first step, followed by not adding more nitrogen that may be part of other fertilizer blends. Also, keep the amount of water added on the high side to aid in flushing out excessive nitrogen from the root zone. Other than this there is not much you can do, just make notes for the future so it does not happen again.
I have a cannabis deficiency
We all have problems, the key is how we deal with the issue;-)
