Zeba bakhtiar did great job raising him..such a humble man and eloquent in speech and such a sorted person as son and father.
As someone who has been criticizing this guy since Ishq e Laa was announced, this interview has been eye opening. It has made me draw the line between Azlan and Azaan and while I have many issues with the drama, I've come to appreciate Azaan as a person in this one hour and it has taught me to maybe hold my judgement on people online. I'm grateful to this platform for bringing this interview to us and making us see that Azaan Sami Khan is the kind of person we need in this industry.

For me Azlan was a show stopper!! I simply enjoyed his acting and watched the drama because of him, though I thought the direction and editing part needed a lot and a lot of improvement.
@@madihakhan72 Well, everyone has a different opinion and perception of these things. To me, he seemed too hot and cold and just plain static at times and it irritated me but it got better towards the end and I was definitely rooting for him in the last few episodes

A very humble, grounded, multitalented, well spoken and a well mannered person! Those who say star kids get more chances, you have to be a person like him to stand out in a crowd. Loved his music now equally excited for the work he does in front of camera.

He’s actually really poise and charismatic, I think he just gets nervous so those qualities don’t always shine at first. I think the more he comes on air and has interviews he will come out of his shell. It also speaks volumes that he is already aware of his weakness and admits that he still has a long way to go for this growth .

I think I have come to a very deep realisation here. He is a man, who is a son of Zeba Bakhtiar. He lived a hard life and yet his humbleness is profound. I think as a nation collectively we need more men like him who think, perceive and perform. In life or on camera.

While his acting at the start of Ishq E Laa was far from perfect, by the end of it I think he found his place and it was actually good. Especially for his first project. He will only get better with more experience. He seems like a lovely person and very humble!

The most underrated aspect of this play which touched everyone the most is Nadeem sahib's role and the messages he gave for personal growth. Adding that track to drama was a great decision. For Azlan's first acting stint, his performance was at par, and did justice to his role as we all bought into it. If someone disliked his role or how finely he was portraying that, it goes to show that he acted very well indeed! He is brimming with talent and whatever he touched turns gold due to his talent and sincere efforts, and of course God's blessings! Wish him all the best in future too esp., in music and film productions.

Azlaan you literally killed it in Ishq e laa! Your transformation and the subtle expressions felt just so authentic! Your acting made my entire family literally cry in the last two episodes of this drama.
Heartiest Congratulations!! to the whole team of Ishq-e-laa.It was beautifully written, presented, acted with exceptional music and lyrics.Hats off to the entire cast.Each actor was in the skin of its character, very composed acting of the three Moms(exceptional!!).Sajal's acting, screen presence, dialogue delivery is spellbounding, Yumna is phenomenal....But Azaan steals your heart.....the way he portrayed the character growth , the anger...,the arrogance,the stubbornness ,the sadness...the change of heart and the softness in his eyes and tone when looks at Azka , the way with he accepts and confesses his love...truely phenomenal....His eyes spoke so much.Last two episodes Azlan makes your heart ache....Wish there were few more episodes to show Azka and Azlaan's happy married life...

Pure, unfiltered, raw and one of the sweetest interview I recently viewed. Azaan was open, sweet & honest with his responses could see it in his eyes esp when he stressed on, he started studying ppl behaviour as Azlan’s traits and raised an eyebrow with the cutest smile 😊. All in all throughly enjoyed watching and knowing the whole journey. Such a cultured and humble person he is, sometimes we are very quick to jump to judgements and don’t realise how much hard work is put into every projects while carrying the human element our stars goes through, esp like Amna mentioned being a star kid, first project and with such experienced actors put under the microscope instantly.

People are literally very judgmental it’s his first project he has no experience in acting , but he have a spark ⚡️ he will shine bright with more efforts ❤️❤️
If he has no experience in acting, then he should learn it first through 2nd lead roles, ensemble cast or theatre like every normal new actor does. Now he will be doing all his acting practice on us and we will have to bear it.

Azaan is so polished and it reflected in the way he portrayed Azlaan. Who by no means is a perfect character but Azaan is just too charming and that made us fall in love with Azlan. I'll be honest I did skip episodes in the middle after Sajal's character dies because of the way the story was going, I recently went back and watched all episodes from 23 onwards and my God Azaan has nailed it, no wonder there are so many vms of Azlan and Azka because of how sizzling their chemistry is! Keep going Azaan we are with you 🙌🙌🙌

I have no personal grudges against him, I think he is the best composer and musician, ishq e la and hkkst osts are the best to come out this year. As far acting is concerned, I would be happy if I will be proven wrong.

Loved the last episode of Ishq E Laa and the whole journey of it, I did not miss a single episode. You did an amazing job as a debutant, Azaan and want to see you doing more projects, hopefully with Yumna as well as it is a delight to watch you two. I have also seen almost all your music videos, Ibadat ost is something I listen to on loop daily, and it is nice to know we both share the love of period dramas and all things old, I think there is just something nostalgic about them. You seem like such a mature, humble and sensitive person at the age of 28, truly hats of to your mom and you as well. May you always retain the goodness. Azaan comes across as a sensible, mature, very humble and grounded gentleman. Azaan is a gifted music composer and singer. I am a great admirer of his music. I have liked his acting in Ishq e Laa all through… He has held his fort; it must have been tough being pitched alongside two extremely talented stars namely Sajal and Yumna. He was convincing as an arrogant and conceited young man. As a clinician, I felt his scenes with the psychologist where he portrays a man having visual hallucinations of his deceased wife; his reluctance to accept that he would have to let go of the hallucinations was very close to reality. In the last couple of episodes his vulnerability and acceptance of his feelings tugged at my heart… Full marks to Azaan Sami Khan… Keep shining…
He spoke so eloquently. It’s rare to find these days. Obviously, I had issues with Azlan at first, then his growth as an actor or character really amazed me. First project with this amazing cast is challenging. He needs to work harder as I would love to see him in many more in the upcoming years.

Since he said he would read the comments, I wanna put it out there. Being an average in front of Yumna and Sajal is far better than being extraordinary in front of talentless social media stars. You held your ground and it gave you a chance to shine. Apart from this, please keep acknowledging your privilege because I am sick and tired of star kids saying "we have our own battles" yes you do but an ordinary man has his own battles PLUS no helping hand in the industry so it's always harder for them. Just don't compare and keep working hard.

Thank you Amna for hosting a wonderful candid interview with Azaan Sami. It’s heartwarming to see a grounded, humble and mature person at such a young age MashaAllah. Ishq-e-laa’s last episode left us yearning for more. I wish there was another episode to it. They dragged the play after Shanaya’s death but picked up very well during the last few episodes. Azaan Sami’s body language and over all demeanour in the last few episodes was as good as any experienced versatile actor’s. His eyes were so expressive that you’d get a lump in the throat every now and then. I just wish we had another episode because the end literally left us craving for more.

Isq e laa had a good start but it went into mid age crisis 😂 . Last few episodes were so good and last episode made me cry especially when Azlan was talking with Azka before signing divorce papers . I am happy both mother in laws were so good . Big hand to Azlan , he did a good job in the end 👏👏👍🏼 .

Very impressed with Azaan's interview. He says well that coming from celeb parents background allows to get projects but to come up with the expectations is not always easy. I am also impressed to hear his personal life challenges at young age and then again going into another personal turbulence of his divorce and having kids. The positive side of all this is that he faced all the challenges bravely and manly.

Azaan you are doing a good job in Ishq e Laa portraying a guy who was aggresive and angry, to a calm warm-hearted guy who is going close to Islam. The story was a bit slow after Sajal's but when in Ep 25 the marriage was starting and the contract was happening Ishq e Laa was back on track!!

I have read comments about why she accepted Azlan at the end, honestly speaking, I really admire this decision as she was already in his nikkah, divorce is a big risk, a big stigma and it was unnecessary to marry someone else when your own husband admires you and accepts his mistake, moreover, I feel Azlan had created quite an impression on Azka before she knew who the pampered successful boss of the family is before she actually sees him finding a hair from the delightfully cooked food, and faces all the highly unexpected insult from Azlan over her ignorance.
Young girls from our society and especially a less advantaged background like that of Azka’s are always impressed by toxic yet male chauvinists, whether someone agrees or not, and later started strongly disliking him on the very day they met due to Azlan’s highly arrogant & unkind nature.
She was very involved with Zain, but things didn’t work in their favor at the right time, having said that, logically giving their unnaturally decided marriage another chance was very worthwhile as marriage can unfold anywhere, any place and with anyone….
P. S Azlan’s character could only be played by Azaan, non negotiable view if someone says he didn’t do a good job, I would say he was born to play Azlan :)

This interview with Azan is fantastic and the host questioning the best questions to Azan and he answered all in very honesty .Azan is very loyal, genuine ,honest ,humble , respectful and real person and his sense of humor is very good he is Also very good dad and best singer and both OST songs are very excellent and Azan voice is very soft mashallah sa like his father also sings in soft tune . Azan is carbon copy of his father and he is also resemble to it's mom too she gives very good upbringing to Azan that reflect in Azan personality.We are listening isha la both song alot of time and music and he sing both fantastic and lyrics is also good.Now talking about Azan acting he done very excellent performance in each schene it never feel it that he is new .it feels it happens really to that person.this story is azlan Is a real story to that boy azlan.All the shades of Azlan life he played wao and when he goes in troma we cry to see him but after that when he became angry to yumna that act is change from first part of anger but when he changed so his expression is express everything fantastic like yumna did now he is in leading star and both couple looks beautiful together . The part when he punish bad guys it's rock and all the scenes of sir Nadeem and that based on Quran and hikmat are wao from beginning to end and last 2 episode are too good are l watch that one many times and its both songs listen alot time.at last when he is express his feeling to her mom babhi and last with Aska they Azan act amazing and Aska and sajal also doing there best .the host say right that we want to see more episodes with Aska and Azlan happy living life together like a couple .
