man i should have learned this yesterday i was having trouble sinking in the rear naked choke ..this would have totaly come in handy. eddie bravos a genious
Eddie's got a good thing going for him. I wonder how far he'll go with his philosophy on BJJ. If I had my choice between fighting Royce Gracie or Eddie Bravo, I'd rather fight Eddie Bravo because Eddie's knows the difference between sportsmanship and being a sore winner; unlike Royce.
Its crazy, in highschool i use to wrestle and we would tweak moves for fun because we liked MMA. But all of the moves that we "thought" we created have already been done by eddie lol. great stuff
Nino basically utilized what Eddie called the London Position, not to say that Eddie used it first, just using the name so it is easier to research. And Eddie has already taken London out of his system, so there is nothing in his current game that comes from Nino.
@R10CHA Eddie never claimed to "invent" anything.. Except for the rubber gaurd variations.. He even says himself he invented the rubber gaurd variations, and other than that he named the positions in BJJ that didnt have names already. If you watched the rubber gaurd dvd he even gives credit to the lockdown as an old judo control. that he learned frm someone at JJ machado's school. He never claimed to Invent moves.. just different ways to get to thm

Eddie is the man
The truck is a position that even eddie says is one of the best positions to get. So many options

first again. amazing.
EB is sick.
i can´t see the twister here, i just see a calf-crusher...?
@Dreestwd its a crank buddy..not a choke.
Nino is in fact younger than Eddie and 'inventing' is the wrong word to use. There is a long back story with Eddie and Nino as well.
@puschmannn The deep leg hook and the arm control are the setup for the twister.
are his classes no gi focused? i never see him wearing a gi
@Wrestlefan1 Its the set up to the twister bro.
and the different ways to get to them (i.e the setups) are the most important aspect anyway
nope...taken from a seminar
SO MANY STEPS!!!!!...... ugh... i know its good stuff, but trying to remeber that in class is impossible, lol.
yeah the twister's an option from the truck.. There are a few submissions from there..

ok this is very effective move. but not the twister.. false advertising! good move tho
Switching to the twister is pretty simple tho.
@carlsongracieteam Well then the next time you talk to him, can you ask him to stop holding onto guys while the ref's pulling him off?
@ceeb40 thanks4info, greetings from austria
Really...watch Shayna B. in her MMA fight and she pulls this off.
The twister looks pretty similar to the old game... I guess that's why I'm horrible at pulling this off, because I sucked at the game =D
nope...he just finds in more interesting in his training.

the Korean zombie sent me here !!
because nogi is more realistic compared to a real life fight?
