I've not seen damson wood before. Its a gorgeous colour, I'm going to have to look out for it. The layers and bark are great. You and Mike did a similar shaped bowl this week. Great minds and all that.

William did you make yourself some gin with the fruit of that tree. Great turn mate and a very nice wee natural edge bowl, I didn't know it was such lovely wood when turned and finished, also some good old chunky bark and nice sap wood, well done.
No Gin buddy a pal of mine gave me the wood, and he drank the gin🤣 it's gorgeous wood and the bark has stunning colour also appreciate you watching mate. Will 👍
