Quick and easy install of a bike seat for when you are upgrading changing or replacing your bike seat or making adjustments.
Looks nothing like the underside of my RadRunner seat. The pole is welded to a plate.

Just stop watching this video, and try another one instead. That stupid metal piece fell out of the seat when I unscrewed it, and this guy just conveniently skips over how to put it back on. Had to take my bike to the shop after this video

How do you take off the top locking mechanism on a seat pole like this? I have a seat like the one in the video, but I want to replace it with one that just fits into the pole directly. To do that, I need the top connector to come off the pole.. but it's not budging.. Any ideas how to get it off?

This helped. Thanks. I was not able to use the hardware that came with my seat. I just used what was on the tube original seat.
The new seat I bought doing have the metal peicer where you put the reflecter and long stick onto it

There is no place to insert the allen key in my seat
you put the new one 180 degrees relative to the old one. which is correct?

Just a regular Allen key? Or do I need one with a special top end?

My bicycle seat does not have an allen screw. Please help me man. It's just a long bolt that goes through the middle of the seat on two sides, and I can't unscrew the two screws. It's not a double screw it's a single screw. Please help me man. My butt is killing me.
