The sweeping 3D shot of Milk’s city at the beginning is very peaceful. This colorful little house shaped like a baby bottle in the middle of this dark, gloomy city made of metal. Odd, but I like it.
this show really flew under the radar here. it deserves more fans. even translated it manages to be a beautiful realization of surrealistic, sci-fi art which happens to be in cartoon form. it weirds me out (in the best way) every time i watch it.
I love both versions (the 1998 original and the OH! Super Milk Chan Show), but if I had to choose between the two, I'd choose this one. I like this version a little better since it actually had plots.
I think OH! is funnier, but aesthetically, I like this one version a lot! I do miss the Landlord and Dr. Eyepatch, though. I wish the series overall cared a little bit more about worldbuilding just because Milk's world is so bizarre, but I suppose that would defeat the purpose of it being a "lul random" type of comedy.

I've lived watching milk chan since i was a kid but I didn't know that there was this vintage version as well...this is amazing it still has the stupid humor and milk chan is still an asshole but now with a more nostalgic animation ahh
