Dude every track I’ve played in the MX5 so far I’ve used your track guides they’re the best. You uploaded this just in time. So surprised you only have 1.5k
i love how clear and concise your instructions are. I’m very much a rookie so i can’t take advantage of all of this but i shaved 2 seconds off my lap time just by watching this one time through.
I recently started iRacing again last week with the mx5 on summit point. Thanks so much for your guide! I was so proud when finally beating your time 😂
Dude I’ve been watching you for a while and have always used your track guides to help me get faster. This week the Mazda was in Oulton park and I spent a while getting a bunch of laps in. After tens of laps I decided to look at your video to see where I was losing time. Imagine my surprise when I realized that I was already faster than you by two tenths! It made me so proud of myself because it showed to me just how much I’ve improved and how well I’m able to read tracks now. Thank you so much for your videos man
This is a great course and car combo. In 8 laps I got down to around a 1:53.8 which isn't fast but usually it takes me many more laps to get consistently 2 seconds off pace (my personal goal as a newer player). Always love your tutorials, great work.
Must have videos, man. Love it. Last week I was 8! seconds off your time after my first hour of practice, and after many laps finished .3 off with my best laps. Tonight I'm 3 seconds off after an hour. Can't wait to race tomorrow!
This track is really difficult to see slip angle on. But from what I can tell you're pretty damn good at rotating the car with the brakes. I'm still learning how to do it consistently because when I get it right it still freaks me out a bit. 😱 "AHH! Oh. That was supposed to happen." 😂
Unfortunately despite quite the investment in time/practice and equipment I can not even approach these kinds of times. Getting to be more frustration than enjoyment at this point especially when someone with a few weeks experience immediately starts driving away from me like I am standing still. I don't know if its my ability in general or I am doing something very wrong but I am close to just setting the whole thing aside at this point. No problem though I have a real miata to drive and it most definitely will cheer you up when you take it for a drive even on city streets and way cheaper than xanax.
I get that with the miata, it always cheers me up taking out my IS200, I totally agree on you with that one. With the racing have you tried with a tool like garage61, and compared your lap to mine or others? And it can for sure be a setting, but that really depends on the setup you have, and I get the frustation, that will take the fun out of racing
Been there as well in my first month and then just watched a lot of videos and spent more time practicing. Suellio Almeida has some good instructional videos online. Now I am getting pretty competitive in C-class races. I am now myself trying to dabble in Garag61 to figure out where my laps can get better. But there are days where driving my Mach1 in autocross beats Iracing any day haha keep it up man!

Many guides on how to drive the MX5 mention to not go over 80% as you will overwork the tyres and leave less grip for the later stages. So I think what you're doing is correct.
Do you use paddles or stick sequetial? Just getting back to iracing after 7 years lol. Just found out h pattern is no longer an option for mx5. Whats the trend stick or paddles?

Your guides saving my life again! Just cracked a 1:51:731
Your driving during that 'behind-the-car' view was really good! Taking it to the limit for sure.

Great job😅 that is amazing
@@Erilla01 but don’t worry, I don’t even get close on Oulton Park without getting a penalty! Thank you very much anyway ☺️

I am so super confused with you goingp to 95% brake pressure. My braking performance is better at around 80%. Don't these cars have abs?
They do yeah

for the first corner, I don;'t have those banners on my Iracing, is this a graphical setting?
I dont know, but it might be, then maybe you can find something els in that area when looking at the video, and use that instead
@Erilla01 I'll have a play around this evening. This week's race here is on a damp track... Rookie killer
yes it is i have theam
@ogozuber2073 yeah I have them too, could've sworn I didn't at the time, loaded back up and deffo have them too

I think the trend is paddles, I use that aswell
