About Stranded Deep:
Take the role of a plane crash survivor stranded somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Experience terrifying encounters both above and below an endless environment. Come face to face with some of the most life threatening scenarios that will result in a different experience each time you play.

Generate an Infinite Number of Procedural Worlds - Explore Pacific islands, reefs, and bottomless ocean trenches filled with detailed biomes!
No two worlds are the same - You can generate a completely new and randomized world at any time. You can also mix your own maps created with the map editor in with the procedurally created maps in the world for a more customized experience. If you feel like sharing, you can even share your world seed with other players.
Please note, currently the generated world size is limited to 6.25km2 but the final world size will be much larger.
Dynamic Weather and Day-Night Cycle - Struggle to navigate stormy seas or enjoy basking with a coconut on a sunny afternoon.
Unique Physically-based Crafting System - Harvest resources to create equipment by combining them together in the physical world - no crafting slots!
Unique Physically-based Building System - Settle on an island and construct a shelter or venture the seas with your own built raft.
Detailed Survival Aspects and Interaction - Manage your vitals of hunger, thirst, blood, and health against the harshness of mother nature.
Random Loot and Collectables - Search sunken shipwrecks and islands for interesting and rare equipment.
Hunting and fishing - Spear small animals in the shallows or risk the depths with a spear gun in search of larger meals. Starve an island of resources or maintain and manage its growth.

There are a TON of sunken ships now,
I came across an island with 3 ships on the beach, and 8 more within like a 10 second sail in all directions.
There should be a concept where you can dig out old crashed boats and rebuild them with container parts and engine parts. Of course, they'd come with some of the parts you need, but you'll also need a substantial amount of fuel for them

And youd have to use buoys to get them out of the water! Oh and what if you had to do a boss fight with the Great White as you pulled the ship up?
Finally they are listening and bringing stuff back.. Next the ocean fortress then procedurally generated then plane crashes then can add new stuff
Just realised if they bring back procedurally generated terrain gb wont have to restart again
for the past couple days ive been making a shed and the entire time, all I can think is "B-team doing tha work" you reminded me about it since it kicked back in when you mentioned your maid cleaning up.
If the solar still functions at all like they do in real life, then it should collect water without rain. The palm leaves underneath it collect dew in the morning, which evaporates in the sun during the day ("solar"). The evaporated dew condenses on the underside of the tarp, and the rock in the middle makes the condensation roll down and gather in the center and drip into a container. They provide a slow, but reliable way to collect water without being dependent on rain.
Maybe the one in the game also collects rainwater on top as well, which would make sense, but it should slowly collect water without any rain.
yeah it doesn't appear to collect rain water! That's good, was a bit overpowered I think!
im pretty sure the output is hardly enough to survive on though. Perhaps if you diluted it with coconut milk?

Awesome update. Thanks Genny. I can't wait for them to bring the old endless world back. With this update, it's gonna be a hard choice to stay put or do some travelling. The bricks could make some really cool buildings though. I agree with you Genny, tell them to allow us to build on foundations or our rafts. A house boat would be crazy to explore the endless world with.

Thanks for a peek at the update. BTW, and I haven't seen this in any Stranded Deep videos I've viewed, it's easier to get coconuts by using a spear, than climbing the palms (and possibly falling or getting stuck.)

I love that every other big UA-camr(Markiplier, Jacksepticeye and others) who played this and Subnautica chose Subnautica over this, but you just keep doing Stranded Deep. :)

The bricks are a nice addition to the game but until they bring back procedural generation it kinda sucks, Look at the amount of clay it takes to make things and think of how quickly you will run out of clay while building a house. Here's hoping they bring that back!! Glad to see you're happier with the game Genny... I'm waiting for the stable version myself and hoping they don't break my save again lol Good luck! :)

They should make it so that if you stand on a drift wood foundation it has a chance to snap under the weight

I use arrows to get coconuts down. id also like to see mapping and maybe some type of marker system.

Genny, ever since they implemented cliffs and tall rocks I've wondered if it's possible to somehow hardcore parkour to the top and build a house up there. or maybe find a cave or something. I think it might be worth a try.

Stranded deeps life is going back but lets hope it gets better. Also the earlier it was in the game was the better.
