Generate an Infinite Number of Procedural Worlds - Explore Pacific islands, reefs, and bottomless ocean trenches filled with detailed biomes!
No two worlds are the same - You can generate a completely new and randomized world at any time. You can also mix your own maps created with the map editor in with the procedurally created maps in the world for a more customized experience. If you feel like sharing, you can even share your world seed with other players.
Please note, currently the generated world size is limited to 6.25km2 but the final world size will be much larger.
Dynamic Weather and Day-Night Cycle - Struggle to navigate stormy seas or enjoy basking with a coconut on a sunny afternoon.
Unique Physically-based Crafting System - Harvest resources to create equipment by combining them together in the physical world - no crafting slots!
Unique Physically-based Building System - Settle on an island and construct a shelter or venture the seas with your own built raft.
Detailed Survival Aspects and Interaction - Manage your vitals of hunger, thirst, blood, and health against the harshness of mother nature.
Random Loot and Collectables - Search sunken shipwrecks and islands for interesting and rare equipment.
Hunting and fishing - Spear small animals in the shallows or risk the depths with a spear gun in search of larger meals. Starve an island of resources or maintain and manage its growth.

I have been watching this series since the very first episode and it never gets boring! I'm loving it Gen :)
The shark ISN'T the reason your raft goes all crazy it's the SPEAR that collided with it! My raft has been attacked by sharks while having crates on it and they NEVER fell off (the raft just moved around a bit) , they're too heavy and keep the raft from getting upturned ;-) Love your work, keep it up Genny!
Don't you think it would be cool if your guy could learn to hold his breath longer in this game? Imagine if everytime he went underwater and almost died, it added like half a second to the amount of time he could be down there. It would also be cool if you could find books or something that teach you how do that kind of stuff.
christian malherbe agreed. Like I commented as well, the breath time is way to short, and while I know that the gurgling noises are to let you know you are drowning, it's still kind of annoying

vinniecent007 dude thats not his point if you master your heartbeat you can increase the amount of time you can stay underwater without suffocating
vinniecent007 You can train yourself to hold your breath longer, has nothing to do with "lungs growing like muscle".

you know... that shark beating your raft that way is just because he got the spear stuck in his back! It was the spear that was hitting your raft, not the actual shark. Programmed shark attacks come from underneath your raft... the sharks go deep and then they ram your raft from below with all their strength... and they hit it stronger every time... but if your raft is a 5 piece with crates on it, he wont be able to flip it... unless he has some spear stuck in his back .... :/
George will always be remembered... Like that time when he failed to fly... Or when he would blast your eardrums out...

I liked the damn buckets... I mean they could at least keep those but have them be scattered about. I had about 25 of them for rainwater collection... it was cool. I never had to struggle for water (I had survived for like 100 some days I think) it took me a while to get to the point where I was completely self sufficent but I had 2 solar stills and a distiller for backup but never had to use it. THE MAIN REASON I WANT BUCKETS IS BECAUSE YOU CAN HANG THEM ON THE HOOKS lol I never got to finish my rainwater collection masterpiece. I do think there needs to be a rainwater mechanic somehow... I surely hope they still keep buckets at least in some capacity. It makes watering the garden seem more authentic lol. Looks like they fixed the sharks flying off into the wild blue yonder when they are killed. Hopefully they will make them sink to the bottom much slower... so that you can dive while it is sinking to catch your kill...
Sea fortresses are back, no worries.
btw I've built a raft of 6 bases like 2x3 and sharks can't tip over it at all
it saves your Config files even if you uninstall and reinstall the game your config files are almost never deleted for steam games either there saved on the cloud or on a different part of your pc.
Genny, can we get some kind of CatCam? I don't think I've seen Rasputin in forever

you should do an episode or just a segment where you either Catch loads of sharks in one episode or Catch one per episode

Genny he is great at what he does he makes his content for no particlular age group the problem i see with other youtubers is they target a certain age group and appeal to them but thank god he doesnt he makes his content clean enough for familys to watch it but he also is so entertaining that even a 19 going on 20 year old can still get a kick out of watching him iv been watching this dude for like 2-3 years now just keep up the amazing work genny

You should name the snake legit "Somethin". I also remember George. I legit really miss him.
If you plan on staying on the island you are on you could set certain things by your crates to label them since the labels from the label maker don't work, Ex: a empty coconut by the food crate, crude spear by tools etc...
Genny, you should make your raft like an arrow shape, so 5 wide at the back, and 3 in the middle, and then 1 out front, I wanna see if that lil shark could topple such a mighty sea creaft.

About a year ago when I was really new to Stranded Deep, I had this little "itempit" where I had all my stuff, and one night I heard some strange noises.. It resulted in a land whale throwing away ALL my stuff... xD

Hey man you should put a foundation on the chest and put you mouse on the chest under the foundation.
if its a config file, you should know that steam saves your configs in some games. Go back and check if its still disabled.
Once you widen the raft, the shark will be hard pressed to flip it.

So I guys know those giant rocks on some islands? I would like to know if u can build a house in those rocks
Fritz Goodman I don't have the game, but I'm fairly certain that you can't build in/on top of those giant rocks. The building system is really picky when is comes to building things when they are intersecting when any terrain, and I don't think there is a way to get on top of those rocks, besides building a huge stairway
