Hi Mike! That soap definitely sounded like a real banger. I remember my dad would bring out the Sambouca during the holidays and having a shot or two. I also remember having Amaretto as well. Moon Soaps produces Moon Soaps Amaretto and have heard it's like Cella on steroids. Anyway, you had great shave. Take care.
@JT-nf9tk I grabbed Moon amaretto. It smells fantastic! WAY better smelling than cella! Summer cabin by moon sounds like it smells good. I’ll grab that one next. Thanks for the suggestion.
We spent almost seven weeks in Italy and had digestive liquors after dinner every night. We even got blessed by Pope John Paul II after a rough night of Sambuca and a really bad Grappa, but good memories nonetheless!

Sounds like your fav blades are same as mine, the gillette platinum and the Wizamet blades brother.

That’s really cool that you had that experience. Good amount of time in Italy. It’s I’ve to have Sambuca every once in a while.
How does this one compare to the aluminum version?
I couldn’t tell you, believe it’s the same exact specs. Definitely a nice mild shave
