All you people who are here talking about seaga and criminality need to know that Michael Manley and Dudley Thompson was also a part of it,so don’t paint the picture on one side Michael Manley used to have gunmen traveling with him to various party meetings and he was the first prime minister to go to a don funeral and that is burrie boy, I have lived in tivoli,jungle and allman town and I have seen a lot of criminals activity by politicians and police so don’t blame it on one place.
It was Seaga that brought in the guns via the circus that came to Jamaica in 1967, not Michael Manley.

@@blackmamba-un2mv I agree that both the PNP and JLP are guilty in the criminality with the gun men and even more so now. I speak from experience as my father was Michael Manley's campaign manager in 1967, and i was once familiar with a number of Kingston gangs.
@@hartleycwhite I couldn’t cheer or vote for any of the two party at that time because it would be wrong, I have seen people lost their lives because they were pnp or jlp supporters or they were from a political area, the next thing is to see people losing their jobs when the other party win the election.

I voted for the PNP in the seventies, but eventually lost interest as neither party were putting the people of Jamaica first. My father did lose a lot of his government contracts when the JLP(my father and Seaga did not get along) came into power, but he accepted it.
I did learn from an early age, that politics is a dirty business.

Great interview with history. He told his story. Horrible situation to live in . Hopefully in many years time people will watch this and review the history because no war between these communities exist again . Wars end .it maybe beyond our lifetime but they do end .
