Something I would definitely recommend against BB is use leader effect always before swinging in case they hit black hole in life because that could be especially devastating on turn 2
Same thing with playing BB versus others. If they used their leader ability before swinging, then they could turn off on-plays from life triggers as well.
Been loving your videos recently. I’ve been grinding the sim and loving pluffy and my Marshall deck but primarily pluffy until op-10. First time TCG player and I’ve been addicted to playing this game and learning more combos from you is helping me understand more scenarios! Thank you 🙏
Long time viewer of your channel, I have started recording games at my locals. My set up is not too great though (using my dslr tripod that is clunky), would love to know what kind of stand you use and whether it is recorded on your phone/go pro?
@@TheLuffyTCG thanks a lot! The stabilisation looks awesome! I have wondered whether you edit bumps/knocks out or whether its raw with your voice over. Mostly because of how stable your recording is. From watching your videos I finally got the courage up to record my own. I love watching your videos keep up your awesome work!
@MrPeggy8 thank you! And usually I don't need to edit the stabilizing very much but occasionally I do have to use a warp stabilizer on adobe to correct shaking of the camera
Would 7C kid be a strong play into BB and worth running? My thought process is that it gets around BB leader effect with its when attacking and, would probably be a better character to play on a 7 don turn over dropping 7c luffy or 7c sanji if effected by BB.
So I actually had the exact same idea last week! I tried out the card and it felt ok, but you can't run more than likely 2 of it in the deck. And you'll bottom deck it a ton with your searches. Also the felt like luffytaro but with a perk that only helped in about 2 matchups. I don't hate the idea, I just personally couldn't make it fit
Opp had some suspect plays where he did nothing game one, like not using Lafitte to search right away instead going for Lafitte +1c search. This would've co-erced you into swinging with Law into his Lafitte and he could've cleared it with a lead swing which was the difference in the game at the end. Playing out the Laboon having no KO'ers was not optimal but not picking Doc Q with that first 1c search is the real crime seeing that he didn't have anything to KO with AND he planned to play Laboon on 4 Don. Stage isn't the main difference in this matchup, it's whoever goes first has the advantage.
Oh I couldn't disagree more :) going second is definitely the advantage for purple Luffy here. I get to play two characters each turn from turn 3 until the end of game if I go 2nd. But not fully using Lafitte is a fair call to say, but please keep in mind before we start calling players suspect, that it's only 1 week into the set being out 🤣
@@TheLuffyTCGwhy do you say going second for pluffy? In this matchup you don’t really care about taking life with leader ability, cause blackbeard wont put much pressure, if you go first you just ramp 2 times and play luffy taro one turn earlier, and from then on you have any play open, the difference tho is that on opp turn with 6 don you already have taro and sangoro/zorojuro on board, which is hella strong against a fairly slow deck like blackbeard, taking him to 1/2 life before he starts dropping 10c blocker is the key
@TomasoDugheria so I personally think that PLuffy is so favored in this match that you can go 1st or 2nd. Doesn't matter. But if you want to stop their optimal removal plays, stealing second is best. Going second also allows you to play a 5 cost which is pretty much impossible for them to remove for 2 more turns unless they have finger gun. It also allows 2 4 costs to be played on turn 3. And 2 5 costs on turn 4. Just optimal curve stuff puts them to 1 or 0 life before they even hit turn 6 for their 10 don turn

@@FaceRipperReal very good point! I haven't experienced someone hitting that trigger yet so I'll keep that in mind
