    Does the precision of the lines have to do anything with the chain holding the gun . Does it relive less weight off the gun and the pull make you have a more controlled movement? Is that what’s it’s for?

    • @kramis_teppich_design

    How much are the quality tufting machines? I would like to learn how to tuft very small rugs as a beginner. I went to Hofmann website and cannot find pricing information or can you direct me when I can purchase a tuftming machine to make a pile style rug. Thanks!

    • @kramis_teppich_design
      @kramis_teppich_design  3 роки тому +4

      Hello, If you want to tuft very small rugs as a beginner I would recommend you a cheaper tufting gun which works only electronically. With the professional gun you would need an air compressor and much maintenance - parts must be strictly replaced. A gun costs approx. 2'800$. If you are interested you have to contact Hofmann directly. I hope I helped you. :-)

    i notice you're going side to side, not bottom to top. is there a reason for that other than just the size of the rug makes it easier to do side to side?

    • @kramis_teppich_design
      @kramis_teppich_design  3 роки тому +6

      Well it is the easiest way to go from left to right. Thats why everyone has to be right-handed in our team. The other reason is to have the same tuft direction everytime. The most rugs we produce are one or two colored and they have to look the same everytime to get the customer satisfaction. In Some cases you have to tuft from bottom to top if you have a border or any lettering in it.

      There are already robot tuft but you can't compare this to hand tufted rugs. The robot would be good if you produce the same rugs over and over. Because every rug we produce is on demand it's more efficient to tuft by hand. Marketing technical it is better to show the people the hand work behind our rugs which valorizes the value.
