New technique! '73 - '87 squarebody vent window rebuild the easy way.

We put this off for a long time, but we finally did it ourselves and they turned out great! All rebuild parts were purchased through LMC trucks, Jeg's and Amazon. Let us know if you have any questions! Ans as always thanks for watching!

Haha! I watched at least four or five "how to" videos, but when it came time for me to install that rubber, I went back and watched them all again! Then, all of a sudden, this video pops up out of no where, a virtual gift from the lord of frustration himself! First off, you're lucky you have a helper, I'm stuck with my banged up hands. I took my frame apart because I thought it might be easier to put the rubber, I haven't started it yet, just came in today. It looks like it's going to be just like they say. Anyway, thanks for putting this together, it's going to be well used for sure. Happy trails.

first video i watched on the vent windows. I am curious would it have not been a little easier to put the trim on before assembling the frame?

There's also 2 different rubber kits for 81 to 87, you need to know that before you order. Also I mix up some Super Clean and water to install the rubbers, that solution is more slippery that soap, works great!

Do your research, 2 of our clients spent the money on one piece kits and hated them enough to go back…
