Whats up Bob. I am unable to reverse my firmware with the battery on or off. This is where i get stuck everytime- when i start my insta360 after placing the firmware file. It just loads right into the main screen as normal. There is no "Checking for firmware" update.
So have you followed the video's steps exactly as I did? (ie, copy the old firmware file over to Insta360, ejected the Insta360, unplugged from computer (360 should have powered down), plugged into AC adapter power, then powered on?) If so, make sure you're actually copying over the old firmware file version, and that it's named exactly like in the video...(note, if you've downloaded several firmware versions onto the computer, the names may have changed (like it adding 01 or 02 onto the end of the filename)
@@WhatsUpBob many thanks for your detailed out instructions too Bob. But looks like my Insta360 just wouldn't launch the firmware setup. I'll try it out again though just for the kick of it.
