I really dig their color scheme, simple enough but the colors against each other really pop. About how many trucks do they have in their fleet for the whole city, and have they had/tried anything besides rapid rails? Really cool video, funny how a lot of people go out and hunt down trucks but never video their own area because it’s normal and boring to them, but something new to everybody online, lol.
Thanks! They have around 90-100 currently. They had Heil 7000s that were replaced in 2005 when the Autocar RRs came in and then Leach Curbtenders but got rid of the Leaches in 2009 when the Condors came in. Hahaha I was thinking the same thing
Great video! I'm also on the Thursday route farther north; there seems to be quite a bit of tag teaming on the Thursday routes from what I've seen, particularly in the early mornings and early afternoons like you've filmed here. I do like the looks of the 520's! I just wonder why they decided not to continue the yellow and green stripes on the cab of the Pete's (both the 320's and now the 520's). Maybe due to the difference in grill design? Again, great video - hope to see another post from you soon!
Nice I didn't know they did it in other places too! Same, it would have made the truck really pop but I think it was probably for efficiency reasons. The sticker on the door is a decal sticker unlike the other ones that they put on individually. Thanks!!
Nice to finally see this from you Zach! I like the city's color scheme for their trucks. Do they only have diesel RRs or do they have natural gas too? Do they have any other side loaders besides Rapid Rails?
Awesome video cool truck

Thanks! The side load fleet is 100% LNG RRs. Trucks 86-134 are Condors, 135-165 and 180 are 320s and 166-176 are 520s
