      Here's a short cut..From the key of C MAJOR/Amin...
The b2......b3.......b5........b6.......b7 CHORD degree from C MAJOR TONIC.
In other words...all the BLACK NOTES.
      Db......Eb.......Gb.......Ab.......Bb
      It's just from A Harmonic min b2 ( phrygian , maj7)
      Bb lyd #6.
      Lyd has #4 ( tritone)....the #6 is enharmonic to b7.
In a nutshell you could play as Maj7, dominant, dim
      A melodic min b2 ( dor b2, Maj7) = Bb lyd AUG #6 ( Bb ion #4, #5, #6)
in a nutshell..You could play Bb, D, F#....AUGMENTED ( if you want to)
      D double harmonic min ( aeo #4, maj7) = Bb #2, #6
In a nutshell Bb minor if you wish
I personally created C Ion #6,,becuase Im not german, italian or French..
It's so you could COLOR those chords to ANYTHING you wish..
      such as sus 4
      In a nutshell...I use Lyd #6...Lyd aug #6, Lyd #2, #6 or Ion #6
as a GUIDE to build ANY TYPE of chords over
      b2.......b3........b5........b6.......b7
I can kill 3 birds in one stone
      A min Bb7 into Eb Maj , E7 into A min
A min Bb7 into Eb min Gb MAJ G7 into C MAJOR
or if you use C Harmonic MAJOR = F lyd b3
      C maj7 F min Dbmaj7 G7 into C MAJOR
Just PRETEND to play to F harmonic min....ect
      The OPTIONS are UNLIMITED
C Maj F min Bb dim Db dim D min G7 C MAJOR
      C Maj F min Bb dim B min E7 into A min
B min and E7 could be from A melodic min.
You're just playing a passing chord into B min E7 into A min..
You could use it to shift keys....but you dont have too,..
There's just GUIDES and TOOLS......not rules.
A min Bb7 into Eb Maj7 into Ab min G7 into C Major
      If you play A Harmonic min b5 = F Lyd #2, b7 ( or Mix #2, #4)
You could stack it Maj. min....dominant....half dim or full dim
Might as will throw in Melodic min b5 too..
      D lyd dominant b2 :-P ( or D Mix b2, #4)
or you can vamp/sub it over the D chord
      A melodic min = F# aeo b5
      .........................F# aeo b5. maj7 = D HUNGARIAN MAJOR
Just pretend to play to F# min/A MAJOR....
      hence PARALLEL MAJOR or min
      F# min G7 into C MAJOR....yes????.
      F# min G7 into C min F min E7 into A min...(if you want)
      another SHORT CUT....
2, 4, b6, 7 are all POSSIBLE FULL diminished chord
whether you use A Harmonic MAJOR or A harmonic min
      AND/or..............C Harmonic min AND/or C Harmonic MAJOR
They OVERLAP ...or could be COMMON CHORDS
      The.....B....D. F. G#
      A Harmonic min b5 AND Melodic min b5 = FULL diminished W/H
      D dor b2, #4............AND Lyd dominant b2 = FULL diminished H/W...
If you use full diminished H/W
you could stack...MAJOR. Min. dominant EVERY b3 intervals too..
In other worlds....G# Maj. min. dominant
      or like this
      A min B7 into E Maj7
      A min G#7 into C# min/E Maj
Use the N6 of C# min D maj7.....E7 to play back into A min ( if you want)
These are just some of the ways....
      A min C dim/G# C# min D7 E7 into A min
      A min G#7 into C# min D maj7 B min E7 into A min
      A min G#7 into C# min D dim E dim F min Db maj7 G7 into C MAJOR
      it'll overlap like this too.....D dim/Bb.....E dim/C
      A min Bb7 C7 into F min Db maj7 G7 into C MAJ....yes???
or play into F MAJOR chord
      A min Bb dim C7 into F MAJOR D min G7 into C MAJOR

@@LCRLive687 You can check this out
      ua-cam.com/video/gJRbB9C7mMM/v-deo.html
It make sense ..it's in the KEY of A MAJOR/F# min...as reference
      The A maj7....B min7....and D Maj7
      Those other chords....C Maj7 is b3 of A MAJOR
      Then G Maj7...........................is the N6 of F# min or b7 of A MAJOR
      There's even and F chord.......is the b6 of A MAJOR
The E min is sort of like an inverted C maj7
It's not metal...but you could make it metal if you want In A min
      Just play Db...to C MAj.....then C Maj to Bb Maj...then Bb to A min :-P
Hammer the F from Eb to C
      Then C , Db..Bb C A min chord. ect

    • @oneeyemonster3262
      @oneeyemonster3262 2 роки тому

@@LCRLive687 Just keep it simple...do simple counting
as I said..you can stack MAJ, minor or dominant chords every b3 intervals
if you use the full dim H/W......Vamp it over the V chord as a GUIDE
      from C MAJOR/A min
Play A min.....G min Db min E7 into A min
      Then C maj F min B dim E7 into A min ( E7 at the NUT)
Then Gb min C min Eb maj7 E7 into A min ( E7 barr chord at 7th fret)
A min at the 5th fret,
Then descend....from the A min chord.
      C dim Gb/F# min G Maj E7 into A min ( Nut )
      or.........................................E7...chord at the nut..with your pinky on the G# E string. ( G# dim into A min)
I just play C as dim from the A min chord
Gb/F# min is also b3 from A min
      You'll SEE it..the C is tritone from Gb/F#
You can vamp the full dim H/W over the A min/C MAJ too
      every b3...yes ???
      E7 into A min or A MAJOR
      2, 4, b6, 7 CHORD degree as full diminished...
OVERLAP ................. in A harmonic min AND A Harmonic MAJOR
      ..................................................................AND.F# harmonic min
AND...C Harmonic MAJOR and C harmonic min
AND...Eb Harmonic MAJOR and Eb Harmonic min
that would be the Gb Harmonic MAJOR or Gb Harmonic min
      .......................................................................F# Harmonic min
The N6 also overlap...if you shift keys.
      Db.......E7 is the N6 of C min/Eb MAJOR
The G7 is the F# min or Gb Major
The Bb is the N6 of A min or A MAJOR
      B dim/G..........D dim/Bb........F dim/Db.........G#dim/E
      G7...................Bb7................Db7....................E7
You'll get used to it..if you play/apply it.

Since listening to Yngwie’s debut album back in 1984. I bought classical albums more so in the early 90s. Bach, Beethoven, Paganini and Vivaldi. Beethoven’s 9th symphony gets credit from watching Clockwork Orange directed by Stanley Kubrick. Sorry Yngwie didn’t turn me on to that masterpiece. I have a few versions of Paganini’s 24 Caprices. Midori’s on Violin and on Acoustic Guitar by Elliot Fisk. It’s awesome he played it note for note on Acoustic Guitar. Since then there have been other great Neoclassical guitarists like Tony MacAlpine, Vinnie Moore, & Chris Impelleteri. I also should include Jason Becker and Marty Friedman. I remember Joe Satriani saying back in the 80s that guitarists wanted to learn how to play arpeggios. Notes that make up a chord.

My fave ice cream right now is mint chocolate chip.
Love me the blues and jazz but something about classical harmony just resonates with me much more.

Have you ever had black licorice ice cream from Basket Robbin’s? It is soooo good with the Harmnic Minor.

You should cover some neo-classical punk. It never really gets enough coverage.
