If you really don’t want to age
    1. Eat Healthy Food
    2. Drink plenty of water
    3. Have sufficient sleep
    4. Use affordable yet effective Skincare Products
    5. Meditate
    6. Avoid sugar
    7.Exercise
If you do these without fail, la Prairie would just be shit when it comes to Anti-Aging. Trust me this works much more.

it is expensive but it is the best skin care product I have ever used. I am 58 and have been using it for over 10 years. I get so many compliments on my skin. I have been told it looks flawless.

All you need is vitamin C serum and squalane. I am in my 50's and my skin looks like a person in their 20's. You don't have to spend a lot of money for healthy / wrinkle free skin. Your skin only loves nutrients it can soak up and hydrate. I love to spend money but I would never ever spend it on anything that cost $400 to $500 for skincare. You don't need it.

I think the one thing you can say about this brand is that it isn't under-developed for what it is (a cosmetic), which can't be said about many popular brands. At the end of the day these are cosmetics and don't fundamentally change the structure or function of skin. It would be rare that you can spot what products or brands someone is using by their appearance. Genetics and lifestyle are far more prevalent factors than what's applied topically. In the US the most permanently deleterious skin care concern is the lack of modern sunscreens. I'm not certain that an increased awareness of ingredients beyond sunscreens, retinoids (most people don't use them correctly or can't tolerate them) and the AHAs/BHAs (similar situation) has led to fundamentally better skin care.

I’ve used La Prairie Essence of Skin Caviar Eye Complex for 15 years. It really works. Better than La Mer and other more expensive eye serums. Don't care what's in La Prairie. I used to use the Caviar Luxe range and now use Platinum Rare, which runs me well over 10k a year. And it works amazingly. It's about prevention, and I'd rather use skin care rather than botox or face lifts. I'm nearly 40 and constantly told I look in my early 20s. These products have gotten rid of flakiness, rosacea, fine lines, redness and makes my skin soft, supple, hydrated and just amazing. I tried Chantecaille, La Mer, Tatcha and Chanel Sublimage and no comparison at all. Natural or more natural skincare is a hype. They don't work. I need all the preservatives I can get!! La Mer was ok; but didn't help redness, flaking or any anti-aging at all. Plus if you have fragrance allergies, La Mer is extremely strongly scented. Will always use La Prairie, it just works for me. The Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir is truly the fountain of youth, no lies.

    • @whitepaper5241
      @whitepaper5241 4 роки тому +17

@@Audios81 in case you didn't know it, there's this thing called "retinol", which is a scientifically proven anti-aging ingredient. And that ingredient is non-existent in most of the brands that you mentioned. Instead of spending $10k a year just to buy skincare products, why don't you spend your money to visit a dermatologist and ask them a skincare product recommendation? It doesn't only save a lot more money, but it makes you more aware about what you're putting on your face, and what ingredients are potentially dangerous for your skin.
Also, many of those products you mentioned contain many irritating and potentially dangerous ingredients. Using those products consistently will damage your skin in the future.

I bought the Foam Cleanser not long ago at $90 for $113 total. From a normal person? I like their products but they're so expensive. I don't look at ingredients when I buy makeup and I should. Makeup is totally different . We get an immediate payoff but skincare is tough because you have to wait to see a payoff. I don’t like they are related to Clinique which is a terrible brand. Old outdated. I just bought La prairie foundation I can’t wait to get it. I used a sample of white caviar last night and my skin is clear and bright this am. I’m so hooked. I just came across your videos and they are fantastic! I like that you're talking about how La Prairie caters to a certain client, luxury, how it makes skin feel.... With that said you have young and beautiful skin. This is going to sound horrifying but come back and try the la prairie skin caviar luxe cream in 30 to 35 years after running a razor over your face all that time and all the other things only time will do to your skin. I know it's impossible to imagine but getting old happens. For skin getting old really sucks. I also want to say that I have done all the right things to keep my skin as healthy as possible. I've used everything on the market; drugstore to specially formulated by a dermatologist. Also, I'm not a rich man so the expense of LPSCLC is not lost on me by any stretch of imitation. Trust me, over $500.00 for 1.7 ounces seems ludicrous. Just typing it makes me go a little crosseyed. The problem is, for me, NOTHING even comes close to how good my skin looks and feels when I put this stuff on. It's a game-changer. I know it's not for everyone but I'm so grateful this stuff exists. Combined in a skincare routine with their Cellular Mineral Face Exfoliator, some 0.1% Retin A from the dermatologist, and a methodical cleansing routine, my face has never had it so good. Keep up the amazing work you're terrific. And... dont forget the sunblock and drink lots of water!

Funny thing is they reformulated all of their products as of 2021 and there's not a single mention of denatured alcohol most of their products except in a few of their soon-to-be-discontinued older lineups (like the original Skin Caviar) and uniquely the Liquid Lift (ironically the most expensive thing in their reformulated Skin Caviar "Remastered with Caviar Premier" lineup). At the time of this video, the Luxe Cream was $505, but now the price is $530, and the Platinum Lotion was 500 something something dollars but now it costs $700. All of their products have gone through a drastic price increase and I can't help but suspect that the skincare enthusiasts exposing the reality of their formulations have much to do with both the re-valuing and re-formulation of their products. There were a lot of products in the old Skin Caviar lineup, like the ampoules, that got discontinued, along with the entirety of their anti-aging line and Swiss Ice Crystal line (with the exception of the Dry Oil). The rest of their existent lineup is overpriced cleansers, sunscreen, and toners, which all seem pretty unspecial. And as a side note, the actual caviar extract is now anywhere from the 9th to the 12th ingredient on the list. So I guess the takeaway from all of this is that you can treat yourself to a luxury purchase if you want without fear of damaging your skin...

My experience with La Prairie... I have very good, clear, normal skin and rarely get pimples. Bought the La Prairie Skin Caviar Sheer Luxe Cream and began to have the most horrible skin of my adult life... at first I couldn’t believe that it was due to this super expensive product, but since I haven’t changed anything else to my skin care routine, I figured that’s what caused it. I used the cream for 5 weeks and throughout almost the whole time i had skin like an acne teenager 🤬 Only 4 days after I - just to test if I was right - stopped using it, my skin was BACK to its normal, healthy, clean self... I had used creams from Dior, Chanel and other brands in the past. No other product made such a mess with my skin... go figure... 🧐 ...soooo disappointing, sooooo mad...

The ingredients must be listed in order from most to least concentrated in the product, until 1%. If an ingredient is present at 1% or less in a product it may be listed in any order. Problem is there’s no way to know where this 1% line is in a product. Also, 1% of an ingredient can still have a lot of impact, look at differin. 0.1% adapalene and that 0.1% is super potent for clearing acne (not to mention the dry/sensitive phase that most people experience at the beginning)

But - Can I live without them if I turn broke one day? Yes. Well I swear by them for the rest of my life? Probably not...However I don’t think it’s correct to say that the most advertised ingredient has to be top of list to be effective; maybe it only needs that much / skin can only tolerate that much. But I do agree with Hyram that their products are mostly just selling luxe.

you look amazing, ma'am. However, it would be very beneficial for you to research about skin care active ingredients. You could have the same results with a few more products but that in total would cost you half the price of a single product that may not be as beneficial as others.

So if it works for your skin, I don't care what's in them. And some background, I'm a chemist that works in the cosmetic industry for the past 15 years.

Gold is the worst! I had to stop using an eye cream that I had with gold in it because it eventually sensitised my under eye area and made it sting and burn... It's the only ingredient that I've ever had a reaction to

the most expensive skin care item i have is moisturizer and it is 10 dollars i only use a facial wash, moisturizer, exfoliator, sunscreen, hylaronic acid, and nicinamide but i only use the exfoliator and nicinamide 1 time a week i have pretty good skin im 91% irish according to a dna test and wellllllll im white af and i never want to tan so i think my skin care stuff is pretty good they are all the ordinary except for my exfoliator which i forgot who its from and when i shower i use a shampoo for dandruff i also forgot what its called but my aunt told me to use it because i have tiny little clogged pores on my forehead and it helps! i only spent 45 dollars on my whole routine and i cried because it was expensive because im a broke ass bitch just like hyram and normal peeps are spending around 40 dollars per item and thats expensive to me but 1 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR ITEMS THAT DONT WORK WHYYY JUST WHY WOULD I SPEND THIS MUCH EVEN IF IT DID WORK?!?!? if i was gonna spend that much i would just get botox or surgery instead so ill stick with my cheap items that work and dont kill my 700 dollar a month paycheck... its hard to survive in a household that has abusive family members they steal your small amount of money you make a month on cigarettes beer and the casino while youre 15 cant get a job not allowed to go outside mother that abandoned you and dad thats legally not allowed to see you AND have 6 pets ahahahahaha.... please kill me im broke af im not getting the medical care i need... and i am mentally unstable.. i have so many mental issues we have to write them down on a piece of paper.. i have at least 15 and i believe i have psychosis and schizophrenia my therapist made sure my family made me an appointment because she knows i have alot of problems they wont help with and i have a high iq for my age when i was 11 i had a iq test and it was 118 im 15 now and theres no telling how high it is now because autism is my super power because each autistic person has something they love and want to know everything about for example i like researching about animals, nature, science, and animal diseases sicknesses and other things temple grandin researches with animals too but mostly livestock like cows (watch her movie it is amazing but takes a while for it to get interesting to me but idk about you) and Einstein possibly had it too and he liked math sorry for saying alot but i have no friends and no one to talk to

Please can you do a review on Guerlain? I see so many people using it who seem to have amazing skin. It starts much lower but goes higher in their premium range at 1,500 :O …. I think half the time people have great skin is genes and the other half is not damaging it too much by UV exposure.

Hi, just watched your video. Firstly you only mention the most expensive products of the La Prairie range - i use the mid range they have and love them - most products last me 3-4 months, so whilst you guys buy products every other week, im using the same bottle. When you hit your 50's you stick with a brand that works, for me its La Prairie. Good luck everyone 😀
