@@Audios81 in case you didn't know it, there's this thing called "retinol", which is a scientifically proven anti-aging ingredient. And that ingredient is non-existent in most of the brands that you mentioned. Instead of spending $10k a year just to buy skincare products, why don't you spend your money to visit a dermatologist and ask them a skincare product recommendation? I often wondered why a friend bought this product line because honestly, I never noticed a difference in her wrinkles!!! Thank you for your video. You are so funny and so well informed.
You know why I love Hyram's channel? Makes me feel a little bit better about being poor. If i was a rich girl (na na na) I would probably smother sillicones for $1000 all over my face everyday. But because I'm not a rich girl I am much more causeous about the products i buy.
When studying marketing my professors will often used laPraire as an example of how much you can get away with bulshitting. If you want a good cream, look for the active ingredient, not the price or the branding. Some luxury cremes are just your everyday Nivea crème with fancier scent at 6 times the price.
I have watched a few of your videos now.I really like that you don’t call people idiots for using products that aren’t any good and are too expensive. Some people in the beauty and fashion industry can be arrogant. That’s one reason why I haven’t always liked the What not to wear series. The stylists on that show do seem to know fashion but they have been a bit rude to the people they are giving a makeover to.I will keep watching your videos because you are kind to people.I think we have lost kindness in our world
I just came across your videos and they are fantastic! I like that you're talking about how La Prairie caters to a certain client, luxury, how it makes skin feel.... With that said you have young and beautiful skin. This is going to sound horrifying but come back and try the la prairie skin caviar luxe cream in 30 to 35 years after running a razor over your face all that time and all the other things only time will do to your skin. I know it's impossible to imagine but getting old happens. For skin getting old really sucks. I also want to say that I have done all the right things to keep my skin as healthy as possible. I've used everything on the market; drugstore to specially formulated by a dermatologist. Also, I'm not a rich man so the expense of LPSCLC is not lost on me by any stretch of imitation. Trust me, over $500.00 for 1.7 ounces seems ludicrous. Just typing it makes me go a little crosseyed. The problem is, for me, NOTHING even comes close to how good my skin looks and feels when I put this stuff on. It's a game-changer. I know it's not for everyone but I'm so grateful this stuff exists. Combined in a skincare routine with their Cellular Mineral Face Exfoliator, some 0.1% Retin A from the dermatologist, and a methodical cleansing routine, my face has never had it so good. Keep up the amazing work you're terrific. And... dont forget the sunblock and drink lots of water!
The only la Prairie product worth the hype is the skin caviar cushion foundation. It's amazing! It's not as expensive as the skin care products but it feels like skincare, covers everything and stays on the whole day.
I got my mom sample sizes of a bunch of LP items for Christmas ... we’re really into skin care and focus on TO & affordable options Hyram recommends, but she also still holds that old school belief from young about the prestige of LP and how she could never in her life afford it so ... figure she can test it for the ... 3 uses that the sample sizes have lol. We love using TO the most, but there’s something to be said for her getting to feel a little “luxurious” doing her skincare along with a bunch of ultra rich older women around the world lol.
I believe you as blue caviar I m using for 2 years and people say I have great skin without foundation. With foundation they thought my skin is perfect and doesn't look like i put foundation. It's worth every penny
Hi Hyram. LOVE LOVE LOVE your channel. Your video about La Prairie and La Mer blew my mind. I'd SO appreciate it if you could share your thoughts about Valmont skin care!!! I've been long considering investing into their line but am so hesitant as it is so expensive and I'd really like to make sure it's worth the money. Thanks a million in advance and keep on the great job you're doing. You are really amazing!
Funny thing is they reformulated all of their products as of 2021 and there's not a single mention of denatured alcohol most of their products except in a few of their soon-to-be-discontinued older lineups (like the original Skin Caviar) and uniquely the Liquid Lift (ironically the most expensive thing in their reformulated Skin Caviar "Remastered with Caviar Premier" lineup). At the time of this video, the Luxe Cream was $505, but now the price is $530, and the Platinum Lotion was 500 something something dollars but now it costs $700. All of their products have gone through a drastic price increase and I can't help but suspect that the skincare enthusiasts exposing the reality of their formulations have much to do with both the re-valuing and re-formulation of their products. There were a lot of products in the old Skin Caviar lineup, like the ampoules, that got discontinued, along with the entirety of their anti-aging line and Swiss Ice Crystal line (with the exception of the Dry Oil). The rest of their existent lineup is overpriced cleansers, sunscreen, and toners, which all seem pretty unspecial. And as a side note, the actual caviar extract is now anywhere from the 9th to the 12th ingredient on the list. So I guess the takeaway from all of this is that you can treat yourself to a luxury purchase if you want without fear of damaging your skin...
I used two pots of eye cream and incredibly, INCREDIBLY I don't have fine lines anymore, I never thought it was possible to do this without acid filler, but I got these pots, today with my money I would say it's not worth it , cheaper and safer to go for botox
Man, i tried the caviar back then and it wasn't bad but there is that hype about it that says "it's miracle, but when you leave it your skin will get worse". I was about to try it again but i think after this video i don't think i'd go for it! but are you really sure about these info???
My experience with La Prairie... I have very good, clear, normal skin and rarely get pimples. Bought the La Prairie Skin Caviar Sheer Luxe Cream and began to have the most horrible skin of my adult life... at first I couldn’t believe that it was due to this super expensive product, but since I haven’t changed anything else to my skin care routine, I figured that’s what caused it. I used the cream for 5 weeks and throughout almost the whole time i had skin like an acne teenager 🤬 Only 4 days after I - just to test if I was right - stopped using it, my skin was BACK to its normal, healthy, clean self... I had used creams from Dior, Chanel and other brands in the past. No other product made such a mess with my skin... go figure... 🧐 ...soooo disappointing, sooooo mad...
Some people just don’t understand that expensive doesn’t mean good! Sadly these often are the people who have the money to buy ridiculously expensive shit wether it being skin care, clothing or what have you.. And this is why some brands can continue to put a exorbitant price tags on just ordinary or even bad stuff...so sad!
It's not 100% true that the order the ingredients are in is equivalent to the amount that is in the product, a Chemist explained to me. He said that to some degree it is true, but there is also a specific order the ingredients have to be in depending on their type.
Flower Liz if you wanna see the actual law regarding the ingredient list of cosmetic products google the fda’s regulations on cosmetics’ ingredients. The ingredients must be listed in order from most to least concentrated in the product, until 1%. If an ingredient is present at 1% or less in a product it may be listed in any order. Problem is there’s no way to know where this 1% line is in a product. Also, 1% of an ingredient can still have a lot of impact, look at differin. 0.1% adapalene and that 0.1% is super potent for clearing acne (not to mention the dry/sensitive phase that most people experience at the beginning)
Thank you so much for you help you open the eyes to a lot of womens that we need a good cream but we dont know what to buy, or what is the correct cream... thank you, thank you, thank you
Well they do give samples so you can try sample and decide...I tried and bought full size. There was a period of time I’m so happy to wake up after a night of sleep with their sleeping mask. But - Can I live without them if I turn broke one day? Yes. Well I swear by them for the rest of my life? Probably not...However I don’t think it’s correct to say that the most advertised ingredient has to be top of list to be effective; maybe it only needs that much / skin can only tolerate that much. But I do agree with Hyram that their products are mostly just selling luxe.
Exactly. It is amazing that this kid gets so many views. All he is doing is making Google searches. We can all do that. So many kids put their faith in him , instead of going to a dermatologist when they have a problem. How can you believe him when he must likely gets paid for the products he recommends?
M T fr, Dr Sheerene Idris actually said La Praire is one of the only luxury skincare brands that ACTUALLY works. That’s why as soon as I make a good amount of money I am going to buy some La Praire products
you look amazing, ma'am. However, it would be very beneficial for you to research about skin care active ingredients. You could have the same results with a few more products but that in total would cost you half the price of a single product that may not be as beneficial as others.

You know why I love Hyram's channel? Makes me feel a little bit better about being poor. If i was a rich girl (na na na) I would probably smother sillicones for $1000 all over my face everyday. But because I'm not a rich girl I am much more causeous about the products i buy.
Cautious*
Keep going the good work! This is so informative love it! 💯
Thank you boo, your support means everything! ❤️
When studying marketing my professors will often used laPraire as an example of how much you can get away with bulshitting.
If you want a good cream, look for the active ingredient, not the price or the branding.
Some luxury cremes are just your everyday Nivea crème with fancier scent at 6 times the price.
100% true.
Seriously? Wow - scheming
I have watched a few of your videos now.I really like that you don’t call people idiots for using products that aren’t any good and are too expensive. Some people in the beauty and fashion industry can be arrogant. That’s one reason why I haven’t always liked the What not to wear series. The stylists on that show do seem to know fashion but they have been a bit rude to the people they are giving a makeover to.I will keep watching your videos because you are kind to people.I think we have lost kindness in our world
And here I am crying about spending $40 on cleanser 😅 loved watching this vid, Hyram!!!
The cleaning is the most important. Without this step, we’ll done, your skin won’t absorbe anything. It’s not prepare too
I just came across your videos and they are fantastic!
I am binge watching your channel. So educational!
The only la Prairie product worth the hype is the skin caviar cushion foundation. It's amazing! It's not as expensive as the skin care products but it feels like skincare, covers everything and stays on the whole day.
Ooh good to know! I've heard about it and honestly, it's probably the only product I'd be able to fully afford 😂
K P it feels like skincare because it has skincare in it.
You are so young why you talk about this product???
Maureen Hernandez how do you know how old this person is? Also they can talk about any product however they like.
You can get foundations that do that for way less.
It is worth it. As someone who actually purchased this and used it.. wow it’s amazing.
La prairie skin caviar is the best cream .it makes my skin young and without big pores and oiliness
New subbie here :> gunna binge watch your channel bec I am enchanted by your personality
Thank you boo!!
You need to get out more. Why spend your precious time watching this puppet.
We love using TO the most, but there’s something to be said for her getting to feel a little “luxurious” doing her skincare along with a bunch of ultra rich older women around the world lol.
la prairie is swiss, i m swiss, i m using it since many years and my skin just doesnt age at all
I believe you as blue caviar I m using for 2 years and people say I have great skin without foundation. With foundation they thought my skin is perfect and doesn't look like i put foundation. It's worth every penny
@@youraphrodisiac.895says. I don’t need foundation going out since I started using this product

Hyram, could you please make a video whether it's worth it to buy men's skin care for men or we can use women skin care too?
Wow, seriously good video on a company that at first look produces a quality product
@@cwill2127 Yes, that's what I meant. But it also may be different from country to country because I don't live in the US.
So much love for your video ❤️❤️💯
Thank you so much Sara!! ❤️
Thank you so much for you help you open the eyes to a lot of womens that we need a good cream but we dont know what to buy, or what is the correct cream... thank you, thank you, thank you
This is so different, Thank you , this is so informative
GREAT video!!
This is why I only listen to dermatologists, and not people who make google searches and call it “scientific research” 🙄🙄
First time seeing you..love the video.subscribing 👏🏼
look at my pic, look at my skin, you ll never know my age, this la prairie honey
Have you ever try it before?
Its the most powerful antiaging 👌👌👌👌👌
@@maureenhernandez5087 i love it, i try everything always back la prairie
You look amazing wow 🤩🤩
you look amazing, ma'am. However, it would be very beneficial for you to research about skin care active ingredients. You could have the same results with a few more products but that in total would cost you half the price of a single product that may not be as beneficial as others.
Saved me tons of 💰. Thks love 😘
Don't care what's in La Prairie. I used to use the Caviar Luxe range and now use Platinum Rare, which runs me well over 10k a year. And it works amazingly. It's about prevention, and I'd rather use skin care rather than botox or face lifts. I'm nearly 40 and constantly told I look in my early 20s. These products have gotten rid of flakiness, rosacea, fine lines, redness and makes my skin soft, supple, hydrated and just amazing. I tried Chantecaille, La Mer, Tatcha and Chanel Sublimage and no comparison at all. Natural or more natural skincare is a hype. They don't work. I need all the preservatives I can get!! La Mer was ok; but didn't help redness, flaking or any anti-aging at all. Plus if you have fragrance allergies, La Mer is extremely strongly scented. Will always use La Prairie, it just works for me. The Platinum Rare Cellular Night Elixir is truly the fountain of youth, no lies. So if it works for your skin, I don't care what's in them. And some background, I'm a chemist that works in the cosmetic industry for the past 15 years.
Over 10k a year on skincare? Goodness me 😳😳😳
Does the lux cream have gold glitter in it?
I've tried a bunch of La prairie - my favorite is Ice Crystal Immulsion - even more than the more expensive products. Surprisingly for eye cream - I find Shiseido wrinkleResist 24 great relative to la prairie
Shiseido is so worth it! I use their products for few years! And way way affordable..
Gold is the worst! I had to stop using an eye cream that I had with gold in it because it eventually sensitised my under eye area and made it sting and burn... It's the only ingredient that I've ever had a reaction to
That second client is my dad 😂 who just thinks expensive things are the best of the best, I got the prairie cream from him the other day to try it out and I used it today immediately feeling not that great on my skin and looked for your review❤️
OMGoodness...I used to clean paintbrushes in denatured alcohol when I was an art major in school!!! 😩
excellent video - thank you!
Perfectionism is a bitch!
But hey, we'll be here whether you're "boring" or not!
I personally love hearing a hunch of science equally to seeing your personality
Anyway, thank you for your hard work, I know your upload schedule is getting more intense now and your putting yourself under pressure, but trust me Hyram
You will work it out❤️❤️❤️
Ffs *bunch
I can't even with my illiterate ass
Thank you boo!! That comment made my day 😄 It’s pretty intense, not gonna lie, but I’m doing my best to be consistent for you guys! I appreciate all the encouragement ❤️
@@Hyram
Welcome babe, I'm glad I can be a help in a little way! We all appreciate you doing your best
Love ya xx
Yup, platinum is an anti- cancer drug but also is very very poisonous for our body
Of course it's different when you use it epidermicaly but still...
Thanks for the lovely video! ❤️
I heard gold and platinum and was like oh hell no. I pretty much stay away from anything with ingredients like that, including Tatcha, as much as I want to love them as someone who appreciates their branding.
❤❤❤❤ Absolutely 💯 worth it
Hi Hyram :) Do you try the SPC cream of SWISS PHARMACY COSMECEUTICALS sell by Swissrevelation? I'd to have your opinon
Great video! Very informative thank you.
Thank you Amber, I really appreciate it 😄❤️
hyram can you please do reviews on sisley hair care as its skin care for the scalp is it worth it or is there other brands you recommend for hair and scalp anti aging
i recently started watching you and i have the moisturizer, face mask and eye cream from la prairie and i was wondering what you had to say about them!!
Love these videos! I’ve gotten super into skin care approaching my late 20s🙃 i recently bought an anti aging product from katesomerville if you can do a video on her brand!
Great video, do you by any chance have a video where you speak on the La Mer Foundation?
the most expensive skin care item i have is moisturizer and it is 10 dollars i only use a facial wash, moisturizer, exfoliator, sunscreen, hylaronic acid, and nicinamide but i only use the exfoliator and nicinamide 1 time a week i have pretty good skin im 91% irish according to a dna test and wellllllll im white af and i never want to tan so i think my skin care stuff is pretty good they are all the ordinary except for my exfoliator which i forgot who its from and when i shower i use a shampoo for dandruff i also forgot what its called but my aunt told me to use it because i have tiny little clogged pores on my forehead and it helps! i only spent 45 dollars on my whole routine and i cried because it was expensive because im a broke ass bitch just like hyram and normal peeps are spending around 40 dollars per item and thats expensive to me but 1 THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR ITEMS THAT DONT WORK WHYYY JUST WHY WOULD I SPEND THIS MUCH EVEN IF IT DID WORK?!?!? if i was gonna spend that much i would just get botox or surgery instead so ill stick with my cheap items that work and dont kill my 700 dollar a month paycheck... its hard to survive in a household that has abusive family members they steal your small amount of money you make a month on cigarettes beer and the casino while youre 15 cant get a job not allowed to go outside mother that abandoned you and dad thats legally not allowed to see you AND have 6 pets ahahahahaha.... please kill me im broke af im not getting the medical care i need... and i am mentally unstable.. i have so many mental issues we have to write them down on a piece of paper.. i have at least 15 and i believe i have psychosis and schizophrenia my therapist made sure my family made me an appointment because she knows i have alot of problems they wont help with and i have a high iq for my age when i was 11 i had a iq test and it was 118 im 15 now and theres no telling how high it is now because autism is my super power because each autistic person has something they love and want to know everything about for example i like researching about animals, nature, science, and animal diseases sicknesses and other things temple grandin researches with animals too but mostly livestock like cows (watch her movie it is amazing but takes a while for it to get interesting to me but idk about you) and Einstein possibly had it too and he liked math sorry for saying alot but i have no friends and no one to talk to
Please can you do a review on Guerlain? I see so many people using it who seem to have amazing skin. It starts much lower but goes higher in their premium range at 1,500 :O …. I think half the time people have great skin is genes and the other half is not damaging it too much by UV exposure.
Just found you and subscribed by the second video I saw. Obsessed w youuuuuu. 🤗
Can you please do a kylie skin review? ☺️ I absolutely love your videos!!
Rachelle Samantha he already did a video saying not to buy it 😂
3yrs late but thanks for the science you used & for getting straight to the point
Hello, pretty! Can you tell me which eye cream is best against puffiness (your opinion)
Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator. You must try it!!
I adore you 🤗 you make me smile. I’ve tried La Prairie. To me........... not worth it. Just my opinion. My new favorite...... SkinMedica ta da! Great ingredients still expensive BUT...........worth it. Hugs hugs Great video by the way. Very very informative. The only thing that I actually like is the 3 minute mask
I love you Stephanie! I love your opinion- I've been hearing more about SkinMedica! I'll have to try it out 🙂So good to hear from you and I miss your videos! ❤
Hey bro just tell me which luxury brands is purely organic🙏🙏🙏
Depends on the preservative and depends on the fragrance- they’re not all the same.
I do have the rare platinum serum and the white caviar cream. I don't really use them because they break me out. I use Sisley instead 😅
My mother has tones of samples of the lux series. NO one in the family has any issues (except with the price xD). Maybe it's genetic (?)
and that Platinum Rare Cellular serie recipiens are made of plastic...you should think that with the price tag that goes with it, it should be made of Lalique glass at least!!!
Right??? For that price it should be the best packaging... ever lol
I used Skin Caviar Liquid Lift the 1st bottle was great the second one didn’t work at all
Skin caviar is no doubt one of the best ever and ever best for farming, lifting and collagen and elasticity. Because seeing is believed, my mom with such horrible sagging and wrinkles, she is completely transformed by using skin caviar cream and serum. Guys if u don't believe me try it by yourself and you will see viably change and the results. Before and after
imagine believing your skin looking slightly better is worth smushing thousands of living beings babies
cant believe this was just 3 years ago
Just a quick little reminder though… youth and beauty is NOT love or respect. The most important things are not tied up in our looks. Coming from someone who had looks at one time so I know.
How about Loccitance?
I went from LaPrairie to Cerave. Never looked back and my skin is glowing! The only thing I keep buying is the body mist ... heaven! and I loved the Caviar Lotion. It made me feel so luxurious, but it’s heavy on fragrance:(
Please do it for Sisley !
What is this white t-shirt BRO?!! haha, just kidding - love you so much 💜🖤💜🖤
Can you do a review on Laura Mercier?
Do your own research . All he does is Google the ingredients and then pass on the info to you. VOILA!!!! He gets a You Tube Channel with lots of viewers and then MAKES MONEY! Trust yourself.
Gold is inert. How can it be sensitising?
Hi, just watched your video. Firstly you only mention the most expensive products of the La Prairie range - i use the mid range they have and love them - most products last me 3-4 months, so whilst you guys buy products every other week, im using the same bottle. When you hit your 50's you stick with a brand that works, for me its La Prairie. Good luck everyone 😀
I love your videos! Make a video about beautybio please!!!
I use there eye cream & love it.
can you do eucerin
Honestly the crazy part about this is that they probably know these things about their ingredients
This video needs to have 200M views so that everyone sees it.
In Canada, the elixir costs over $2000 😅
i live in hk and there are certain mega rich ppl who swears by this brand and im just like...how the fk
Please do a review on endocare, its a Spain brand
You need to do an affordable antiaging routine..🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
He is too young.
Did you change your misinformed view on denatured alcohols yet?
The money people will pay for fillers and crappy ingredients! Please read your labels…and watch this channel ❤
Pleeeeease turn down the volume whenever you interject those snippets into your review! Sooooo loud and disturbing! I would’ve most likely finished watching your whole video if it didn’t bother the crap out of my ears whenever those popped up! You do have great info! 👍😊
exactly!
