I’m actually surprised that In 7:36 is doing their own Toku, I’m from Singapore and the majority most Singaporeans doesn’t have a strong feeling in the local arts let alone in most of their movies and TV shows, when u mention that they’ve been in this Project for 14 year and is gonna market to the US, it just surprises me alot

Page Productions *definitely* deserves more love and attention! They work hard to put out their serieses, and while the effects aren't great, that's not what matters. What matters is the time, effort and passion put into making an enjoyable story!
What became of them? I can't seem to find them anywhere now. This video is one of the few references I can find to it (that and a seemingly abandoned Facebook page)
Here's a fun fact! The original design for Singa that we had when the project started in 2006 resembled GARO and Lion Maru G A LOT, because the project was originally meant to be very dark and gritty like those two shows. I can only tell you this by memory because the designs had been lost.
X-Garion transformation dance is CLEARLY influenced by Kyoryuger. Anyone say otherwise need to bring a good evidence to say that it's not. Also, Jamminger have a nice fiveman vibe.and the transform sequence a gaoranger vibe

The studio behind fujiyama ichiban did tease a big movie finale that was going to wrap up the 12 episodes but as far as I know there hasn't been any news or post about it

Seeing the Emo Rangers here was quite the surprise for me! And suddenly, my memories of being an emo high-schooler are coming back…… And now the more I’m lamenting how we here in the Philippines don’t seem to get a lot of toku love as opposed to our Asian neighbors. Seriously, quite a surprise to know that even Vietnam and Malaysia are producing their own toku series. Heck, even China and South Korea have been doing that for so long already (of course, not as long as Japan has done, but still admirable).
I know, it's unacceptable! If many more of our kababayan were well educated in Toku maybe we'd have more original Toku, but no, those Dramas ruined it for everyone.
@@chasinthroughthedecade yes, so much. There is a big reason I stopped watching them, as evil wins every episode and good wins only one time in the finale and it angers me, but in Toku? I'm highly satisfied, except when the bad guys win out of nowhere and I have to wait a week or two.

@@chasinthroughthedecade I heard there's a stigma of those dramas having the same thing but repackaged in different kinds, even I can see it from a mile away when a new one pops up. At least Ang Probinsiyano is a good exception because at least it didn't make me annoyed since it never repeated the same things other dramas did.
I remember just last year, someone blocked me on Facebook simply because of me (& several other people but I only knew it happened to me, not getting to know if it happened to anyone else yet) telling this one person who kept claiming that Deka Mexican was making a mockery of tokusatsu & Jamminger had no passion, & I kept vouching "I see passion in this;" it didn't feel like something cobbled together in 5 minutes

There is this one channel called "Daikaiju Legends", which has it's own Ultra series based on a pre-existing series called "Zone Fighter". Season 1 isnt all that great, but season 2 is really good, and currently ongoing.
If you're gonna make another video like this in the future pls give Carpioman a shot a new tokusatsu series here in the Philippines you can find it in UA-cam with English subtitles I recommend it and it also has a lot of Showa era tributes and influences.
There is some Toku here um Brazil. Some of them are: TimerMan Gobetex Cosmo Patrol Cyberbio Rescue Robot XD (Robô de resgate XD) Insector Sun Krom Well, they aren't absolute masterpieces, but they are cool
I want to make a Toku and I have everything I need to do it, except one crucial part....I can't make suits, I can't afford all the material and stuff. Which is a huge bummer, I'm buying parts slowly to make an Ichigo suit, even then, no clue how to properly make the helmet. I want to start with a short film of Ichigo, just to see if I can do it. Then I'll make one of my own characters.
Have seen the sequel to bima satria Garuda? Its satria naga kai its motif is a dragon with cards ( like ryuki ) the pilot episodes is out on UA-cam but the series itself is getting alot of delay for unknown reason because it was scheduled to release in early 2019 but even by now only the pilot have been released.
I always wanted to do a show but no one wants to help me film and I need actors cause they think it's cringe. I don't get embarassed by people seeing me wear a Driver doing the Henshin or other things. I wish they'd just help me cause I have really cool ideas
There is one more Tokusatsu but it's actually was a kickstarter and its based in Hawai'i so yeah. I forgot what it was called but one trailer and thats all
We need more information on the Chinese Sentais. The first Giant Saver is NOT better then real Sentai, but I don't know where you say it's on UA-cam subbed. I've seen it on UA-cam with no translation.

What about Animated Toku? I realize that's a little oxymoronic, considering Toku is live, but I mean shows that act like Toku shows, like the Garo Anime.
